I chose Dr. Rodriguez after looking through his work on Instagram. He's very artistic in how he goes about his surgeries and his results never look exaggerated or unnatural. I arrived in Santo Domingo thinking I'd have surgery the next day which was a miscommunication on the staff part as I wound up staying for 5 days without surgery. That was an inconvenient expense but it's all good as I had the chance to speak to numerous other dolls before my surgery and they gave me helpful tips. I was having lipo BBL done so one warned me that after waking up from surgery I wouldn't be able to move my legs for some hours but it will subside. This helped me greatly because had I not known that before surgery I would have woken up panicked. Another girl also advised me to really ration my pain pump. Switch it off when not in pain and leave it on when in pain and especially during the post OP massages. I saw Dr. Rodriguez for consultation twice before my surgery. He was perfectly lovely and pleasant so were his staff. There was a mistake with my blood type result though so I insisted on a second test. Kindly come knowing your blood type. My biggest worry was not waking up from anaesthesia but the anesthesiologist was the nicest lady. Met her right before surgery, she spoke to me extensively right until I was knocked out. Woke up what felt like immediately afterwards so trust me ladies, surgery is not a big deal, recovery is the tough part. The doctor and the anesthesiologist came to check on me after surgery. Do get the overnight nurse BTW, very very helpful as you're basically immobile on the first day. First day is rough, not gonna lie. But you'll have pain meds. Second and third day were easy. Fourth and fifth day were very rough for me as I had nausea and crazy positional headaches. They go away when you lie down. Either way because of them I was recalled to the clinic and given IV meds which helped tremendously. The doctor's staff also kept checking on me daily and I had numerous consultations with the doctor after surgery before I left the country. Which is surprising given how busy he is. Overally my experience was really great. Dr. Wilfredo Rodriguez and his staff are the absolute best. That's the only doctor I would go to for BBL to be honest. I cannot recommend him enough.
I’m looking into this doctor for my round 2 if anybody is also looking to go with him I’m going in early June! Follow my sx account on insta iwntdasx__ Also if you know of anything recent please I from me. I see reviews from 2016 and 2017 about deaths etc but nothing recent

So this year is the year that I finally decided that I was ready to go through this journey. I’m 23 years old. Mother to 5 year old boy. I’m currently 147 lbs and 5’3. Ever since I had my son I gained lots of weight and then lost weight now I have so much saggy skin. I’ve been doing my research for about 3 years. I know so many girls that are close to me that have gone overseas to the Dominican Republic and they came back fine. I wanted to go with yily at first then Tania Medina , but I finally made my decision and I’m going with Dr. Wilfredo Rodriguez. I love his results and the way he shapes the waist and hips and ass. It’s amazing. I received quote from his team from his team. I’m just waiting now to make it official. I have my doctor appointment with my primary doctor on March 12 and I’m just super excited to finally begin this journey. Updated on 26 Feb 2019: So I decided to change doctors just because I’ve read so many reviews on Dr. Rodriguez and he has so many botched stories and stories on infections and deaths. Like don’t get me to I love his work but I love my life even more. Lol. So I decided to how with Dr. Marcos Soto. I fell in love with with his work. He has a clean record and I’ve read so many great reviews. So far I’ve contacted his team to make a deposit because I’m trying to go as soon as May 2019. Hopefully my date is available. Wish me luck.
So i’ve decided to go with Pena thinking he was delivering and had only 1 death back in 2013/2014 and a infection in 2017 due to the general infection at CIPLA which wasn’t his fault. Now I found out he didn’t have 1 death back in ‘13/‘14 but 3 and another death in ‘17 from a lady in the bahama’s and the infection. This is making me lean towards Cabral. Why? Because they both deliver (Cabral is king but Pena seems to be catching up). Desena was once on this list but he’s had 3 deaths since the beginning of this year, in Jan, Feb and March. Thank God for Corona because somebody’s daughter would be laying in a coffin under a plane coming from DR. Anyways back to Cabral and Pena. What do you girls think? It’s honestly such a hard decision to make, also finding a surgeon that delivers vixen latherals consistency with NO bad receipts is almost impossible. I’m not going for the natural look so it automatically cancels out 3/4 of surgeons.
Had a BBL and what was supposed to be a breast reduction back in summer 2017. My bbl was great, overall he gave me a really good shape actually perfect. However I had a really bad Lipo burn on my back and my breast weren’t reduced at all. When I asked him about my breasts at follow up appointment he said they were a “c” cup just swollen. When I got back to US 3 weeks later I suffered necrosis of the breasts, stitches started popping off my incision. When I went to the ER they brought plastic surgeon to my room and told me that my stitches had too much tension and all I could do was let my body continue rejecting them and get a 2nd breast surgery once healed. Now I’m trying to find a doctor willing to correct my scars. They are horrible and huge! My scars are thicker than the nipple he left me with.
Okay so I researched plenty of doctors in the Dominican Republic. (I was on a budget smh.) I made my decision to go to Dr Wilfred Rodriguez Pena. He is truly a caring doctor. But he messed up my boobs. I love my BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift). But I hate my boobs. I thought I was getting a full C. Actually it was supposed to be a reduction with implants. But my breast are still relatively huge. My scarring is horrid! It's like he cut off a fourth of my right nipple. Now I want to find an American doctor that is willing to fix this. I'm no longer on a budget. I just really want my breast scars corrected. I don't mind having a lollipop scar. Someone please help! Professional advice please!!!
I saw dr Rodriguez two times , my first time I got lipo bbl my results were good but I went back for a second time a year later for another bbl but this time with breast lift. I naturally had large breasts already and told dr Rodriguez I did not want implants inly a lift. The doctor advised me that I HAD to get breast implants because it wouldn’t look right and that it wouldn’t be any price difference, he told me this same day as surgery. Didn’t tell me the size he was using or anything or the type or any information what so ever. I stayed in the recovery house for 2 weeks. I noticed that my breast incisions were not closing and the recovery house assured me this was normal. I flew back to Canada after 2 weeks within the 3rd week I noticed my incisions on both breasts were black and also opening into a large hole that was leaking puss constantly:l. I sent a picture to the doctor to ask if I should speak medical attention and the response was only “do not touch the incision” nothing else. I waited another week and the incision was still leaking puss and not closing so I went to the mergency room where the plastic surgeon informed me that they had to remove both implants immediately because I had a severe infection around both implants and that eventually my body will go into sepsis and I will die. This was especially hard for me as I had told the doctor I didn’t want implants in the first place. And both breasts also had necrosis in the incisions, the stitches that were used were not desolvable nor removed by dr Rodriguez so they were lodged into my breasts creating dark marks and bumps. I had a pump placed into my breasts after removal which I had to keep for 1 week, by this time I should have already been healed if surgery was done correctly with proper practise. I had a phone call with the doctor where they had told me they would refund me 3000$ of the 4000$ I paid for my breast. Which mind you I’ve paid this doctor well over 14000$ for both times I’ve seen him. The doctor refunded me 2000$ which took two months to get. When I asked about the other 1000$ I was owed they told me he wasn’t going to send it because it was too expensive to send. I am left today with very large thick scars all over my breasts that have left me even more self conscious then I was before my surgery. And with deflated breasts as well as I had to have the implants removed. I would not reccomend putting your life in danger with this doctor. Have I not went to the emergency room when I did I may have died.
In 2021 I had a breast augmentation from Dr Rodriguez Peña. The follow up after surgery. I expressed my concerns I was told I was fine. Two months later, I expressed them again I was told the same thing. In 2022. I contacted the office again about my concerns and was told I will be fine. Just give it some time. 2023 I did the same thing because my implants did not feel right. March 5, 2024 I received a mammogram and was told that I had a collapsed implant. When I contacted the doctors I was given the runaround for 10 days and when I finally spoke to the doctor, he said he’ll fix it for the money that I originally paid for. NO ONE SHOULD BE RECOMMENDED TO THIS MAN! Money hungry and terrible people skills.
hello recovery in breast augmentation surgery depends on several factors, including the rest to save the patient the first three days, usually placed in front of the muscle implants causing discomfort and the possibility of pain and decrease bleeding by so at that time you can get an excellent recovery
