I have never been able to wear T-Shirts in my entire life because I sweat through them. Dr. Bowe suggested Miradry and after the first treatment at a 3 the results have been amazing. I can wear shirts without towels and I was well in under 5 days. It is a crazy great change. I would do it again!
I have always wanted a full, beautiful upper lip (mine is very thin), but I was afraid to have filler because I didn't want to look artificial or like I had "work" done. The experience was painless, relaxing, and fun and the result is incredible! I have never felt more beautiful and my face looks younger and completely natural. I am absolutely thrilled!
I had horrific acne scarring since my teenage years. Dr. Bowe used a combination of fraxel treatments and filler to alleviate this condition. Although I was intially sceptical of the procedure, the outcome was amazing!
I was treated by Dr. Bowe who injected Radiesse and botox. I look as if I found the fountain of youth! Because of Dr. Bowe's expertise I look as if I went on vacation and the procedure was relatively pain free. I look refreshed and younger. Thank you Dr. Bowe for making me look and fell terrific!
I was recently looking for a new job and wanted to look my best for interviews. I had heard Dr. Bowe was an expert with botox and lasers, so I went to her to help me look refreshed, but still natural. She gave me a natural botox treatment and then did a laser treatment called Fraxel. I keep getting compliments that I look refreshed/like I've been on vacation! But nobody suspects I had work done... Perfect! Definitely would trust Dr. Bowe for ANYTHING cosmetic!
Saw Dr.Bowe and had Botox and wanted to try a product for my lip. Never had my lip done before. I totally love the natural way that DrBowe practices cosmetic and does not push you do do more the you came in for. She has a very special Way she injects all patients with time and TLC. After I had my lips done I went back to her for to had a little volume to my cheekbone. She is smart, patient and will spend time to go over with you with every question you have for. She is great a very talented doctor and trust her with my face. I give her 5 stars.
Unfortunately, there are doctors out there who take a weekend course and call themselves "certified" in botox. However, it is critical to fully understand the anatomy of the face prior to injecting botox. The crows feet injections need to be very superficial, and extend only so far down on the cheek in order to prevent accidentally "hitting" a nearby muscle. I would look for a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon in your area and go to that person for your next treatment.
I've done a number of cases in which I inject botox into the jawline to taper it and make the jaw a bit more defined. I actually don't think the technique is very difficult, but you have to make sure the patient's anatomy is conducive to benefiting from the procedure. Then it's a matter of finding the right dose for a patient. I usually start with conservative doses and see how someone responds. You can always add more at a follow up visit, but you can't take botox away.
If you treat the forehead with botox without treating the glabella, you run the risk of the patient feeling as though their forehead is "heavy." It's a neanderthal sensation and patients hate it. I have treated a number of patients with SIGNIFICANTLY higher doses in the forehead than what you're worried about, without a ptosis/eyelid droop. It all depends on technique and finding a dose that's best for the patient.
I would recommend doing a series of fraxel treatments for the lip lines (minimal downtime after each treatment) followed by Belotero injections and a drop of botox. I would do the laser first, because you might need less filler once the laser is done.
I love using botox to shape the brows. Just a tiny drop of botox in the right place can lift, lower, or even give an arch to flat brows. If your brows are uneven at baseline (without any botox), then you can either drop the higher brow OR raise the lower brow. However, if your brows are uneven AFTER botox, then an adjustment needs to be made. The best way to determine how to make the adjustment is for your doctor to have you make facial expressions in the office. That will let him/her determine the most effective way to correct the asymmetry.
