Dr. Silk did a great job removing a very large cataract from my eye and going from not being able to see to clear bright vision was a miracle. He was very patient and very professional. I will be going back in 6 months for removal of a cataract in my other eye. I have full confidence that it will be as good an experience as the first eye. I'm very grateful.

Dr Silk is an amazing doctor! Doctors like this do not come along often. He provides a customized experience with a great deal of professionalism and concern for his patients. It is clear that he cares a great deal about what he does. He is honest in his approach and ensures that anyone who is interested in LASIK is a good fit. I have never written a review for a medical profession, but this time I must. Dr. Silk is exceptional. I was born with extremely poor eyesight - almost blind. Throughout the years I wore very thick glasses; was one of the first children (13 yrs old) to be allowed to have contact glasses when they were first approved. Ran the gamut from hard plastic to gas permeable lenses. After years of wearing them my eyes could no longer tolerate contacts. I had radial keratotomy 30 years ago (before lasers) and my eyes were fine for many years. During the last year my eyesight began to deteriorate. I made an appointment with Dr. Silk (after much agonizing because I am a huge coward), and the result was a diagnosis of cataracts. Long story short, after two cancellations for surgery, I finally did it. Two weeks ago - left eye. One week ago - the right. Words are not enough to express my gratitude to Dr. Silk. The reason I am writing is that I am an extremely anxious patient. Dr. Silk, and his entire team, treated me with such patience and kindness. My surgery was challenging because I had scarring on my corneas from the keratotomy, and Dr. Silk was completely honest about how long it would take me to see results. However, this morning I woke up, opened my eyes and I could see!

Dr. Silk performed PRK on me and now I have perfect vision. He took time to thoroughly examine with pre-op and post-op appointments. He also explained everything in great detail and answered all of our questions. His office staff was kind and very helpful. Jessica was very communicative with us and was very flexible with making necessary changes. Thank you Dr. Silk!

He answered all my questions, in the beginning i went for Lasik but after he examined me he recommended to go for PRK because I had a dry eye problem & let me tell you the results are amazing! Is worth every penny.

Dr. Silk and his team have done a great job in my LASIK procedure. The whole process was smooth and professional. Dr. Silk himself went through all the inspections with me before and after the surgery. His knowledge about his patients enables him to customize the solution that works for each patient.

Now I am two months after the procedure, and both of my eyes perform pretty well, given that my right eye was severely nearsighted! Now the vision is brought back into normal range and I can finally get rid of the heavy glasses that I used to wear. It helps me a lot in studying and doing sports. I highly recommend Dr. Silk regarding any vision-related issues!
