I realized I attached my labiaplasty photos to my BA review. I don't have many photos of my labia lips from before, but they definitely hung a little longer than I liked and made certain lace panties uncomfortable. As soon as I found out you could have them trimmed up, that became priority #1 for me. My initial review is, there could have been more taken off. I'm going to wait for the swelling to go down, but I'm thankful he was conservative the first time around. We joked initially about how you can take more off but rarely can you put it back on lol.
I've had a great experience at Zollman Plastic Surgery. Linda was so incredibly helpful. She was so candid and talked to me like she genuinely wanted me to be the happiest I could be. Not just half assed "whatever you prefer" type answers, she meticulously went though reference photos with me and passed along new info to my surgeon during the week before surgery. I am very happy with my BA so far, however I'm still in a bit of pain, though that is to be expected! The second operation I did was a labiaplasty. I believe this could be cleaned up a bit as it looks like the left lip is a bit longer than the right. But it might still swollen. Virtually no pain, thank goodness!
The fourth massive skin removal surgery in my journey. To date I've had a tummy tuck, Brachioplasty, upper & lower back lift. I'm close to 200lbs lost, this surgery should put me over the edge. My upper inner thigh has been something I have covered up, it's ugly and bulges, and I can't wait for it to be gone. Updated on 30 Mar 2021: I’m surprised so far. I expected this to be much harder than it is. I guess I’ve been through a couple of these so I’ve gotten better at knowing what to expect. I highly recommend getting a 4in toilet seat cushion, a she-wee, a roll of 3in tegaderm, Benadryl, & A leg elevation pillow. So far it’s really just been rest and boredom. Set yourself up with chargers and everything you need close to you so you don’t have to move. My legs are red from my first post op appt, and them taking off the steri strips/tegaderm. Super happy so far!!!
My 3rd area of major skin removal. I've done my stomach and arms. Very excited to get this done. In the last 3 years I have lost a lot of weight and leveraged surgery to get to the body I want. This surgery will remove excess fat and skin from my back and lift my butt. They will cut across my back from side to side at my bra line and hips. If it goes the way I hope my ass will be FABULOUS, and I'll be flaunting it in 2 piece swimsuits this summer. Updated on 19 Jan 2021: Removing skin and fat at bra line and waist Updated on 19 Jan 2021: I love that my doc takes pics in surgery Updated on 21 Jan 2021: Got in surgery photos from Doc today. It’s intense to see what your insides look like. Updated on 21 Jan 2021: Wow Updated on 23 Jan 2021: Red from all the staples coming out but super happy with results
This will be my second procedure, and will be a two step process. In Jan 2018 I had a full abdominoplasty removing all the fat and hanging skin from my front. Now we are debulking my back and then I will have the extended abdominoplasty in a couple months. I have a lot of fat in and above my butt. I’ve had this shelf as long as I can remember. Seriously you could set a drink on it. So July 31st I’m having lipo from my bra line to my butt and around my hips. I love my surgeon because he’s safe but aggressive, and so I can not wait to see how many liters he removes and how many inches it takes off! Updated on 1 Aug 2019: I’m surprised how fine I’m actually doing. Yesterday when I woke up from surgery it was rough. I have an allergy to dilaudid which makes pain management a little more complicated for me. When they moved me from recovery I was crying the pain was so bad. It felt like a combination of my skin was burning and like someone had just beat me with a baseball bat, the feeling was super intense. I have a high tolerance for pain (two kids naturally by voice), I rated my pain at a 9, my husband was shocked. They have me an oral OxyContin and that quickly changed. Because of how much fluid they pumped in I have two drains coming from the back. Im wearing a surgical bra and because I’m 6’0 tall I have 2 binders. I have a decent amount of blood coming from the drain area so I have a pad there. As soon as the drains are removed I have a full knee to shoulder surgical compression garment I’ll change too. I slept on the recliner last night and I’m really quite comfortable as long as I’m not moving. I needed help standing up this morning because the pain meds wore off over night but I’m moving well. When I sit down or stand up there is a very sharp pain at the incisions that is a combo of deep bruise and burn. I’m super excited to see what this looks like in the upcoming weeks. I had my surgeon take pics so as soon as he send them I’ll have them posted! Attached is what some of the bruising looked like last night.
