Bilateral breast augmentation with 520cc moderate profile silicone. The surgery center was great. I felt amazing day one, day two was a little rough I likely over did it on day one post op. Absolutely no post op bleeding. Pain is about a 3-5/10. Controlled with Tylenol and prescribed meds.
Hello- I have been wanting a BA for over 15 years and finally made the decision! I have 2 sons and breastfeed both for almost a year each. My breast were a 32 A cup and I went for the Mentor Silicon Round Moderate Plus 325cc. The procedure went great and now I have very little pain. My only concern is they are still very tight and high up on my chest- wondering if this is normal.
If I could give Dr. Wally Hosn 10 stars I would. His care is professional and outstanding from the very first consultation appointment till the last post op. He takes all the time to explain the surgical procedures so you have a clear understanding of what to expect. I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my facelift he performed 7 weeks ago! I understood the care and healing time and patience it takes. The results are amazing! If you are contemplating to do the procedure go see Dr. Hosn! I highly recommend him without any hesitation! His office staff is friendly and professional as well.
My breast lift went very well! Dr H is calm, honest and takes the time to explain, measure, examine and discuss the patients requests. I changed my plans from an augmentation to a lift the week before surgery and he didn't bat an eye. Very patient and a great bedside manner.
Full breast lift with silicone under muscle . 421 cc and 457 cc. Everything has gone very smooth . The pain the first and second days was a little more than I expected but manageable. my right breast is dropping sooner than my left, my left has the bigger implant. So far everything looks great three weeks post op!
Well i have known i would get a breast augmentation since my breasts started to grow at 12 years old and then stopped growing that same year. I am very small chested an A cup on the right and a AA on the left. I have always been so self concious of my breasts and have always felt incomplete and not proportionate to my body at all. Today i had my consultation and booked my surgery for Jan. 3rd i am so excited words can not even describe how i feel. The office staff were all very friendly and Dr. Hosn was so welcoming and extremely informative. I have decided to go with saline unders moderate profile...the size is still kindve up in the air but i will probably be going with 450-480cc with my incision being placed in my breast fold. My next appt is in about a month and a half there we will make the final decision on the size and placement... i cant wait!!! Updated on 16 Nov 2011: Hi everyone well i still have a month and a half left but everyday i get closer and closer to my surgery and am so anxious to get them done. My appt time is all set i will be going in Jan. 3rd @ 6am and the surgery will begin at 7am i should be out of there by 12 or 1 depending on how my recovery goes...Ive been looking at tons and tons of before & after pics and am getting really nervous about how my breasts are going to look...so many after pics im seeing just arent what i want. Thankfully i really like & trust my surgeon and know he'll give me what i want. I think my nerves are getting to me and this whole waiting game :/ Well thats it for now ill probably write back after my 2nd pre-op december 14th. Have a great thanksgiving ladies :) Updated on 14 Dec 2011: Well i had my second-to-last pre op today and i am getting so excited!!! We looked at different sizes of implants again and have agreed on a final size of 540cc in my left breast and 490cc in my right. I loved the look of these sizes and really felt like they suited the look im going for. I cant believe its only 2 1/2 weeks away i am so anxious to get them!! We took my before pics today as well and he feels very confident that he can achieve the look i want which makes me really happy. Well thats all for now ill probably update a few days before my surgery...woohoo so happy :) Updated on 1 Jan 2012: My surgery is in 2 days and i am so excited/ nervous i cant believe its finally here!! My husband went out and bought me a wedge pillow which will be great for propping me up after surgery and im picking up my meds tomorrow. I do have a quick question for anyone that can answer...i was wondering if your nipple color or size changes after surgery? In alot of before and after photos it doesnt look like to much of a change but in some it does so im just kindve curious what peoples experiences have been. Well wish me luck girls and ill try and post something the day of surgery if im not to knocked out. Updated on 3 Jan 2012: Well girls I now have big beautiful breasts :) I am so happy my surgery took a little under 2 hours and I woke up feeling great and not sick at all I do have some pain and pressure but nowhere near what I thought and it's very bearable I'm already home and all set up in bed I am so happy I did this and can't wait to see the bandages come off tomorrow woohoo for boobies :) Updated on 4 Jan 2012: Post op day 2 I slept great last night and woke up feeling so refreshed around 9am I got really nauseous and the shivers I took an anti nausea pill and drank a smoothie and that seemed to help a lot I honestly don't feel any pain when I'm lying down its only when I get up from a laying down position... I saw my dr today for my first post op and I finally got to see them I am so happy I wanted to cry my asymmetry is almost 100% fixed and the size and shape are exactly what I wanted I get to take off my bandage tomorrow and as soon as I do I'll post pics :) Updated on 8 Jan 2012: Well today is Post op day 5 and im still feeling great i have almost full movement back in my arms just a little tightness when i reach too high, I went into town today to buy a comfortable underwire bra for once my stitches are removed, My surgeon said that my tissues around my incision (under my breast fold) are a little weaker than others so i need to wear an underwire bra for 6 weeks instead of my surgical bra because the underwire will help shape the breasts better. I got measured as i am now as a 36 D which is so exciting because thats exactly what i wanted i know theyre still going to change alot but i think that im going to end up with a D or a DD. All the bras i tried on fit me great and it was just so exciting to go bra shopping for once and actually be able to fill out bras and be happy with what i was seeing. Oh getting out of bed has gotten so much easier as well its not even painful anymore i just use my stomach muscles a little more and im up....well thats it for now girls :) Updated on 11 Jan 2012: Yesterday was post op day 7 and was also my first day back to work luckily i get to sit at my desk for most of the day but i also use my arms alot and i was pretty sore by the end of the day but still no pain just tightness and also i was really tired. I feel like everyday they look better and better im just so happy with them :) Updated on 14 Jan 2012: Post op day 11-well i got my stitches out on thursday and he said everything was looking great and then showed me how to start massaging them. Im really happy with them just kindve having an off day emotionally today my left breast is still so high and swollen and the nipple is a little higher than the right i know nothing happens over night i just wish they looked perfect now but i know i just have to have patience....anybody else experience some difference in nipple height or placement after surgery and then it went back to normal?? Ok well thats it for now Updated on 24 Jan 2012: Post op day 20- well things are going great the pressure and rock kind of feeling are gone and im just so happy with them right now, there still sitting high up but they have already dropped alot and i can tell the swelling has gone down alot too. When did all of yours finally drop? just kindve wondering the timeline for everyone... Updated on 31 Jan 2012: post op day 27- everything is still going great i do my massages twice a day for 5 minutes each time i feel like theyre dropping slowly and im just so happy with how theyre looking...im not in any discomfort just a slight shooting pain sometimes but it comes and goes in a few seconds. Updated on 8 Feb 2012: I am now 5 weeks post op and feel 100% back to normal i love my new breasts more and more everyday, and i am just so happy that i did this. I definitley feel like this has been a huge emotional rollercoaster though, some days i love them and then other days i pick out every flaw and wonder what i could have done differently but at the end of the day im always happy with them and i just keep on reminding myself that this is a long healing process and patience really is key. Well thats all for now i have my last post op appt this coming monday and ill update after that. Updated on 9 Mar 2012: Its been awhile since ive been on here but everything is still going really well i am so happy with my decision and would do it all over again in a heartbeat....i do think that there still sitting a little higher than i would like but in the grand scheme of things i really dont care im so happy with everything else. Well hope everyone is well and good luck with any upcoming surgeries :)
I had considered getting a breast augmentation for years, and after nursing my two children and extensive research, I knew it was the right time. I had always had small breasts but after nursing was left with nothing! I had 330cc saline implants filled to 360cc and placed behind the muscle. I am so happy with my results and love my new look! Yes, it was painful for the first few days, but recovery was much faster and easier than I had anticipated. Well worth it!
Ever since I was young I've always wanted bigger breasts! Maybe it doesn't help that my sister & mom have big breasts! I knew one day I would full fill my dream, & in 6 days I'm having my surgery!! I was waiting for the right timing and I figured that after loosing 55 pounds And keeping it off for over a year, and having the cash to pay for the surgery was perfect timing! To me it seemed like a sign!! I'm so excited, anxious, and getting more impatient the closer it gets! I have an amazing surgeon who is so attentive listening to my goals & answering all of my questions. My goal is to have full, natural looking breasts with emphasis on cleavage. I live a very active lifestyle & run about 20 miles a week and don't want my boobs to interfere with that. I realize now after several consults that measuring by cup size is inaccurate. The only decision I have left to decide is on my size which we will do day before surgery. My surgeon recommends a 450cc implant filled to 480cc with saline under my muscles. I know he's based this off of my chest measurements and goals but I just don't want them to be ridiculously huge! I'm 5'8" with an athletic body frame. doctor said I can go bigger because of my height, breast tissue, & my wide chest. I've talked with friends who have implants to help me get a better idea of size and visuals but I think it's just confusing me! I trust my surgeon so I will discuss my concerns again and let him give me his expert advise! I will update on my final decision the day before my surgery!
Prior to kids, I really didn't mind my boobs, I had a B cup and they fit my body just fine. Once I had kids, I developed curves, and a butt. After breastfeeding my breasts shrunk to a small A, and reminded me of deflated balloons, LOL. I just don't feel like they fit my body AT ALL anymore. I decided that getting a breast augmentation was the right thing for me to do at this point in my life, being that I am done having kids. I had my consultation early June, and booked that day, I wanted to save up some more sick pay through work so I did not schedule my surgery day until Nov. 14th...UGHHHH its taking forever to get here!! :) Anyway, about a month in a half away now, and I am getting really excited. I posted some pictures of my breasts now, and a couple of my wish list pictures. I am going with Dr. Hosn in San Luis Obispo and so far he is amazing, and so knowledgeable. My consult was over 2 hours because he went into so much detail and answered every single question and concern I had. I will keep you posted! Updated on 29 Oct 2017: Surgery is on the 14h and I am getting so excited! We decided on 420cc undies. Couple pics in a sport bra, so flat!!! Over jt! As you can see my stomach has loose skin from having 2 babies, so my boobs hopefully will stick out far enough so I don't see my stomach anymore, lol. That's on the list to fix. Updated on 15 Nov 2017: I had my BA yesterday and it went really well!! I have done well with pain management, and have been taking my pain meds about every 6 to 7 hours instead of every 4. I am wrapped still with ace bandage but I am going to my post op appointment at 2 and that will come off, thank goodness. I will finally get a peek at these boobies. We went with 420cc in the right and 410cc in the left, because my left is a tad smaller. More then pain, it is just so tight and sore, but manageable. But In the middle of the night I woke up really sore and in pain and I couldn't get my pain med bottle open, as easy as you think that is it was not. It took me 20 minutes LOL, I have been at my moms, but I do not want to wake her up. So take out your pills and put them on the bedside prior to going to sleep so you won't have that issue ha ha. I'll post pics when I get to finally see them! Updated on 17 Nov 2017: Today I am doing so much better!! I have not needed pain meds since last night around 9 PM. I slept all night last night. I'm starting to feel human again!! I still have not pooped though. It's been 3 days!! Ughhhh. I'm so bloated and I've taken colace and milk of magnesia! Hopefully that will happen soon. My breasts look so funny right now, which I knew they would because I did a lot of research prior to surgery, vey high! My surgeon said about six weeks they will drop 75% ...I am so happy and excited to watch the drop and fluff process. Back to work on Monday! (Don't mind my bloated belly in pics lol) Updated on 18 Nov 2017: Well i will say that my stomach has been harder to deal with over the last four days then my boobs!! Couldn't go to the bathroom for the first three days so I was taking a couple different things to help that, then when it finally started working I was..... TMI on the toilet all night last night. My stomach is not happy right now. On the bright side I am taking pain meds less and less, and pretty much just taking half a pill every six or seven hours at this point. I am going back to work on Monday so I obviously can't be on pain pills at work. The process of recovery has been a lot better than I was expecting, but my boobs feel very very tight and hard, I knew that was going to be the case for a few weeks for sure. I think I'm going to be very happy with them when they drop and fluff. The size I think is perfect! Updated on 20 Nov 2017: I will post pics soon. I went back to work today, it was tough for a few hours but all in all it was a good day. I'm a office manager so sit on the computer a lot, which was why I was able to go back so soon. On extra strength Tylenol now, I do take a pain pill at night so I sleep better. Feeling sore at just tight at this point. These boobs are rocks still! Can't wait for the softening and dropping process! I'll post pics tomorrow of 7 day post op Updated on 22 Nov 2017: Today marks nine days post surgery, I am feeling more like myself every day. I got the stitches removed today which was not painful at all, and on day 10 which is Friday I am able to get a underwire bra and start massaging so they fall into the pocket, I am loving the cleavage right now but I'm excited to see when they drop and have more projection outward. I cannot believe it has already been nine days since my surgery, it has gone by fast! Really really happy with the results and they will only get better, best thing money can buy lol Updated on 24 Nov 2017: At day 10, you can't lift your arms over your head, stretch out, sleep on your side, and start driving...OHHH and get new bras! My surgeon recommends wearing a underwire bra after day 10 but no push-up or padding, like a Demi or a Victoria secret knock-out sports bra. I got a body by Victoria Demi, and a Victoria secret knock-out sports bra. Drum roll please......sizeeeeeeee......34D! Holy moly going from a 34A to a 34D is pretty crazy! I still have a lot of dropping to do, but once they drop they will pro-ject outwards more, so they're going to fill the cup more, which they already fill the D cup pretty well. So happy already. Updated on 28 Nov 2017: Well I hit the two week mark, it has gone by pretty fast! I finally feel at this point just about back to normal, the only thing that is still hard is sleeping. I always have slept on my stomach, now I'm having to sleep on my back and my side, which my side still feels weird to sleep on so pretty much my back. I feel like I can't get comfortable. Oh well. I feel like my boobs are getting bigger as time goes on. The sports bra I am wearing in the picture is so tight and it's a D! I really was thinking I was probably going to end up with C's. I am very surprised by the outcome of a D LOL! The day I came home from surgery I was able to put one finger in between my collarbone and where my boob started LOL, they were so high. I know they have dropped some because now I can fit three fingers in between. Other than that not much has changed. I have to wear a underwire bra at all times so I wear a body by Victoria Demi during the day and a Victoria secret front clasp sports bra at night. I will do another update at three weeks Updated on 4 Dec 2017: I am feeling more myself every day, no more soreness at all! I am doing my exercises two times a day, my surgeon didn't give me much to do just squeezing the top part and holding for 10 seconds then moving a little bit over and holding another 10 seconds, and so on, to kind of allow them to drop into the pocket. I am taping my incisions myself every Wednesday, so I will post a picture of what they look like three weeks later, last Wednesday though I was so surprised at how good they looked for being so close to surgery! Finally back in the gym doing a low impact exercises. Which is a good feeling after being off, and lazy for three weeks. Updated on 20 Dec 2017: Things are looking and dropping so nicely! Getting more squishy daily. My left is my fav so far. The right is being stubborn Updated on 20 Dec 2017: 7 days post and 5 weeks post Updated on 10 Jan 2018: So I just hit 8 weeks post op, and I am soooo happy with the results!! I have officially been measured at VS and am a 34D! I went from a 34A to a D. They are proportioned to my body which I wanted, and I couldn't be happier with the results and with my surgeon. Per his request, I have started massaging aveeno baby sunscreen with Zinc on my incisions daily. I guess zinc breaks up scar tissue and reduces appearance of scar. He said mine have dropped and have settled over 75% of what they are going too, the rest will happen slowly over the first year. I love the way they look now though.
Jan 17th is my surgery date. Had a pre-op yesterday. Having thermography tomorrow AM. Last mammo was fine. We are doing under the muscle, textured silicone. 295 on the L, 275 on the R. I am already a small C. He said he would not be able to get my desired effect any smaller which is fine. Nervous about recovery a bit. Have to be back at work as a nurse case manager 7 days later. Hoping to feel good. I've been told it's enough time. Best wishes everyone! Updated on 17 Jan 2017: I'm feeling pretty good! Surgery was at 11:30am. I did throw up on the 30 minute drive home and dry heaved once I got home (eesh) but then felt much better. I had a good experience at the surgery center and my pain has been very tolerable. I haven't taken anything for pain and it's almost 8:45pm. Follow up is tomorrow at 10:00am. Wish I would have scheduled it for later in the day.
