I had an appointment with Dr. Elyaman, this doctor made me feel so comfortable. He was completely honest and made me feel that he wasn't in it for the profit. Prior to my appointment with Dr. Elyaman, I had a consult with one of his amazing staff members that made me feel welcomed (which I find to be extremely important) the staff was absolutely amazing. Dr. Elyaman's professional attitude was so warm and comforting. I received Juvederm to my lips with Voluma to my cheeks for contouring. I contacted the office and explained that I had a bruise on my face that I was concerned about, Krystal and Aaron the laser techs made me feel amazing and took such good care of me for NO CHARGE! I couldn't believe how amazing this establishment was. I highly recommend Innova Wellness Spa! I will def be returning.
I've had two children and with my last baby I was left with hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. I also lived on the beach and in the Caribbean for many years so the sun damage is beginning to show through.... Add to that the common signs of aging (fine lines and wrinkles), early mornings for work with little sleep because of the baby (dark circles) and general dullness due to lack of exfoliation and guess what that makes me? THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR PEARL LASER! I'm excited to see the result after doing a lot of research..... I'll keep a day by day log with pics and let you know what the outcome is! Updated on 23 Dec 2017: Aside from looking like I have a massive sunburn, this morning and afternoon wasn't so bad. Tonight however, my face is soooo itchy! I'd like to scratch but I know I can't! I've been soaking with vinegar rinses as often as possible and it helps but still super itchy.... I'm convincing myself that it's a good thing and that it's healing. Post more pics tomorrow...... Updated on 24 Dec 2017: Woke up in the middle of the night with the urge to scratch my fac but of course I didn't. Vinegar soaks regularly and Vaseline still don't curb the itchiness. This is Day 2-3. Very red and puffy. Going back to work on Thursday so I'm keeping the faith that I'll look semi normal by then!
I was going to purchase a Groupon for 20 units of Botox. I called Innova inquiring about appointment availability, they told me I did not have to purchase the Groupon and they would honor it. I've had Botox before from another provider several times, so I know what 20 units of Botox does for me. They did not even come close to providing 20. After two weeks (normal time allowed to full affects to take place) I called them to complain. They asked me to come in. They offered to give me 10 more units, but even now, after taking the time off work to drive a half hour to them, the additional so called "ten" units barely did anything in addition to the 20 they said they gave me previously. I would not recommend them. They could have had a potential future customer if they would have gave me what I paid for. Thus my review. NOT SATISFIED AT ALL.
So in general, most patients who have laser hair removal eventually do regrow hair. Its usually a couple of years down the line. One option you can consider is Platelet rich plasma or PRP. It involves drawing your own blood, spinning it down, and harvesting the platelet rich plasma. Then it will be injected/microneedled into your skin. This same technique is used for hair growth on the head. Not a guarantee, but it should help.
If there is no other cause of the muscles pulling, then Botox is your best bet. It is not a injection done every day so yes make sure that your injector is comfortable with it. I have to say though it may take some trial and error to get it just right. Depends on how your muscles respond to it. The good news is that botox would likely make a big improvement placed in the right spots.
