My experience with Dr.Dagan was fantastic. He made me feel very comfortable from the moment we met, he is not interested in making you look fake or outrageous. Dr. Dangan is truly an artist and brings out your natural beauty with minimal procedures. He has a excellent bedside manner, wonderful sense of humor and I look forward to my visits with him.
Friendly and welcoming staff, the office is absolutely beautiful! Dr. Dagan is very personable and makes you feel comfortable during the procedure. I would highly recommend him to friends and family..
He was very considerate with the pain that I experienced in which he made a lot of adjustments to the size of the needle he used. No dull moment. Fast but precise. Jolly & kind. It was amazing experience for a first timer in his spa!
I was very impressed. On my first visit he took the time to get to know me, not just read what his computer told him about me. I was looking for a doctor that could take the lead for my care and be my "project manger" for the specialty doctors I was seeing. He was very attentive, patient, and knowledgeable and took the extra time to answer the addition questions that I had. He's funny to. Great personality. I am so thankful he was recommended to me by my co-worker and glad I switched doctors. He fits the description of a good old fashioned doctor. Practicing medicine the way it should be. Not commercialized. I had other concerns that he was able to help with though Nutura MedSpa. First visit there was amazing too.
I'm a 45 year old business executive and mother of three who visited Nurtura Medspa for some botox in late August. I've been using botox and occasionally filler for the past 12 years, without incident. That all changed when I visited Dr Waldo's clinic. It was the day before leaving on vacation, and I declined filler since I know swelling and bruising can occur, especially with the added complication of air travel, and requested only botox since I have never had a negative reaction to it. While the botox was being applied, Dr Dagan started to critique my facial skin in a very uncomplimentary way. I understand that a doctor should be honest, but there was an aspect of shaming and embarrassment around this conversation that felt deliberate and part of a 'sales pitch'. For the 30 mins it took to inject the botox, he spoke to a pretty young assistant about how badly damaged my skin was from the sun, and listed off a series of very much needed treatments to improve it. I think I have a fairly solid and balanced level of self esteem, but I did feel embarrassed and self conscious. During this time, he suggested filler for my cheeks to help offset the wrinkles around my mouth (something I told him I was very self conscious about) and that it would take 10 years off. I told him I didn't want to do filler because my family were going on an international holiday and as my son was leaving for college, I wanted to get lots of photos in case it was the last opportunity to get complete family photos for some time. He was relentless, peppering the conversation with passive aggressive insults around how old I looked, and how he could help change that. Over the next 45 mins, I had metal wire threaded from my jaw and my hairline, through which the filler product would be deposited. While this was happening, I heard comments around how tough my skin was to get the wire to break the surface because it was so thick and in bad shape. He placed filler near my cheek bones. To clarify - on the left side, the product was placed close to my cheek bone, but on the right, it was much higher, almost into my eye socket/under eye area. When I went to see another doctor for some help to fix it, he said it was about 8mm higher than the other side. Additionally, to help 'blend' the filler on my cheek bone, he had deposited a nickel sized circle of filler in my tender under eye area. Both were distinct and prominent, and not blended. I woke up with two black eyes, the right one still has discoloration under it 3.5 months later. For our entire holiday, I could not be in any photos - there was no concealer or makeup that could cover up the black purple bruises I had for a week, eventually becoming green and yellow. We spent the entire holiday with ppl making 'funny' comments about my husband beating me up, unable to wear sunglasses or driving glasses, and unable to sleep on my side. I did look into having the filler removed, but was warned that this can result in permanent sunken areas that would be worse than the swelling. As a result, I now have a cheekbone that is unnaturally close to my eye, next to a lump directly under my eye. It makes me look exhausted, with bags due to the discoloration and if I smile, the product stands out in an unnatural way. I look older, puffy and uneven. The worst part of this entire process is that I have no complete family pictures of our holiday. The second worse is how Dr Dagan responded to the level of dissatisfaction I expressed upon return from vacation. I received an offer of a free facial, as well as an offer to try and fix it. The 2nd plastic surgeon told me to absolutely avoid accepting any offer to remedy, since those attempts from doctors who do the kind of work I had received generally make it worse and compound the problem by adding more products. I emailed 2 additional times after that looking for resolution, and did not get a reply. I'm writing this review to prevent someone else who is aging, feeling a bit down about themselves and looking for a pick me up to visit this clinic. I've had botox and fillers over the past 12 years, and have never experienced anything like this, from the insults which felt almost like polite bullying, to the complete lack of skill. I have sent a letter of complaint to the Board of Plastic Surgeons along with before and after photos from the day after treatment, up until last week but I want regular women like me to hear how terrible an experience this was. Updated on 15 Apr 2019: I wanted to circle back with a status around my botched filler experience with Waldo Dagan. It has now been just over 6 months, and I still have a green/grey area under my right eye. The ‘cheek bone’ that he added is still too high and encroaching on my lower eye area, which I believe is causing the constant bruising. I have to use a thick, multi layered concealer to offset the darkness. Additionally, because the bar shaped lump of filler is too high, it makes my face look puffy and swollen, and distorts my eye area. Other doctors have told me that due to the large amount of filler, it will take 12-18 for it to absorb. I still have not heard anything further from this doctor, other than the initial offer of a facial. I have no words around the impact that this has had on my confidence, or the number of questions I have received from folks who do not realize this was an elective, cosmetic procedure. I did finally explain in full to my husband, who is absolutely livid about the lack of professionalism and dangerous behavior by Waldo. If anyone wants to see photos pls let me know and I will share privately. Pls pls pls do not put your health or your self esteem in the hands of this predator. He is all about the money, NOT patients. Zero accountability or compassion.
