I had liposuction 14 years ago in NY at a medspa - I was somewhat content but through the years I noticed it was uneven, and there were a lot of lumps that were making me feel less than positive about my body. I found Dr Martin and he nailed it!!! I am walking around after four weeks with shirts that don’t cover my butt anymore and have a new lease on life!!! I have always worked out but to no avail in that area. I am also on the small size, 5’6 and 119, but this one area would not get better. Now I am so happy!!
Dr.Martin did my breast reduction and all I can say is going to him was my worst mistake. Had complications after my surgery which he did not have an answer for or took the time to address. Told him I was extremely unhappy with my results, since my breast look 1000 times worse and he did not care the response I got from him was the look fine. I am now looking to have a revision done thanks to the poor work this surgeon did.
A quick call to your insurance provider to verify that breast reduction surgery is covered under your unique policy is likely the best place to start. Your insurance company should be able to tell you if this surgery is covered and the specific information they need from your surgeon to determine medical necessity. You should also verify that the plastic surgeon you would like to see is in-network with Cigna. Once you have had a consultation with your surgeon and it is determined that you are a candidate for surgery, they will request prior authorization which can take several weeks but usually no more than 60 days. Breast reduction can be a truly a transformative surgery. Best of luck!
