I have been in the aesthetic business for quite some time and I was in need of some coverage to my crown. I was vaguely familiar with the big names in this industry in the Chicagoland area. Dr. Panine always had an impressive reputation so I set an appointment. I met with Stewart who gave a comforting and very comprehensive consult. I met with the Dr. I liked his approach and was impressed with the before and afters. I received 2500 FUE to the crown in August and now in March I am very happy with the added coverage and I no longer can signal low flying planes with my bald spot. Thank you Doc and Stu.
I really wanted to do something about my receding hairline but I wasn't sure exactly what could be done. I researched many different doctors and looked their results. I decided to go with Dr. Panine because his results looked more natural than the others. I arrived at his office, it was a nice office- very clean. The staff was friendly and the wait time wasn't very long. I had my initial consultation with him and discussed the different procedures and what results I could expect. We even discussed the healing process and what would happen on the day of the surgery. He was very professional and explained his answers in great detail, so I was convinced that I had made the right choice and gave them my deposit and scheduled my procedure the same day. Just an FYI, I waited about 9 months to post my review to see what my end results would be- I couldn't be happier my hairline is like I was in my 20's again.
I had my first FUT procedure for 2000 grafts by a well known respected surgeon in Chicago Illinois. At the 3.5 month mark, so far I believe I see promising results. I also use biotin supplements to enhance the hair growth process along with olive oil and some other oils. Hopefully hair growth continues. Updated on 31 Oct 2017: Updated on 9 Jun 2018: One full year has past and I can finally see the full benefit of the surgery. It has been a mostly positive experience from beginning to end. I have seen steady growth since month 3 and now that I'm certain the surgery has worked for me I plan to get the crown filled for my second surgery in the next few months. I was skeptical the surgery would work to my expectations, so I only decided to have the hairline transplanted and filled. Although I did have slighly higher expectations I can honestly say I am happy with the current results.
I had a hair transplant of about 3012 grafts on May 2005. New hair was visible for a while, but it is sparse and I'm unhappy with the looks. I dont remember how many grafts were put in the frontal area of head, I had quite a few in the vertex area too, where so far I haven't seen any growth or changes. I'm now over 30 month after surgery. Last year I went back and have another surgery. This time they did 1685 most of them in the front area. I was happy for about 6 months. Now I look like if nothing was done. What can I expect from this point on? What are my chances of having further improvement? Can I sue the doctors? I dont want to spend more $$$ if I just going to see resuklts for only a few months :-(
