QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Is a thread lift the right option for my concerns or will it be a waste of money?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

For a round face shape patients and for patients looking for a more narrow jawlines by reducing volume in jawls area, less rounding/volume directly on buccinator muscle and lifting/tightening on upper cheek area to help achieve a V shape face. What has become more popular in our clinic in London, UK is V lift, Korean technique to provide exactly that; narrow and delicate jaw lines and fuller cheek.

What this technique produces is unique and cannot be compared to dermal fillers or any other non surgical treatment available.

33 y/o with fat loss under eyes, drooping right side & indentation after Restylane Lyft twice therapy, threading? Halo? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi Lisa

The right side indent on your cheek area is mediojugal fold, this is addressed by careful placement of dermal filler directly in that area using a cannula.

When I carry out tear trough dermal fillers, my assessment includes cheek volume to see how displacement of tissue in cheek adds to under eye hollowness. The treatment often requires cheek augmentation and tear trough treatment for best results.

What's the best non-surgical long term treatment option for nasolabial folds and marionette lines? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Your smiles lines are mild and easily treated with dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid type). The dermal filler brand would be selected by your provider accordingly. I consider the dermal filler option as a short term , as results typically last for 6 months. For a more longer term approach, thread lift using mono threads (various brands available) on upper, mid and lateral part of cheek would help to provide a more natural tightening, with results lasting approximately 15-18 months.

Can Thread Lift Tighten the Skin Under the Eyes? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

From your photographs, I can see a very small and thin amount of swelling. The swelling may become worst with dermal fillers. Likely to improve with simple microneedling with PRP, this would be my primary treatment for mild cases. I find that undereye bags definately improve with mono threads. The number of threads and side of threads wouldd be determined at your consultation. All the best.
