IPL Totally Changed my Skin. Oklahoma City, OK

I literally just tryed Fraxel on a whim. I was in the doctors office getting laser hair removal when I found out about this. I paid $1800 for five treatments (spaced a month apart) the same day with only reading a pamphlet about it. I'm so glad I took the gamble! I had a blotchy T-zone, large pores, unevenly combination, semi sun damaged skin and I no longer have those problems just after 1 treatment. Great thing about Fraxel is- you see results IMMEDIATELY! Luckily, I'm only 28 so wrinkles weren't a concern but this laser clears those up as well. I cannot wait to see what my face will look like after the 5th treatment if the 1st already changed my life! Updated on 21 Mar 2016: IPL not Fraxel!!! I'm sorry. Updated on 6 Jun 2016: Well I finally made it! The magical 6 week post op date. Now I can finally work out and live my life normally. Am I tho? NO lol I still wear my compression garment and Spanx every night as long as I humanly can. I also wear my waist cincher to work if I'm wearing a looser shirt. I plan on doing this foreva. Lol literally. I have lost 5 inches in total so far in my waist because of the dedication so now I'm addicted to results. Plus, it seems to help with the bloating. I still drown myself in Bio Oil after a shower and cover my scars with it and a different scar cream in the morning and at night. Now my scars are almost gone thanks to those oils/creams. Still a tad numb/tender on my belly but my butt is 95% back to its original softness so I'm excited. My boyfriend definitely appreciated that. LoL I also, out of habit, sleep on my stomach but I drive completely on my butt and sit on it as normal.

Fraxel Treatment for Serious Acne Scarring - Oklahoma, OK

I 20 years old and have had my acne scars for about 5-6 years. I bought a package of 5 treatments. They were having a half off deal for the month of april so it ended up being 2500 for all 5. Yesterday was my first treatment. They put a numbing cream and left it for about 25-30. They then wiped it off and started the procedure. They gave me what looked like a vacuum hose that blew really cold air, so that if my face was getting uncomfortable i could put it whereever i needed throughtout the treatment. It hurt but it didnt hurt that bad. It might be for some people but if youve endured tattoos then you should be fine. The cold air made a HUGE difference( i didnt use it on the first half if the treatment). Afterwards it felt like my heartbeat was going to jump out of my face haha. I could feel the blood pumping like crazy. My face really hurt at that point but they put a cooling cream on, then wiped it off. then they gave me an ice pack. whew that felt good! They were very honest and said i probably wouldnt see results after the first treatment. Said i would be able to see a vast difference after the 3rd treatment. (So for all the people who stop at one, keep going and see if it makes a difference. Maybe the doctors didnt tell you slim results after number 1.) My face was really red and still hurt. After about 2 hours after the treatments the pain was completely gone, and about 8 hours later all of the redness was gone. ( they told me i would be fine the next day and it was true!) My face did feel really rough and if you looked really close you could see tiny white dots on my chin and cheeks...looked almost like a ton of whiteheads...but this morning they are mostly gone and my face feels much smoother. will probably be fully back to normal by tomorrow or next day. still no redness or pain! again, i dont see much results but im not even stressin. i have my next appt on may 21st. I forgot to take before and after pics but i will next time. Plus the doctor that i am going to takes before and after pics for you each treatment and then you get to see after its all done! i will be updating so keep tune!

Smart Lipo - Oklahoma City, OK

I wanted smart lipo to tighten my skin from the previous two lipo procedures. Lipo will make your skin lumpy. Smart lipo was not only a rip off, but my skin did not tighten any! I am so upset with myself for spending that much money on something that was not only painful, but didn't work!

Dark Spots, Small White Bumps Under Eyes - Oklahoma City, OK

I have had four fraxel treatments over the past 4-5 months. I was hoping to get get smoother skin across my checks where I had some enlarged pores and acne scars. I also had a small area a pregnancy mask I wanted to get rid of. The first session I had was great. It made my skin smoother, pores smaller, and got rid of the pregnancy mask. The 2nd session they turned up the laser. At the 3rd session I pointed out to the docter a dark spot I had under one eye that was not there before. She did not act like it was a big deal and prescribed HydroQ4/Ka2/RAO.05/TMCO.05%. She told me to put it on my face every night before I went to bed. She then told me she was going to turn the laser up even more for the 3rd session, so that I would get really good results. When I went in for the fourth session I had brown spots under both eyes and a little bit on one cheek. The told me the were going to use a diffrent laser for the 4th session that would help more with pigment. It did fade the spots a littl bit. I have also noticed a few very small white bumps unders my eyes. It was more painful each time, but was tolerably for me. I usually had a dew days down time. My skin would stay dark and would peel for about a week. They did numb my skin before hand and gave me a device that blew cool air on face during the procedure. My questions for everyone is will the bumps go away? If I had another session done at the setting it was the first time, that seemed to get rid of the pregnancy mask, would it get rid of the dicoloration that I have now? I am starting to get very worried and need advice. Should I go to a dermatologist and see what the think? I am overall so far happy with the texture of my skin, but am very upset about the discoloration. Can this evr be fixed? I have a dark complexion.
