If an infection develops following a theadlift and leads to abscess development, it’s best to remove the threads completely (as your doctor did) and treat the infection with a course of antibiotics. If the thread is left insitu, the infection would likely persist and cause more scarring. Subsequently you should give time for the infection and swelling to subside and wait till healing is complete before doing any further procedures. You may consider threadlift again but I would suggest trying to find out what triggered the initial infection and take measures to avoid it. Another option to consider for skin tightening or lifting is Ultherapy or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) which is noninvasive and has no risk of infection.
Juvederm is an FDA approved dermal filler that is very safe. Done properly, by a qualified injector and with proper sterility, it should not cause scarring.
Emsculpt has various indications but based on your question, I’m assuming you are keen to maintain your abs. 1) No it doesn’t. Bear in mind, Emsculpt has greater intensity then your regular exercises hence it contracts your muscles harder and faster; which then stimulates more muscle growth. This does not subtract from your regular exercise, though as you mentioned, it cannot match the intensity of Emsculpt hence it will not stimulate that level of muscle growth. (2) Yes it would. Refer to the statement in (1). (3) As normal exercises cannot compare the intensity of Emsculpt, this may cause gradual weakening of your muscles over time. However this is subjective, each individual is different and there many people out there who can have abs without Emsculpt. (4) I generally recommend a maintainence session of 1-2 sessions every 6 months.
This is a bit of a controversial topic. Some doctors may do it, some won’t. Scientifically, there’s no research specifically showing that FDA approved fillers are harmful at this time but there’s no scientific research to confirm their safety as well. Personally, I wouldn’t advocate this.
It's not possible to advise accurately without photographs. In general, fillers can help to add volume and may be useful if your undereye areas are sunken. Chemical peel may help improve the tone if you had dark eye circles.
