Just because you developed a lump a few years ago, it does not mean the same thing will happen again. Development of lumps depends on 3 factors: 1. Type of filler used. There is a higher likelihood of developing lumps with thicker fillers. For this reason we try to use softer filers for lips. 2. Injector experience. This applies to all cosmetic procedures but it is even more important with lip injections. 3. Type of needle used. Bigger needles tend to release more fillers at a time, therefore increasing the chance of lump formation. For this reason I use micro-droplet technique using insulin syringes. Hope you have a better experience next time.
HI SB, It is difficult to see the degree of hollowness from these pictures. But if there is any hollowness it can be injected with Restylane to correct the hollowness. Correcting the hollowness will lead to improve in discolouration most of the times.
