It looks like you have a darker skin tone.  I would suggest you check with the technician or speak to the medical director of the clinic to make sure that the laser they have used on you has an indication for your skin type.  Most laser hair burns are superficial and should heal accordingly over time.  However, the possibility of a permanent scar still exists.  It is important that you keep these burned areas well hydrate with aquaphor or similar to reduce the chance of scarring.  At our clinic, we usually add a skin healing cream such as epidermal repair from Skin Ceuticals.  

Although it is safe for the CoolSculpting applicators to be placed over old scars with no related hernias, I usually work around them if possible.  For instance, for a midline scar extending from the umbilicus to the lower abdominal area, I would use 2 CoolFit applicators on either side of that scar.  Some of my patients complain of outpouching of the skin and fatty tissues above and below their lower transverse abdominal scars typically seen in C-sections.  In these instances, I use the CoolSculpting at and above the scar, and I would use Body FX or Mini FX for areas below the scar for additional finer body contouring.

The Venus Viva protocol requires a series of treatments, and we recommend to start with a series of 3 treatments.  We typically treat patients 4-6 weeks apart.  We use Viva to treat dyschromia, textural irregularities of the skin, large pores, fine lines, rosacea, acne and acne scars.  Although the main therapeutic effect of  Viva remains in skin resurfacing, it also has some anti-aging benefits with skin tightening and increase in collagen formation to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  We normally combine Viva with another handpiece available on the same machine, the Diamond Polar, to achieve better anti-aging results.
