I cannot express how happy I am with Dr. Adam. I got a tummy tuck, lipo 360, lipo up to the under arms, lipo on inner thighs and BBL on December 8. Starting with the initial consultation, he made me feel so comfortable. He used the latest technology to show me a before and after of how the results could look. The day of surgery, Dr. Adam went above and beyond to achieve the results we talked about. The doctor was very honest that recovery will not be easy the first 3 days and boy was he right. I loved his honesty and although it was tough, I am very happy I did the surgery. You’ll see some before and the after is at two weeks post op. I am extremely happy with the results now, I cannot imagine once I’m fully healed. Updated on 11 Oct 2024: Update: I’m still very happy with my results. I cannot thank Dr. Adam enough. My self esteem has gone way up, I feel sexy, pretty and everything fits!!! If you need a sign to get a mommy makeover, this is it!!
Great staff location and the clinic. Clean esthetically well kept. Girl are nice as the nurse Stephanie is super kind. Dr Adam bed side manner is easy going. I had a BBL lipo 360 My results are fantastic however due to my own butt deformation I will need to go back for a revision. My butt deformation is called Vbutt and it sucks. It has to do with my anatomy. It’s not an easy surgery to fix. Recovery: it is extremely difficult and painful!!!! No exaggeration. It is very painful, lipo is not usually painful but Dr Adams is aggressive. He sculpted me and I am very satisfied of the art he did with me. I was very squared, with no curve nor thighs. He gave me all that and some. I was sent home with a foley because he knew I would not be able to get up from the pain. It was no walk in the park. But all worth the pain!!!!
Dr Adam has the biggest heart! He cares about his patients and listens. I had my surgery yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! I can't wait to see the results once I heal! So far the pain isn't terrible. Very tolerable!
I was referred to Dr. Adam through a friend who also had a BAM. After the interview I was confident in my choice with him for my lift and augmentation. He used the 3D imaging and retrospectively it was a very accurate depiction of how it turned out. I wanted to not go “too big” and wanted them “on my neck” as I described to him haha. He listened and offered his opinion. We met in the middle and I am so glad I listed to him. Now that my breasts have settled, I am so happy with how natural they look and feel. I had to be patient with the areola complex size and position but once they fully healed and settled, they are perfect. Initially, he did offer to go back and reshape and reposition the areola complexes if I wanted “at no [surgeon’s] charge”, but I am happy now. He also extended the incision into my axila so that I would not have a “dog ear”. This in combination with the bra bulge lipo really created a nice contour and side boob! The office staff is very professional. Dr. Adam takes his time and answers your questions. The nurse is available post operatively by text if needed. All around I had a great experience with tolerable pain by day three. The price was WELL WORTH IT compared to some surgeons I’ve consulted and used.
I’ve wanted boobs forever. But I also wanted to wait until after I had my kids and finished breastfeeding them. Todd Adam at Coastal Plastic Surgery in Webster, TX is outstanding. I tried on sizers, he measured me and did computer aided photos of what I could expect. I know I wanted bigger than 400 because they just weren’t wide enough to cover my chest area. I tried on 520’s and thought they were alittle too big. So it was between 445 and 485. I went with 485 and I am so glad I did. The pain though is almost intolerable. I take Percocet, Valium like clockwork. Along with stool softeners and antibiotics. I recommend Dr. Adam to anyone in the Houston area. He’s awesome and his staff are great as well. I’ll post more pics in the days to come, but as of today (day 2) I am in ??????with the new girls. Updated on 2 Oct 2018: Post op pics. 485 mod plus under. Completely happy with results. Was debating between 450 and 485. Glad I went with 485. Stats: 5’8”, 140lbs. 3 kids breastfed. Taking Percocet, Valium, stool softener, antibiotics. Updated on 5 Oct 2018: I am trying to upload pics again from 5/6 days post op. Updated on 5 Oct 2018: The pain is still intense. I drove to work today and I should not have. I am very happy with the size 485 mod+ unders. The incisions are painful and I’m doing the massages I was instructed to do. I am just waiting on the D & F hoping it will elevate some of the pain. Updated on 10 Oct 2018: 11 days post op. I am loving my new size! Thanks so much to Dr. Todd Adam at Coastal Plastic Surgery in Webster, TX. Updated on 17 Oct 2018: I am really happy with my boobs. My ps said for the massages to squish them each separately with both hands for 10 sec then pull up to raise the nipple and push in and down for 10 sec six times a day. I am doing this and I think it’s helping. I still have some pain but it’s manageable with Advil or a Valium here and there. Lol. They are still high and one is dropping faster, but I think they will look awesome one day!
He was very soft spoken, not pushy on extra procedures.. addressing only what I was consulting about, caring to what I was asking for. I had a BA w/crescent lift. He gave me his professional opinion on my size and shape. He gave me an option to go bigger but gave me pros and cons on the size difference.. and the same with smaller sizes because of my body. I'm a mother of 3, breastfed and used to be over weight, after losing over 100lbs and done having children, I wanted my boobs back. I was a 34 full B low C before my surgery. Dr. Adam couldnt have been more professional. He made me feel very comfortable and confident in achieving what I wanted. I am now 2 weeks post op with Natrelle 560cc gel subpectoral implants and even though they havent settled yet I am already loving them! He has no idea the confidence hes restored for me and how much I really appreciate him as a Dr. I would recommend him to everyone if I could. Such a wonderful Dr. P.S... I will probably post pics of my progress from start to finish once my breasts have fully dropped, I've been taking weekly photos. Plan on posting around the 6 month mark.
I have been wanting BA for at least 10 years now! Finally I am going through with it, something I wish I would have done sooner! ???? I am 2 days away from surgery 6/22 at noon! I am excited and obviously nervous. I pretty much have all my meds ready. But Im wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what else i should buy to help with pain and swelling and whatever issues they went through so I can be prepared. Lol anyhoo I'll keep you updated as soon as I get out! Updated on 25 Jun 2018: Engorged, high and hard as a rock.. the pain meds are my best friend. Tightening in the cheast. Just started to messages and they seem to make my breast feel so much better. Also bought this arnica creme that helps with the nipples burning sensation. Icing my breast as well. Not really wearing my bra hoping that they will drop faster. Any advice is helpful! Updated on 5 Jul 2018: As you can see almost 2 weeks post op. Still carrying them super high!! I cant wait for them to drop!! I am so happy with my results and for my decision on going with silicone 650 high profile under the muscle. Super happy I went with Dr Todd Adams because he jut knew what would look great on me and he's super nice!! As you can see even though im only almost 2 weeks there is no crazy boob Separation like i have seen on others. It was one of the things I told Dr. Adams I did not want!! At the moment i've just had a sooting pain in my inner left boob. Which is normal just been icing it and massaging it. Its getting better each day. Today i got my tapes taken off and My dr said I'm waterproof and can go swimming! Very satisfied with Dr. Todd Adams!! Highly Recommended Updated on 5 Jul 2018: Super happy that todays appt went great!! Dr. Adams was surprised to how well I'm doing.. I had little to no bruising.. My incisions look great! I've been released to go swimming and working out my lower half.. have to continue my massages of course 4x a day.. other than that everything is great! Updated on 13 Jul 2018: Just hit the 3 week mark.. I feel great about how things are going and I have kept up with my massages 4x a day. I am not wearing any sports bras during he day, just at night. Boobs are still high i wish they'd go to their home. Lol patience is key! Nipples are very sensitive and my incisions are healing great, which i forgot to take a picture of. ???? but overall I a fine. Updated on 15 Jul 2018: I feel good. Weird thing is now it feels like Like i have some air when I message the girls. Not sure if anyone else experienced the same thing. ??????????? Nipples are super sensitive, i have no pain at the moment. I feel like my right is dropping faster than my left. U cant tell in the pic but I can feel it. Other than that no problems. Incisions are fine. Updated on 3 Aug 2018: Well at week six I expected to be dropped and fluffy.. not the case. Guess my thick skin has slowed my dropping and fluffiness down. Which is ok, just taking longer than I expected or wanted. I still have nipple sensitivity and I'm one month away from my check up with my PS. I have gone this whole time without a bra per my PS request, but i still sleep with a sports bra only because Im scared that if I don't (In my mind) I'll start getting boob separation. But thats the only time I wear it. I don't lay on my sides and i still sleep in an upright position, only because thats the most comforting for me. Other than the typical zings to the nipple, which I use arnica gel for, i've had no complications and my incisions look great.. i also still massage my breast everyday.. Updated on 9 Aug 2018: Couldnt be any happier with my results. Super Thankful that I didnt have a bad experience!! I love my PS!! Updated on 22 Sep 2018: My girls finally dropped and settled. Im very satisfied with the outcome and get so many compliments now. ???? I love them!!
Have used this website a lot, so I figured I would share my experience so far to potentially give some insight to others. Im 26 years old, Caucasian female, 5’5 140 lb. I fluctuate between 130-140 and have stayed in that range for years. For about 4 years I eat a gluten free, meat & dairy free diet and only do about 3-4 days of cardio. I’ve always had a muffin top & thicker arms that I dislike. Hence where the lipo comes in. Areas liposuctioned: upper & lower abs, upper arms, flanks, pubic, inner & outer thighs Pre op: I had crazy anxiety over the anesthesia and what the pain would be like afterward. I do not handle pain well. I thought I would have anesthesia awareness and/or die during the surgery. I spoke to the anesthesiologist about my fears before the surgery and he relieved me (and also gave me the “happy cocktail”). I quickly relaxed and didn’t care about anything at that point. Thankfully none of my fears happened during surgery and no complications occurred. Surgery: was told 7 lbs were removed. Took about 2ish hours. They left the catheter in and already had me in a compression garment and just left my hospital gown on instead of having me change clothes (thankfully). As soon as I woke I was out of there pretty quickly but already was in intense pain. Recovery: it’s been a week and two days since the procedure. The pre op appointment and instructions given really did not thoroughly prepare me for how intense the pain & recovery process is. The first day was not too bad probably because I was still pumped with meds from the procedure. However days 2–5 were very painful and I could not get around by myself at all and was really regretting my decision for getting this surgery because of how miserable I was. My appetite was low but After eating and at night time was the worst due to swelling and being uncomfortable. No position felt comfortable and I felt like a swollen blimp. Overall the most pain is generally when I’m going from resting to motion. I did not have drains and had only minor leakage on two incisions the first 24 hours and that was it. My range of motion with arms and legs is still very limited, I can’t stretch or reach comfortably. I’ve also experienced bad underarm chafing and my puts are extremely tender to touch with all the damaged nerves there. My walking is a little awkward and slow still too. Constipation sucked, bad. The anesthetic & pain meds slow your organs down, eat fiber starting on day one with lots of water. Meds: was prescribed oxycodone to start, then hydrocodone to transition to, cephlex an anti biotic, promethazine for nausea, and flucanazole for yeast infection( I asked for this because I’m prone when taking anti biotics, & I did wind up getting one). I felt like a zombie on these meds the first 5 days. Felt so yuck and out of it. I got an intense ringing in my left ear and headaches from the meds. The promethazine was nice to have even when not nauseated just so I could be drowsy and sleep. Compression garment: has been ill-fitting in my opinion as the sides bunch up and get really tight and also the legs keep riding up rather than staying in place resulting in swelling where my legs poke out. The garment also does not cover my upper arms or sides of my chest and instead is wrapped in the ace bandages which does very little for the swelling there. My surgeon did not put an ab board or lipo foam under the garment (not sure why) but instead He put gauze to catch some of the leakage. The garment is really tight on my sides and abdomen especially where the zippers are on each side. I had to unzip it a little to get some relief, which really didn’t help much. Was instructed to not remove this garment for 2 weeks. Recommendations: if you’re getting a lot of areas done like I did, have someone with you for at least 3-4 days to help you (and make sure that person is patient & kind). I have no idea how I could have ate or used the RR without someone helping me. Ask for a catheter, so glad I had one & left it in for almost 2 days because I could not get out of bed. Buy an extra compression garment for when you need to wash one. Make sure you have a clean area and prepare your bed with extra sheets in advance for when you get out of surgery. Braid your hair before the surgery, if long to get it out of the way. Have someone care for young kids or animals for a couple of days (I have 2 dogs and could not have them around me till about 3-4 days for fear of them jumping on me). Get miralax for constipation and otc tylenol. Remember that every day will get a little bit better and you’ll regain strength daily. Your body is healing when sleeping, get good rest! If you feel you have a lot of energy be careful and don’t push yourself! You will swell and be in pain if you don’t take it easy. Diet: Do not eat sodium!! Sodium will be your enemy and it’s in so many foods, check your food labels. Stock up on pineapple and arnica sublinguals. Have access to tons of water! Eat lots of protein & fiber. Take flax seed daily. Eat dried apricots, yogurt and coconut water. I have been staying away from fats even the healthy ones (nuts, avocados, etc.) and processed sugars due to articles I’ve read. The surgery pretty much forces you to have a healthy diet because the discomfort and swelling is unforgiving with one slip up. Also, Drink apple cider vinegar water daily. Post op appt.: scheduled for 2 weeks after procedure. I still have steristrips on and was told to not touch them & they’ll be removed in the post op appt. I’m nervous about this appointment due to the discomfort I’ll probably endure. I still can’t see any results yet due to swelling and the garments and probably won’t for a few weeks. Also not sure if I’m going to get a lymphatic massage in the weeks to come,
My breasts are still super high but it was well worth the money, and I love them more than I ever did my old boobs! I got 560cc in the left and 600cc in the right, Moderate Plus Cohesive Silicone "Gummy Bear" textured implants with full anchor lift. He also included for no extra charge, an areola reduction & some lipo in my sides (a pound of fat out of each side), under the arms, in the boobs (150cc taken out of the left & 50cc out of the right during the lift), under the breasts, and in the back where the bra band goes. I've been in a lot of pain that lasted nearly 3 weeks, I still feel the pain but it's not nearly as bad, it's improved drastically in the last few days!
Hello. I have a cyst that slightly shows in my left cheek and drives me crazy. I saw several doctors about this before picking Dr.Adams. I really like how straight forward he is! At our consultation, I told him what I wanted...which was a face lift (with cyst removal), tummy tuck and perhaps a BBl. I figure that if I'm getting put under, I might as well get everything done I want. He quickly shot my idea down, but suggested I do a fat transfer to face and BBL. We discussed removing the cyst and I was very hesitant about having my cheek cut into, however I did decide to get it removed (after all it was the reason I decided to get surgery and my husband wasn't going to let me have anything done otherwise...lol). My consultation was in March and he suggested that I gain wait before having my procedures. I have gained over 10 pounds (thanks to a week at an all you can eat and drink resort) and am trying to gain as much as possible before the 19th. This has actually been the hardest part. I like eating clean and exercising and have felt very sluggish without the activity and eating so poorly...but it will be worth it! I went in for pre-op on the 13th and feel very comfortable with my choice. I will update this review after my surgery! Updated on 20 Apr 2017: So I had my procedures yesterday and feel like I had an intense workout. Took Tylenol and Valium last night to help me rest (I'm anti narcotics). Not gonna lie, I was up at 12, 4 , 5:30 and got up at 6:30. The side sleeping is hard, since I'm a back sleeper! Sitting up today with help from my booty buddy and feeling pretty good. I'm swollen, mummified and ready to take out my catheter (but it was a blessing yesterday and last night...highly recommend). And hungry! My face isn't as swollen as I thought and is the least painful area on my body. I will keep updating y'all. PS. I couldn't be happier with my choice of Dr. They made me at ease from the moment I walked in and I can already tell my results are good. Updated on 20 Apr 2017: Trying to post better photos! Updated on 21 Apr 2017: So today I finally got to have a shower! Yay, it felt so good. I'm still just taking Tylenol and feeling sore. The most difficult thing is staying off my bottom! Yesterday I fell asleep and woke up on my back. My right butt cheek was almost totally flat. I had my friend massage it and tried not to cry. Luckily it filled back out! Otherwise I feel really good. Since I'm not taking the pain med, I made a bm last night and this morning (have read of this taking over a week). I'm trying to walk around, to help reduce my swelling. And the swelling! Eek...I look pregnant. I Updated on 1 May 2017: I meant to update more regularly but sometimes life gets in the way! So I will do my best to cover what has happened. On my 3rd day of recovery, I had to go to my office. Ugh, this was a very unpleasant experience. I was tired and sore and I think all the walking around was too much. The next day I felt like I had been hit with a car. I was also not sleeping for more than an hour or 2 at a time, so I don't think that helped. At night I would take a couple of Tylenol and half a Valium but still sleep eluded me. (I didn't take the pain mess because there has been addiction in my family...but would recommend taking them to others). Every day I made myself get up and walk around. Starting at 10 minutes every hour and increasing by 5 minutes every day. At 8 days out I was still very swollen and having much pain in my groin area. At this point I decided to buy a smaller faja and start getting massages. I have now had 2 massages (I stay for 2 1/2 hours) and can tell a huge difference in how I feel and a reduction in the swelling. Also, the tighter faja feels so good on. I'm switching back and forth, since I only have the 2 but definitely prefer my new one. Last night was the first time that I slept without any medication and only woke up to change positions and use the restroom (BTW...I am passing gass and making 4-5 bm's a day). At this point I'm still VERY swollen but otherwise feel at about 90-95 % back to normal. Wednesday makes my 2 week surgery anniversary and I have my follow up the next day. The hardest part of daily life at this point is not being able to sit down (I take my booty buddy everywhere...to drive, to eat, church, etc. lol!). I will say that at this point, I am extremely pleased with the results that I am seeing. Updated on 11 May 2017: Yesterday was my 3 week mark and I feel SO much better! I had my post op last week and was told that I could start wearing Spanx (which are so comfortable). I actually still wear the faja during the day, since I like the tight feel but sleep soundly in the less constricting garment. I am at about 90%. Still some swelling...especially in my groin and knees, but way better than I was a week ago. I am back to all my normal activities with the exception of workouts (only doing light cardio). I feel like I'm healing well and the access points are not very noticeable (the scars on my stomach are from a laparoscopic hysterectomy and subsequent hernia repair.
It is possible for the Areola to be positioned too high following breast augmentation. This could be a result of your anatomy pre-operatively. If the lower half (or inferior pole) of breast skin stretches, the breast "bottoms out" resulting in a nipple areola complex in a higher position than desired. If the inframammary crease (under the breast) has been disrupted, this may also result in a higher nipple position. These conditions can be repaired surgically, but you it always wise to be patient for a period of 3-6 months before rushing back to surgery. Areola size usually increases following breast augmentation.
