Procedure was easy. Some pain associated even though underarms were numbed using lidocaine w Epi. The day of the procedure that evening was painful. Next day no pain. I’m at day 9, still lumpy. I don’t wear deodorant I can’t tell a decrease in hair growth yet. But the are Still sore. Updated on 8 Jan 2019: Axilla hair is less dense, no odor, sometimes pits are clammy but mainly only after hot yoga Will see after 90 days for the full effect. I am super pleased. I do still have some lumps and banding that I am massaging out. SUPER WORTH IT!!!
I needed to have a hysterectomy, thankfully my ps and gyn were willing to work together to make this process smooth and as easy as possible. I am currently about 14 weeks out and my abdomen keeps getting flatter as well as my waist is still shrinking. I will say it was pretty painful, especially the first 4-5 days. I was thankful for my 2 night stay in the surgery center. My advice for anyone would be to make sure you have someone to help take care of you. It was worth every bit of pain though, I feel like a new person, it's amazing.
Exactly 12 weeks post TAH with abdominoplasty, this surgery is the final part of my mommy makeover. I had prior breast implants placed over the muscle per Dr. Mickel 15 years ago using saline implants. We discussed at that time that I really needed a lift, but being so young if I wanted more children it could defeat the purpose and diminish my ability to breast feed. I'm so thankful I waited. After having my second child at 36, I gained a lot of weight, then after over 3 1/2 years of hard work lost 122 lbs. My 40th birthday is the end of January, so I decided to gift myself this. Prior to this surgery my breast were very heavy, saggy and actually made me look heavier. My bra size was at least an E cup. I'm not sure of size yet as I haven't gone bra shopping, but they're significantly smaller, Even with 475cc silicone gel implants. I'm a little less than 2 weeks out but I couldn't be happier. I can not wait until I'm all healed to see the final product. The pain experienced was significantly less than my tt with tah, after 4 or 5 days I really didn't need anything more than Tylenol.
I am so excited and nervous.. I go on Tuesday for my surgery... I am having a breath lift with implants, liposuction, tummy tuck, and chin liposuction... I am ready to have my body back! After 2 pregnancies, 2 c-sections, lots of stretch marks, and really saggy breasts.... Its time!!! I also have a tattoo on my stomach (around my bellybutton) that I got when I was about 14... My biological father signed for me to get it just to spite my mom... He never thought about the lifelong affect it would have on my life.... I hate it!! And being that I have not spoken to him in 3.5 years, I cannot wait for this to be OFF of my body! Wish me luck and I'll post more after the procedure... I will also try to answer any questions anyone has! Updated on 26 Feb 2017: The recovery hasn't been too bad. My only concern is the swelling and the fact that I wasn't given any type of binder or bra after the surgery! The first 5 or so days were really bad... I had a breast reduction and lift with implants, tummy tuck, and liposuction of my stomach and chin!!!!
