Visited Dr. Love’s office to discuss breast augmentation. The staff was very knowledgeable, as well as Dr. Love. They helped me pick the perfect implants and size for my body type. The surgery went smoothly and my recovery has been hassle free. All appointments have been easy, smooth and enjoyable. Staff is always friendly, smiling and truly care about my concerns and well being. I would recommend Dr. Love and his staff for all body improvement needs/wants.
Dr. Love came in for my consult and provided me information above and beyond. I wanted a full C cup. Honestly, after 4 children I needed something. He recommended a bit larger and after 5 years of having the implants I can say he was right and I’m happy I listened to him. Best decision I could have made.
I’ve never had an sort of surgery before, only my wisdom teeth. Dealing w Dr. Love was a pleasurable experience. I had a breast augmentation w silicone implants. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do for my body. He even pointed things out I never knew about my own body, like a pointed chest cavity. He knew exactly what size for me to not be overpowering and really cares about his work. Dealing w the staff was enjoyable as well! I highly recommend him! I can see how he wouldn’t be for everyone personality wise, but I really enjoyed him.
This was an amazing clinic. The staff and Dr. Are fantastic. My surgery and care were stellar.I will tell everyone about this clinic.I am very pleased with how i look and feel. They took the time to explain to me what will happen during my surgery, and going in just to have a consult he took the time to make sure we were both one the same page.
Dr Love is the best of the best! From my first consultation and continuing thru my follow ups, the staff is amazing - knowledgeable, informative and extremely kind and professional. I am beyond 100+% satisfied with my gummy bear results and the quality of care I received. Dr Love & his staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and totally satisfied. Dr Love creates a masterpiece with every procedure. My breasts are completely natural looking, which are the exact results I wanted.
I absolutely loved everything from my first consultation to my surgery and follow up visits Dr Love is so friendly has an amazing personality makes you fill so comfortable! I have and will highly recommended him to everyone i know and will definitely use him for any further work i May desire.
Dr. Love is a fantastic doctor, very kind and personable. Fantastic staff and nurses, as well! I would recommend him for any surgery that you might be considering. After my twin pregnancy, I was left with a lot of issues in my stomach area, including some hernia’s. Dr Love was able to fix that, as well as issues I didn’t even realize were a problem, such a my severely stretched (separated) stomach muscles. I feel like a new person. People would constantly ask me if I was pregnant before, no matter how hard I worked out or how well I ate. Dr Love said in cases like mine, there is nothing I could have done to improve the “roundness” of my stomach (due to the separated muscles) - that surgery was the only option. I am so happy that I went with him vs. a general suegon to simply fix the hernia’s. I got the best of both, and I would recommend him to anyone. Professional and kind from start to finish.
Wanting to Get healthier and feel better about myself but the roll of fat hanging as my stomach was to much to take... after three c-sections two being vertical and one horizontal I was a mess. I guess I should have asked!) Updated on 17 Aug 2018: Having the tummy tuck absolutely changed my life! I am still currently trying to lose the rest of my weight but I feel very good about myself and I am loving shopping again ! 10 months ago I had no clue that my surgery was going to change my life but it absolutely did Funny thing is I’m actually thinking about getting a breast reduction!
I had all three of my children c-sections and was cut vertically and horizontally so my stomach was a mess! Afraid to move forward on a Tummy tuck for many years but after much research decided to go for it! It was the Best decision I've ever made! I also decided to have liposuction done on my inner an outer thighs. He also did liposuction of my flanks as this was part of the tummy tuck. The pain was controlled and was tolerable, i was up walking around the night of surgery. I stayed over night and the next morning was seen by Dr Love before going home. Recovery is 4-6 weeks depending on the person. I wore a garment and binder given to me by the doctor for the first 6 weeks and now am wearing store boughten spanks. If you follow the Doctors instructions exactly as he says you will do great! I put it off for to long because of fear, but you have don't have to! Theres nothing to fear! You will be glad you did it!! Updated on 19 Jan 2018: Everything is going great! I still get swelling but saw my surgeon today and he said that’s pretty normal and I can expect that for up to a year. Still say it was sooooo worth it!! I’m so happy with the results ... I have lost 25 pounds so far and my doctor said 13 of that is from my hard work ???? He took about 12 pounds off from the tummy tuck and thigh lipo
I never really thought about having breast surgery until I had kids and my breasts changed so much. I'm 5'8", 135lbs. before kids I was a B, during pregnancy/breastfeeding a C, but after breastfeeding they basically became empty sacks of skin. And now, I wear a size A bra, the kind that is supposed to make you look 2 cup sizes bigger and they don't even fill it up. So I'm really probably a AA :( I'm completely flat with no bra or a sports bra. I am embarrassed to be naked in front of my husband, though he never makes me feel that way, it's just me. He has been so supportive of me wanting to do this though, and helps me feel better when I'm feeling unsure or down about it. At my consult Dr. Love did my measurements and I was 11.5 bw. He said that we could do 295cc mp, 300cc hp, 345cc hp, or 395cc hp. I am going with Mentor memory shape implants or "gummy bear". We ended up choosing the 345 hp and with my amount of sagging I will need a lift too. Very nervous about that part, but I know it needs to be done. This is so not like me to do a review like this, but this site and so many women's reviews have helped me along this journey that I felt like I had to :) Anyways only 4 more days to go! Yikes!!! Updated on 28 May 2017: Just a few more before pics Updated on 30 May 2017: I can't believe I'm less that 24 hrs away!!!!???? I added a few more pics to show body proportions. I usually wear size 27 or 28 in jeans if that helps any. I'm getting my bags packed and trying to remember all the things I use every day so I can get them out within reach. I will try to update as soon after as I can, my surgery is set to start at 1:45pm tomorrow and is supposed to take 2 1/2 hrs. Updated on 31 May 2017: Getting some soup and headed to the hotel. Haven't really seen them myself, but was told everything went really well. But I can tell there's something there where there wasn't before lol Will try to add photos later when I feel a little better :) Updated on 1 Jun 2017: I am absolutely in LOVE with them!!! Can't wait to see what they look like when they get all healed up and the swelling goes down!! Dr. Love truly has a gift for what he does!! Updated on 1 Jun 2017: I was so very nervous heading into the surgery center. I had read some of their reviews and a lot were not great, but that wasn't my experience at all!! Every single staff member that I encountered treated me great and I didn't feel like I was just a number. My pre-op nurse said they work with the same people everyday and a lot of them have been working together for 30+ yrs. When they called my name they brought me back to a little room with a curtain. I changed into a little gown with shorts, compression socks (knee-highs, super sexy lol), non-slip socks over those and a hair net. They started my IV with fluids and gave me an antibiotic through the IV. The nurse then asked me when my last period was and I told her Sunday. So she asked if I was still on it and if I had pads or tampons in. I said yes I have a cup, a Diva cup. She looked at me like I had a third eye lol. She said I'm sorry I'm old, I don't know what that is, so she ran around asking all the other nurses what a diva cup was. We had a pretty good laugh :) They don't want you having tampons in surgery for the risk of toxic shock syndrome if you should forget its in there. I told her there's no risk of TSS with the cup, so she approved me to keep it in for surgery. (On a side note I was actually worried that after surgery I wouldn't be able to move my arms well enough to take care of it, but it was no problem at all) After that Dr. Love came in and drew on me, and you can tell just by watching him work that he is a perfectionist and he knows what he is doing. His bedside manner is different, he's kinda serious, he's not there to entertain you, he's there to do a great job and do it the best he can...which is what I really want anyway :) But I do think he cares about his patients in his own way. I then walked back to the OR and laid down on the table. Dr. Hoover was my anesthesiologist and he was such a sweet, soft-spoken man that did his job well because that's all I remember :) The pre-op nurse had told me that Dr. Love's patients rarely have much pain at all. She said that in the OR he likes to put a lot of numbing cream on the muscles and calls it "marinating". I don't know, but my boobs are still numb :) Pain hasn't been bad unless I've overdone it with my arms, which doesn't take much to do, but once I rest for a good while it usually goes away. Anyways so far I am sooo pleased!!!!!!!! Updated on 1 Jun 2017: What a difference!! Updated on 3 Jun 2017: Day 1 post-op- was feeling ok pain wise. No pain in the boob area, but pain in arms when I used them too much. I tried to eat the continental breakfast at the hotel, I had planned on eating something light like fruit and yogurt, but their fruit was so gross and slimy...I ended up nibbling on a waffle and a sausage link. Which was a bad idea. That was right before my post-op appointment. When I got to the doctors office the nurse started taking my bra and gauze and stuff off of me and I instantly smelled whatever it was that they put on me in the OR. I told the nurse I was going to be sick. She got me a bag and I puked right there in front of her and my husband, bare chested lol But after that, I felt soooo much better. And I was really scared that puking right after surgery like that would hurt so bad, but it didn't. Lesson learned-no heavy foods yet. We went home and rested. I ate a lean cuisine mac and cheese....wish I would have got 20 of those, but no, just one Day 2 post-op-I was cleared to take showers with the water to my back. Supposed to clean incisions with gauze and antibacterial soap like Dial. It felt SO good! Even was able to shampoo my hair a little bit. Not much of an appetite, so I think I ate 2 progresso chicken soups (wish I had stocked up on more bland foods, wasn't prepared for being nauseous for so long) and a couple yogurts. Also, talked to the nurse and she said I need to be drinking lots of water and if I haven't had a BM by now to start taking laxatives 3x's a day until I do. Updated on 3 Jun 2017: Day 3 post-op- *TMI* well the laxatives worked, had my first bm since before surgery, so that was good. I've been on Percocet every 4 hrs, Advil every 8 for swelling, and an antibiotic twice a day. Think I figured out that the Percocet was what was making me nauseous and giving me headaches, so thru the night I cut back on them and haven't had any today and no nausea, pain, or headaches yet! Fingers crossed!! Also had one cup of coffee this morning which I think probably helped with my headaches. Besides my boobs being so swollen I almost feel normal, I know that all can change quickly, but I'm thankful for it right now :) Updated on 4 Jun 2017: I don't really have any pain, and the tightness has gone down so much since just yesterday. No pain meds for over 24 hrs. Arm movements are getting easier, still taking it very slow though. Doctor wants me to drink 3 liters of water a day and eat 100 grams of protein a day for healing, which has actually been hard to get that much protein in so far. So my husband grilled me a steak last night and it was so good and I think I got the protein covered for yesterday for sure!! :) pics with my old bikini, don't mind the wrinkles from my compression bra, bruises, and the mess ;) Updated on 5 Jun 2017: I just realized this morning that some of what I thought were wrinkles from my compression bra are really just old stretch marks from under my breasts that are now puffy. I was just curious if anyone else has had this happen and if they get less puffy once the swelling goes down?? I don't feel like they're that noticeable even if they don't though. My boobs look way better than they did before and if I have to trade those for puffy stretch marks, then so be it :) I do have wrinkles around my areola incisions, but I think they will flatten out as those scars heal. Also I still have some yellow bruising around areola incisions and purplish bruising around the other incisions. I am starting to get what I think are the nerve twinges. Not painful, just kinda funky feeling. Scars look good I think. My one week appt is on Wednesday and I think that they are going to have me start using BioCorneum on them after that. I am feeling really really good today. Getting my kids back today from my mom's, I'm soooo excited!!!! It is just way too quiet around here without them!! We visited them last night and my littlest, who is almost 20 months kept wanting me to pick her up and I cried on the way home wishing that I could :( I feel like that has been the hardest part for me is not being able to do stuff that is normally no big deal. But I know I need to rest and give my body time to heal. Updated on 6 Jun 2017: Nothing has changed very much since yesterday except that I am very tired today. I'm sure getting my kids back yesterday has something to do with it, but man!!! I feel like the tiredness is catching up to me now! Updated on 7 Jun 2017: Had my one week appointment with the doc today. Had some stitching removed. The nurse said that from time to time some stitches may work their way to the surface and that they would just cut them off when they did. I still have to wear my compression bra for at least another 3 weeks and I've still got to wear these pads that they gave in my bra to protect my incisions. Doc said everything looked fantastic!! Got the go ahead to start using the BioCorneum 2 times a day on my scars. It's got the consistency of a thick lip gloss. Can't wait to see if it makes a difference!! I'm still supposed to kind of take it easy for another 3-4 weeks. Other than that, life is getting back to normal which means I probably won't be updating quite as much, maybe if I have time. I'll try to shoot for once a week or if something comes up :) Updated on 11 Jun 2017: Just wanted to note that within the last couple of days some of my nipple sensation has come back and when I take my bra off they become erect now, which they didn't do at first. Not all the way back to normal or anything, but it's a start. Also on a side note I've had really flaky skin, which is not normal for me and I think it may just be a side effect of the meds I was taking. I exfoliated like crazy today and I think it's better now. Just wanted to give a heads up :) Updated on 13 Jun 2017: I went shopping today and couldn't resist trying on bras. Before I was a 36A, so I tried on a 36C...it fit pretty ok, was almost spilling out of the cup though and the wire didn't seem to quite go all the way under my boob, so I tried on a 38D which really fit well, but was and uncomfortable bra. And tried a 40D which was too big. Anyways I really have not idea what size I am and thinking I need to be fitted. Where are some places to get fitted besides Victoria's Secret?? (We don't have one close to where we live) I did get a couple of zip up Danskin sports bras from Walmart. I grabbed size L at first to try on and had to squeeze it together to get it zipped and then it unzipped itself and popped back open....never had that happen before lol. I ended up getting a XL and a 36C. Updated on 14 Jun 2017: I'm feeling really good and rarely have any muscle pain when reaching or stretching now. My breasts feel a little strange when I bend over, almost like something is moving under my skin, but I think it may just be the nerves. Other than that, everything is starting to feel almost normal with my body. Sleeping-I am naturally a side sleeper, so sleeping on my back was hard to get used to at first, but now I'm sleeping fine on my back. I slept propped up with a reading pillow and 6 more pillows, under my back, arms, and head for the first probably 7 days and now I'm just using one pillow and sleeping flat on my back. I'll try to do this for at least a full month before I try side sleeping again. Scars-I am so thrilled with how my scars are healing and I think the BioCorneum that I've been using twice a day has a lot to do with it. I'm thinking about starting another review just for it, it's amazing!! Bras-like I said in my last post I'm SOOOOO confused about bra sizes now. I tried using some bra size calculators and got some very different results.... my measurement under my breasts is 30 in and over my bust is 36 in. And even when plugging these same two numbers in different calculators I got anywhere from 32C, 32DD, 30DDD, 30E, 32F/FF....I never knew finding a bra would be so complicated :( Updated on 16 Jun 2017: My back started hurting over a week ago. I thought I just pulled a muscle from sleeping propped up. I kept slipping off of my stacked up pillows in my sleep and waking up with my head and neck bent up on the pillows and the rest of my body flat on the bed. So I started sleeping flat on my back and tried to rub the muscle out. But it started hurting even more last night to the point where I can't move my neck without it hurting and sometimes it even hurts down my arm like a pinched nerve, so I think that my back may be out. I've only gone to the chiropractor one other time, but I'm going today... I hope he can fix it, it hurts!! Updated on 21 Jun 2017: Week 3!!! I don't think I've talked too much about the size yet and just wanted to say I have absolutely NO boob greed!!! Size was one of my biggest fears before surgery. I didn't want my boobs to scream boob job, but I also didn't want to regret not going bigger. I am so so happy with them!! They don't look huge in clothes, but if I want I can still show them off depending on what I wear. And naked they feel really big to me, which is fun :) I'm getting sharp, random nerve pains in my breasts and sometimes nipples every now and then. They are starting to get a bit softer, especially on the sides, but are still pretty firm. I'm a little worried that they won't soften up like I would like them to, but I keep trying to remind myself it's only been 3 weeks. I've been feeling so good and have to remind myself to take it easy. I think my muscles have really loosened up, especially in my arm movements. Also, my back is feeling normal again which is awesome!! My scars haven't changed a whole lot in appearance from last week, but they are definitely getting flatter and aren't near as raised up as they were. Updated on 21 Jun 2017: Updated on 28 Jun 2017: Not a whole like lot has changed since the last review. Breasts are starting to soften a little. The scars I feel are doing fantastic!! They're softening up and getting less visible. I can't even feel them when I'm putting my scar cream on them. And if you want to see close ups of my scars just look at my other review :) I've been trying to keep them updated on there. It's been fun to fill out clothes and not having to shift and adjust my massively padded bra all the time. Nothing really else to report except that I have been really breaking out the last couple of weeks, which I haven't had a problem with that in years. Another friend that had surgery said the same thing happened to her after. I just wondered if anyone else had any experience with that? Anyways if anyone has any questions just ask :) Updated on 28 Jun 2017: Or anyone else who doesn't want someone getting their phone and seeing all their naked boobie pics...haha! I've been hiding all of my pics in an app called secret photo album. It's not perfect I'm sure and I know there's more of them like it, but it keeps my kids from stumbling upon my pics when they play with my phone. It requires a PIN number to open every time. Just thought I would share because that was one of my biggest hang ups when thinking about doing a review!! Updated on 13 Jul 2017: I'm at one and a half months!!! Can't believe how fast time has gone by since my surgery! I have been the most concerned about when and if my boobs will soften and they have within the last week or so started to get so much softer!! I'm so excited!! I saw my doctor last Friday and he said that around 8-10 weeks they should really start to soften up and be very soft by 12 wks. He also told me that they will get closer together because my actual pocket is closer together. I have noticed they are easier to try to squish together, not quite all the way yet, but waaaayyyy better than before!!! Before I really couldn't get them to budge much at all lol! I feel really good about myself and this has boosted my confidence in ways that I didn't even know I had issues with. I can confidently wear lingerie for my husband now, which is such a big step for me as I had stopped even trying because I would put something on and it wouldn't fit right and I just felt I looked silly, never sexy. I am just so happy and so so thankful!!!
Yes, it is not recommended to have Fraxel until acne is no longer active. Once it is not active, Fraxel is great for any acne scars you might have suffered. SkinCeuticals has an excellent acne system and products for post Fraxel care as well!
From the Thermage Procedure consent form (provided by the company itself to our practice) states : "Thermage cannot be performed on patients who have an implantable pacemaker, an implantable cardioverter/defibrillator (ICD) or any other electronic implantable device."
Submuscular (under the muscle) is preferable. This allows for the patient’s own tissue to better cover the implant, thus helping prevent rippling and show-through of the implant’s edge. Also, placement under the muscle allows for clearer mammograms and more natural aging of the breasts.
