I am 56 and correcting my bite to help preserve my teeth. My treatment is 42 trays, currently in number 21. Previously my lower front teeth were being chipped due to impact by the uppers during chewing. That no longer happens now that my bite is partially repaired. Cost is $4500 with insurance picking up $1100. In the long run it will be a real cost saving if my teeth are preserved. I had a severe overbite and crowding in lower jaw, causing "bunny rabbit bite". I never had orthodontia as a child. You are never too old to improve your health and well being. My dentist said it is reticululous for a person my age to have orthodontia. I am getting a new dentist.
