The photo may show a mild allergic or irritant reaction to some product in your daily routine. Roasacea is less likely. A detailed history, and physical exam by a dermatologist, along with patch testing to check for allergies, should give an answer.
Acne may temporarily flare, within first few months on Accutane. The amount of dryness as a side effect varies from person- to-person. Some experience minimal drying. The dose is dependent on weight, usually 1mg /kg/ day to 1.5 mg/kg/ day. You may need a higher dose if you still have many blackheads. Discuss this with your prescribing doctor.
Some families are more likely to grow moles, than others. Color can range from normal skin color, to dark brown /black in those with darker skin types. Certain moles may darken with pregnancy, or oral contraceptives. Most true benign moles, such as dermal nevi, or compound nevi, have a root, and may grow back if shaved off. Excision with sutures is more likely to be curative, but may leave a larger scar. Benign moles do not need to be routinely removed. If the growth is irritated by clothing or shaving, then removal may be preferred. If there are unusual changes, such as rapid growth, change in border, color, thickness, then a biopsy is indicated.
