Hi ladies! This site has helped me loads prior surgery and post op! As our breasts are all different sizes prior augmentation thought I would add my review of a 34a flat chested 49yr old mum!Like most I was last in the queue for the boob department and checked out with not alot as a teenager disappointed is an understatement! Thought girls are meant to have boobs my other school friends had them but not me! Updated on 9 Apr 2017: The surgeon came to see me to draw on me in prep for surgery and said he will try the 310cc also incase of problems with the 325cc as they might be too big! At 4.10 pm approx I followed a nurse down to the theatre where I was greeted by the anethatist and looked like 8 people all gowned up ready to perform my surgery! I remember I kept saying to the nurse while I was being put under don't forget to tell him high profile that's all I kept repeating lol lol then I woke up back in my room very tired and very sore! I peeked down my gown to see if had got my boobs! And I remember saying oh hello! Lol lol! I kept falling asleep then till the nurse's and my partner n daughter came to see me! I wasn't with it at all I remember they didn't stay for long and can't even remember what time it was! My surgeon came to see me and assured me all went well and that i got the 325cc i wanted and they look fantastic! I kept drinking water throughout the night and the nurse came in to do checks which seemed like every 5 mins! Hence I didn't get any proper rest due to the discomfort of my new boobs and being woken by the nurse. I had a biscuit about 5am then a small amount of brekki but wasn't hungry! Lunch was a task too! My drains were taken out at 12 midday!(which I thought was going to be really painfull but it wasn't that bad) then I was allowed home around 2.30pm to recover. Again didn't sleep well 2nd night and was very sore to move around to try and get comfy propped up in bed! It's torture sleeping upright or slightly elevated even with 2 v shaped pillows! Dressings came off week after and the dressing gave me a blister on top of left boob which I must of caught while sleeping on day 4. Still quite painfull 9 days on and still feel bruised in places but still a long way to go yet! But I love them! I still can't believe I have them! Would I like them bigger? Hell yes! As they do get lost in clothes! But loving them!! It's nice to fill out a top and look like a woman! And after all those years of wearing horrible padded bras! Which I will keep as a reminder lol. I hope everyone else with surgery looming the very best of luck on your journeys xx Updated on 9 Apr 2017: I'm right handed and think looking at the pictures that my right side has dropped a little but left still in same place?? Updated on 30 Apr 2017: Hi all just an update on my journey! Found a lump! pea sized! next to right nipple! Had my 1mths appointment with the surgeon on Thursday and I have to go back in 2 weeks to check up on the lump! Hopefully it's just a blocked duct or another cyst! I had 2 cysts on that side but lower pole prior surgery which the surgeon was aware of as i had suffered in the past with cysts in my right breast! had to have mamagram prior surgery to check on the cysts but surgeon said to leave alone as going under muscle! But now a new lump has shown it's ugly head just praying it's just another cyst! Have had this new one 2 weeks! Waited over 30 years to have boobs and now not looking forward to the next chapter! My mum has had breast cancer in the past and a mastectomy just hope fingers crossed that I'm NOT next in the queue! Pictures show 1st bra from a 34a to a 36c as of today 1mnth post op! YOU WILL REGRET IT X Updated on 2 May 2017: Hi ladies I'm almost 5wks post op and noticed my left boob is fuller and lower than right side!?! Is this the drop and fluff process or is there something wrong?? ?? I'm right handed and thought that my right side would drop 1st!?!? If this in the dnf process??? or am I being an idiot thinking this to be correct??? Answers gratefully received?? Updated on 3 May 2017: Hi ladies 1 day away from being 5 weeks post op. Still get sore throught the day! Hardening pains and sore boobs when I get cold outside! Incisions get sore through the non wired bra I've started to wear so back to wearing incision tape during the day to try and make bit of a barrier! then no bra or tape while sleeping though no bra at night since I've had BA done was too painful! Hope all you other ladies healing well x Is the pains normal still at this stage does anyone know!????? Updated on 26 May 2017: Does anyone know how much for revision surgery??????Not happy with size! Will it cost the same as the 1st breast augmentation as wanting much bigger!! Updated on 7 Jun 2017: Hi all got a call today for the results of my biopsy on the new lump on right breast!!! It's all gd bn told it's nothing to worry about! But the strangest thing happened after my biopsy! I took the dressing off 48 hrs later and my right breast has now softened same as the left side and the lump has disappeared!?! I thought instantly that it may of bn a fatty lump and having it probed 3 times at the biopsy may have diminished it!? But I have to go back in the 26th June to discuss the findings but a great result overall it's not the C word! I'm just waiting now for the right side to drop the same as the left! God I hope it does drop!!!!
So, at the lovely age of 35 I decided o finally get my boobs done! Now don't get me wrong hey were never good boobs, never big boobs. My boobs made me sad all my life. The only time I loved them was when they did there most important job ever - feeding my two wonderful children who, are now, ages 15 and 10! By far the best deduction I've made! I'm currently 15 days post op :) Updated on 28 Nov 2021: After being incredibly unhappy with my breast after breastfeeding, and under development I finally decided to have my surgery! After years of resource I decided on Dr Sankar and the Nuffield hospital Leicester, and I'm incredibly happy with everything from beginning to now 15 days post op I'll insert my pre op pic and my pic today! I had 460cc over muscle, Nagor Impleo, round moderate profile. I was a 36 B I'm uk size 8-10 and 5 ft 2 9.8 stone! Updated on 16 Apr 2022: Wow what a difference 5 months makes! I’ve been incredibly lucky in my recovery. I had hardly any pain what so ever! My movement wasn’t restricted from the beginning and they dropped and fluffed very well! I am actually now an E/F cup depending on the cut of the bra. This is completely new territory for me and my brains not caught up that I’m a larger breasted women yet! I still don’t recognise myself as that yet we’re you guys the same? It’s all psychological I guess in time it will sink in! I’ve had to sell a lot of clothes and it’s a learning curve dressing them as I’m a UK 10 but my boobs are 12/14 this isn’t an issue though I’ve no issues in fact there perfect!
