I'll certainly be going back to see him!
Dr. Cung is excellent. He is very friendly and attentive to your concerns. He gave me fillers to the area under my eyes which were starting to become hollow, as well as my lips for some extra volume. I love how both have turned out and they make me feel more confident every day! Would highly recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Cung is excellent. He gave me fillers in my mid-face, as well as Botox in my forehead and my chin. He was professional, courteous, and answered all my questions. More importantly, he listened very well to what I wanted--and then augmented it with his expertise. I'm so incredibly happy with the result!! I recommend him very highly.
The masseter is a strong muscle that starts at the cheekbone (zygoma) and inserts at the angle of your jaw that aids in chewing. Injecting the masseters with neuromodulators can be an effective way to treat myofascial pain/TMJ dysfunction as well as soften the contour of the jaw when the muscle is too prominent. With regards to your concern, the nasolabial fold is a function of the mimetic muscles of the face and its fibrous attachments, which is independent of the muscles of mastication (i.e. masseters). Furthermore, the nasolabial folds is situated much more medial and distant from the masseter muscle, such that injecting it with neuromodulators should not worsen the appearance of your nasolabial folds. I hope this answers your question, and if you decide to get the injection, I hope it will help with your TMJ problem!
