Dr. Dionisopoulos and his assistant, Annick, thoroughly answered my never ending lists of questions weeks before, immediately preceding and with every visit after my mommy makeover; a breast reduction and full tummy tuck, including lipo in the love handles and beside the breasts. In the last year, I have become an even more active person (running Spartan races and hiking tall mountains), but all the diet and exercise did virtually nothing to reduce my breast size (about a 36E), or to remove my FUPA (apron, complete with stretch marks and a folded in belly button I haven't seen since 1999, aka my first pregnancy). Dr. D consistently demonstrated empathy, professionalism (without foregoing a good sense of humour), a wealth of knowledge and calm. He attenuated my fears, was conservative in his after-care (he immediately sent me to test for a blood clot at the slightest cramping in my calf, for instance), called the night after the surgery and took all my apprehensive, post-operative calls. Dr. D's soothing demeanor made the surgery all the more bearable. Post op pain was a 1-2 out of 10. They removed my drains (tummy only, I had none in my breasts) on Day 10 and it proved thoroughly painless. Annick took all my calls for regular after-care and patiently addressed all my concerns and explained each milestone to me. I am only one month post operative and feel very grateful to Dr. D for his attention to detail. My breasts are a redo (second time around, from many years ago) and this posed a greater challenge for the doctor. My breasts are truly fabulous (size, nipple size, sensation, scarring, etc.) and my tummy is coming along nicely. And I'm only one month out and still swollen! I can now walk for long periods, bend down to the ground, do isolated exercise for my arms and legs and carry my purse, or a small weight. No more shoulder pain (from my heavy breasts). Only a solid base on which I can now build. Within a few weeks, I will be able to ramp up my training and my goal is to lose more weight and do the consistent work in getting strong and building muscle endurance, once again. In the pics, you may see some wrinkling (clothes, the binder, etc) and black spots (tape residue I did not immediately removed, as the lipo areas were too tender). As my title stated, then only thing I regret is not having done this years earlier. I highly recommend Dr. D. You get a great human, an awesome team and excellent results. If you have had a nagging, incessant urge to have a mommy makeover and you can afford it, please do yourself a favour and it now, rather than later. Might as well enjoy the results for that much longer. Updated on 25 Nov 2019: I am 52 years old, 5'4 and have 2 kids (by c-section). Incidentally, I only have one scar, now. Dr. D pulled up from the bottom and down from the top of my stomach, to form only one scar, from hip to hip.
I am a 46 year old who breast fed 3 children. My breasts were dropping and I choose to do a breast lift with implants. I went to one consult before meeting Dr. Dionisopoulos. The first moment I met him I knew he would be my choice. He was attentive, very professional and able to put me at ease. His staff was exceptional as well. From the first appointment to the last everything was so well organized. My out come was very good with little down time. I was back to work in a week and back to the gym in 2. My only regret is that I did not get as large as I had expected. Even so, I am happy with my very natural looking results. I go for my final follow up in 3 weeks and the scars are barely noticeable. He is an extremely skilled plastic surgeon.
Hello, My name is Caroline Faille i am 33 years old Before having kids my breasts were actually present and had good form but after having 2 kids my breasts turned into a disaster. It came to a point where i was embarrassed to show them around my bf and it made me feel so down. He and I knew that we had to do something about it. My sister in law just recently got hers done by Dr. Dionisopoulos and only had wonderful things to say so i just had to go see him for a first appointment. The only thing about me was that i am TERRIFIED of surgery and hospitals anything in that area so this was a big challenge for me. I have to say my first time at Medispa I was impressed ! The secretary’s warm welcome and big smile and Annick being such a big help with my anxiety’s and making me feel comfortable and Graciela helping me make the right decisions and then there was Dr. D ! He gets to know you and you can see that he really cares and takes the time to answer all your questions i didnt feel rushed into anything he knew i was someone who was really anxious But he knew how to make me feel comfortable and he would make me laugh it was really a wonderful experience. His staff is amazing from the Medispa to the surgery room everyone was super nice to me i felt like a princess! I love the way my body looks today and i want to thank everyone from Medispa for making that happen xx
One year ago I got a male breast reduction performed by Dr D. To this day I believe it is the single best decision I have ever taken. I was recommended to select him by other health practitioners including other Plastic Surgeons who recognize him as The expert. He and his team answered all my questions and made sure I was taken great care of before, during and after the procedure. The results exceeded my expectations as well as what other surgeons said they could provide. I am a 30 y.o. man, for the first time in my life I can genuinely say that I feel confident and happy with the way I look.
From booking the consultation to the follow up appointments, Dr. D and his staff took wonderful care of me. The staff was very attentive to my needs. Appointments and consultation were easily booked. The procedure itself went very well, was back at work two weeks after. It was a lot less painful then I originally envisioned.
After doing a lot of research on breast reductions, I was referred to Dr. D by a relative of mine. I scheduled a consultation, which took about 1-2 weeks. After meeting with Dr. D and his team, I booked my surgery for 3 weeks later. Dr. D and his team made me feel extremely comfortable. They answered all my questions and there were no surprises the day of the surgery. The surgery went very smooth. All the surgical staff introduced themselves which was very nice. I was in at 9am and out before 2pm. The first 3 days after the surgery were the most difficult. Thank G-d for Oxy. After about a week I felt really good and I was not in any pain. The most discomfort I experience was when I went to sleep and got up. I don't usually sleep on my back, but in this case, I had to for a few weeks. FYI a pregnancy pillow will help you sleep so I recommend you buy one if you are getting this surgery! Overall, I had a great experience! Any time I had questions, I called or emailed the clinic and they answered me right away. The follow up appointments were quick, with barely any wait time. Dr. D and the Medispa staff were great to work with! They are all super friendly, warm, and flexible. I should have done this surgery 5 years ago! This surgery was worth every penny and changed my entire life. I have no more back/shoulder pain and bra shopping is a breeze! If you are on the fence, book a consultation and you'll have all the info you need to make the right decision for you :)
Dr Dionisopoulos really is a very talented Doctor, I had visited many doctors prior and I felt the most comfortable with him, he was very knowledgeable took the time to answer my questions and made me feel I was good hands, and he was definitely true to his word, he took good care during and post procedure, I am more than pleased with the results and he diligently followed up with me post procedure. Overall I really enjoyed being a patient there, he did an amazing job and his whole staff was very professional.
My experience was amazing. it was my first time having anything done. And this doctor was realistic. Attentive and super hands on. After my surgery he phoned me in the evening to see how I was doing. I was very comfortable with DR. D. Highly recommend him. You are in great hands!! I am very happy with the choice I have made and loving myself 1000 times more than I already did. Thank you !!
Dr. Dionisopoulos is a rock star, in terms of plastic surgeons. He worked along side my breast surgeon, during a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. It has been 3 years since my surgery and my girls looks amazing! I highly recommend any breast cancer patient to go see him. I am attaching an image to show my breasts, after I had my tattoos done.
everything you are listing as issues related to your breast size tells me that you would are a great candidate for breast reduction surgery. despite your young age, there are more and more girls undergoing breast reduction surgery around your age to relieve themselves of these debilitations. in fact, in my practice i often see moms whom i've performed breast reductions on , say in their 30' s or 40's, bring their daughters in for consultation for a breast reduction in their teens and twenties having seen how the procedure improved their quality of life. the moms often say that they would'nt want their daughters to to go for decades what they went through. the considerations of surgery at that young age include scarring, breast feeding , changes in the breast size and shape with time etc. these are all issues to discuss with your plastic surgeon.
it appears from your photos that your implants move to the side when you flex your chest muscle or move your arms. coupled with the issue of pain then i would assume that in your reconstruction, the implants had been placed beneath the muscle of your chest. this explains the issues you are having. for my patients that have these problems i offer a "plane change". this is an operation where the implants are moved from the place below the muscle to a new space above it. the muscle is then reattached to its original location. limitations with this technique can be visible rippling or folds of the implants as the cover on the implant is thinner.newer impants with more cohesive silicone can address this.
the best judge in this situation is your surgeon and it seems that he is on top of the situation. in general undergoing surgery rather than "going back to square one & the recovery time" will actually speed up the healing process in that the hematoma is delaying things. it is a quicker solution and may avoid other complications such as the cuts opening up and draining the blood unexpectedly.
mini tummy tucks are recommended in very few cases overall and almost never when there has been such a significant amount of weight loss. in order to fix the entire abdomen, from the top to the bottom a full tummy tuck is needed. men often do not need correction of any tummy muscle looseness so the procedure is faster, less painful and the recovery is quicker. see a certified palstic surgeon for an assessment. good luck and congratulations!
short answer: it is possible. but you say in your question that you havent had revisional surgery to address the size differences between the flaps.this should be done before any consideration of implant placement.
