I’ve been going to Dr Desai since 2019 for Botox and fillers. I’ve also seen her PA on one instance. Both are great! Her practice has expanded so much since then and it’s obvious why- she’s friendly, doesn’t pressure you, and is very approachable. My only complaint is that it’s hard to get in on Fridays but I don’t think that’s in anyone’s control.

I went in for fillers, having never done them before, and Dr. Tarina Desai made me feel super comfortable during the consultation. She answered all my questions before I could even ask and took the time to explain exactly how she planned to address my concerns. When I came in for the procedure she walked through every step and made sure I wasn't in any pain throughout the appointment. It was clear she was taking the time to make sure everything was placed correctly. I was very nervous about making any changes to my face and I am so glad I came to Artavi!

I purchased a series of three SECRET RF for full face and neck with Dr. Tarina Desai in the Houston Heights. My goal is to tighten, especially jowls and neck. People were complimenting me on more refreshed look after only one session. Dr. Desai is the key to comfort in this process. She is kind and considerate and constantly checking your pain level. I have had the Halo laser procedure before and Secret RF is one tenth of the pain of Halo. Dr. Desai is one of the most honest providers that I've ever met. She has tested all services that she provides on herself. If they don't work, she doesn't offer it to her patients. Additionally, she doesn't pressure sell. She has also spent quite a bit of time on additional education and seminars on her procedures that I believe far outweigh what other providers are willing to do in the cosmetic world. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SECRET RF & DR. DESAI!

This doctor used a filler that was not appropriate for the depth of the lines I needed filled as confirmed by a second and third opinion when there was no result from her work. In addition, her skill level was subpar as I should have seen more correction from the volume injected. She also had another patient waiting and was rushed, having to leave mid-procedure to see the other patient, such that her office does not book appointments correctly with sufficient time to consult a new patient and inject the areas for which the appointment is booked. This practice and this doctor are absolutely unprofessional. There are so many options for excellent patient and customer service so please go elsewhere to save yourself angst. Note also, Dr. Desai is a family doctor--not a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. I encourage you to see such a doctor instead. I saw such a qualified doctor afterwards, and he was able to quickly understand the flaws in her technique and her wrong choice of product and immediately fix her substandard work.
