Being a woman of a certain age and not willing to accept that my face wasn't looking as young as my mind ,body and spirit, I sought to bring equilibrium into my life. Fortunately when I was a young woman suffering from an acne like eruption,a friend in my gym class highly recommended her dermatologist. This is how I came to meet Dr. Sylvie Khorenian. Over the coming years my respect and trust for Dr. Khorenian has grown. There came a time, that I broached the subject of my dissatisfaction with changes that were occurring on my face. I asked Dr. Khorenian "What would she suggest for me, knowing of my very delicate, sensitive skin history." We discussed the goals that I'd like to achieve. She told me and explained why I was not a good candidate for plastic surgery that I had been considering. She clearly informed me of the options that she would recommend. She never pushed for procedures and always guided me in choosing the simplest path to my goal. I was continually pleased by her conservative procedures, which left me looking younger. I was still me, only refreshed and naturally looking many years younger. We started a regimentation 15 years ago. Over those years we fine tuned a program that keeps me looking as young as I feel. I'm so grateful for the day that Dr. Khorenian came into my life.

If you have an extra $1200 to spend and VERY realistic expectations you will be happy with this procedure. I did the top of my buttocks where I had some bulges that hung over my panty line and wouldn't go away no matter how much exercise I did. Overall the area I had treated was about 12 inches long and 3 inches wide. I am slim and in shape, so I don't have large pockets of fat. I can usually feel a 1-2 pound fluctuation in my weight so I'm able to notice a small difference. If you are overweight, this is probably not a good procedure for you, because the results won't be noticeable. The treatment lasted 4 sessions, and I definitely noticed a difference by the second time- the skin felt tighter. By the fourth and last time the whole area was smaller. I followed the instructions about drinking tons of water before and after and exercising. I don't think there's a point to doing a procedure and not following their instructions. So I went above and beyond because I wanted the most results. Its's now December and so far the results are good. When I wear dresses that used to bulge out on my lower back I noticed there is loose fabric there. Cons- 1) It's definitely expensive for the small area they treat. I have other small pockets of fat I'd like to do, but I won't be doing them unless the price comes down. 2) It helps remove fat and tighten skin but the outer part of the lower back they also treated had loose skin and no fat, and it hasn't improved the skin there at all. 3) The doctor couldn't answer if it is permanent or not. So I'm not going to be getting any more Vanquish until I see whether it is. If you keep your expectations realistic, you should be happy.
