Dr Gopathi has been treating my Melasma with micro needling for the last year and also doing my Botox and filler. As a woman she understand my beauty concerns and I also love how she has the patience to explain every detail of the procedure to me.
Dr. Gopathi is amazing! I’ve had fillers put in my lips twice and Botox twice as well. Both times she was so personal yet professional. She truly listens to what you’re looking for and offers suggestions that are right for what you’re looking specifically looking for. Her prices are a little more expensive than a medical spa however I know Im in great hands with Dr. Gopathi. She’s trained medically and understands the anatomy of my facial structures, it makes a world of difference trusting who is doing these of procedures on my face. I don’t have any wrinkles in my forehead or between my eyes any longer and my lips look natural and SO plump!
I went in to see Dr. Gopathi for lip fillers! I had several friends that had done their lips with her and they all looked amazing! I had lip fillers done in the past but I never had anyone take the time that she did. She is truly a perfectionist and my lips look perfect. I get so many compliments and I am quick to send them her way. I have not only done my lips with her but also had the miradry procedure done. It has changed my life!!! I am a busy mom of 3 and when I learned that miradry is not only a procedure for excessive sweating but for anyone that wears deodorant on a daily basis I booked my appointment right away. SInce the treatment I have not worn deo, and I've had zero sweating, no odor and it is one less thing to worry about as I head out the door. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. :)
Most fillers (including Juvederm) come in 1ml syringes. If you are trying to correct deeper wrinkles, then you will need more product but if the wrinkles are more superficial, then you may not need as much. When at your consultation, your doctor will tell you the correct fillers that are recommended for your smile lines, lips and chin. The same type of filler may not correct all those issues properly. You've asked a difficult question because there is honestly no right answer since everyone's anatomy is different and their goals are different.
You can expect to see results immediately as dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, work differently than Botox, which can take up to 2 weeks for final results. Keep in mind that there will be some swelling and possibly even bruising. The majority of the swelling goes away in less than one week, but in some patients it may take up to 2 to 3 weeks for all the swelling to be gone.
It's absolutely normal to have swelling after lip filler, it can take up to 2 to 3 weeks for all the swelling to subside, but the majority of the swelling is gone within 4 days. Not only can the swelling be due to the product used (as it can pull water towards it), but also due to the trauma caused by the needle. It's too soon to tell if the corners of your lips are asymmetric. Best of luck!
Companies who make Botox and fillers are prohibited by US law to sell to individuals without a current and active US medical license. The reason for this is safety. It has taken all of us doctors on RealSelf many years of training and education to properly treat patients. If you wouldn't build your own home by hand because you don't have the skill set, the same goes for injecting yourself.
Hi! It's totally normal to want to test something out, so it's reasonable to try Botox only in one area (maybe starting with just the 11s). It'll take about 2 weeks to see the full results and I always ask my patients to come in at that time, so if you like the results you can always add areas at that time.
