As a new mom, time is not always on my side. Those days of getting rejuvenating facials are unfortunately only saved for Mother's Day and vacations. With that being said, I just knew I wanted to give my skin the pick me up that it needed as well as treat myself to something that was long lasting. I have been struggling with some stubborn melasma, very deep glabella lines and my least favorite, painful cyts on my chin when it is that time of the month. I have spent a small fortune on neck creams, face creams, blemish tools etc but I felt like my skin deserved a revamp so I started to do research. After researching the procedure itself, I knew that Fractora RF wasn't going to be "painful" per say but it would not be that relaxing rejuvenation facial that I was used to. With that in mind, I was lucky enough to come across Dr.Susan Forster, MD. We had a great consultation and she asked detailed questions about what exactly I was looking for. She made me super comfortable! Dr. Forster literally gave me a play by play of how the machine worked, explained how the RF would also help with my acne scarring and overall she got me more excited to get started when I was initially a little nervous. The procedure itself was as I mentioned, not "painful" but a little uncomfortable. I have to reference the fact that I am a wimp when it comes to even getting my eyebrows threaded and I have no tattoos so I would say I'm a little bit of a baby. ) After placing the numbing cream on my face we got started. The sound of the machine beeps every-time you have an area done and it is a slight pinch. The only true sensitive area for me was on my cheeks. Dr. Forster made sure that she asked me how I was feeling and checked to see if I needed a break numerous times. She was so great to talk to and honestly put me at ease the entire time. Once I was completed with the session she walked me though the after care procedures. I actually had an event to go to that night and was a little worried that I would be super red but by the time I went out (without face makeup) it actually looked like I just got a little color. So with some mascara and lip gloss I was able to still be in public without scaring small children. The next 3 days for me were where I experienced a little more of the redness and what felt like rough patches. The skin was basically in a healing process so I made sure I kept my face clean, used the healing ointment provided and just let time and that RF work it's magic. Within a week my skin felt tighter, a lot smoother and my cyst scarring was faint. I am about 1 month out from the procedure and I can't wait to go back for my next appointment. I will be focusing on my neck area the next go around and this is something that I will be certain to continue to make time for. I would trade getting my highlights done just to get this treatment, that is how much I love my results and experience. To close my review out, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Dr. Forster. She followed up with me that evening on how I was feeling and even a few days later. She was funny, energetic, sweet, knowledgeable, caring and overall truly made my experience perfect. So excited for round 2!
Great experience. Great Doctor!! Professional office. The procedure was explained in a comprehensible manner. The procedure itself was done in a way that made me feel comfortable. All my post menopausal symptoms have subsided. Bladder function is much better and sex is more enjoyable.
Drs Susan and Judith Forster are honestly the best doctor team I have ever experienced! I opted to have vaginal rejuvenation after having 3 huge babies. The results were well worth it! The whole experience was seamless, I went into the office and was out within 1.5hours and the healing process was fast and I was back playing with my 3 young boys but feeling more youthful down there! Even though my husband never said anything about how my vagina looked I FELT insecure and wanted to do something about it. Another huge benefit is I no longer pee when I jump on trampolines or cough! This procedure I would recommend to ALL women!
It would be helpful to have an exam to see where your laxity and concerns are located .If you vaginal canal and bladder are your major concern I would recommend an internal procedure In our office we use Votiva which is an FDA-approved device that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy waves to heat and stimulate the cells of the vagina and vulva (external skin) to increase collagen and elastin fiber production. As a result, vaginal moisture, blood flow and elasticity increases. If your main concern is your external appearance labia, and introitus I would recomend FemTite. In the past we used to do labioplasty which I tried to discourage patients from having secondary to painful healing and potential for scarring However we have been doing nonsurgical labioplasty withFemTite a radiofrequency device that is perfect for contouring labia using gentle heat and creating tissue contraction without risk of scarring and substantially less discomfort. There is little associated down time and results are great without having the risks of major surgery
