I have seen Dr Touma for many years for my rosacea which has been under control for many years. So pleased with Dr Touma and how my appointment went. Very personable and listened to my concerns and how to address them. Looking forward to my laser surgery in December for my face and hands and continuing with Dysport for my elevens and bunny lines. Excited for my journey with Dr Touma. Thank you, Joyce Damron
Susan is fantastic! She not only walks me through each step of what she’s doing but makes me feel comfortable! She also makes suggestions for other areas to treat or products that keeps me in mind. -CM
There are multiple options for treating scars and all of the procedures you mentioned in your post are great treatments. The severity of the scar and the amount of time it has been present both play important roles in determining which treatment option is best for you. From our experience here in our office, Microneedling using the Collagen P.I.N device has proven very effective in the treatment of mild, superficial scarring. The area to be treated is locally numbed with a high concentration topical lidocaine so there is little to no discomfort during the procedure. One of the best treatments for scars is TIME! Most superficial scars tend to fade away over time. When you have scarring that has been present for an extended period of time, the best thing to do is visit your local Board Certified Dermatologist to determine what treatment plan will work best for you. Good Luck to you!
