I has the privilege of seeing Dr. Sumeet Thareja several months ago. I have much damage on my face from overuse of high intensity sun tan beds. He did several cryo sessions on my face told me there is another procedure that should be included in this treatment plan and, Photo Dymanic was the plan. He was and is always available to listen to my concerns, remembers my name iand is ever vigilant in making sure my treatment plan is being followed. The best part of Indigo Dermatology is that when ever they bring in new treatment products whether it be Medical or Cosmetic; they let me know..they invite me to come for a demonstration and they give me special pricing. In todays world, Indigo Dermatology is far above you average Dermatology office. Try them, you will never want to go anywhere else!!!
This would be considered an off label treatment site but from my experience it would work well for this area as well. I would recommend two treatments per site.
I usually recommend no more than 3 treatments per area in a 4-6 month time. If the patient tolerates these treatments well than I would have no problem treating the same area a 4th time.
In my opinion the ICON 1540 laser is the safest and most effective option for you. It helps reduce pore size and treat scarring. Generally 3-4 treatments are required in 3-5 week intervals. Reach out to a local dermatologist to learn more.
You would absolutely be a great candidate for sculpsure. Sculpsure would allow you to target your lower abs and flanks without any surgery or downtime. The resulting 25% fat loss associated with each treatment will safely give you the body you are looking for. I highly recommend sculpsure over tummy tuck in your case.
Temporary swelling can occur, although uncommonly, after sculpsure treatments. I have had a couple patients who experienced prolonged swelling for 3 weeks after treatment but eventually it did dissipate and they were very happy with results. Nausea is an even more uncommon side effect. I would consult with the treating physician to ensure you do not have an underlying hernia. The laser only targets the superficial subcutaneous fat and therefore risk of damage to deeper structures is negligible. If you had more than one area treated the same day and experienced significantly inflammation this could in theory cause mild nausea. However I would speak to the treating physician to ensure all is well.
