About 10 years ago my frontal hair began receding. At first it was barely noticeable but over the years I’ve had to grow my hair longer and longer in order to try to and hide my receding hair line. I caved in last summer and booked in a consultation at British Hair Clinic in Shenfield. I was impressed at how relaxed the team was and felt at ease immediately. I opted to have an FUE procedure two weeks later. As I live in Chelmsford I was delighted that it was so easy for me to get to. Dr Suhail Alam was the surgeon, he explained the procedure to me and answered any questions I asked. I was worried about future hair loss and whether I would need a transplant in the future. He explained to me what could be done and how I could prevent future hair loss and ensured that my donor area would be well protected in the event I needed another hair transplant in the years ahead. I had an FUE procedure of 2200 grafts. Apart from the minor discomfort from the anesthetic injections, I felt no pain whatsoever throughout the operation. The team was happy to let me sit-up, move around and go to the loo as often as I needed to. I could listen to music or watch a film of my choosing. I was able to bump in to a patient who was having a PRP treatment 3months post-op and they were also very happy with their procedure and overall care. I knew I was in very good hands, the fact I have been able to see excellent results in only 8months. I am certain I made the right decision and can happily recommend Dr Suhail Alam and the British Hair Clinic. Here you have some of my pre-op and post op pics 8 months later pics.
