Dr. Couch is, hands down, one of the best medical care providers I have ever come in contact with. He is patient, kind, and explains in detail every little portion of any procedure/treatment I've ever had with him. My entire family trusts him with our care. I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Couch for any facial treatment you're in need of!
Very caring, knowledgeable, informative, etc. He explained the procedure step by step and in detail and made sure I understood it. I really felt comfortable talking and being operated by him. The results were very satisfactory!
Dr. Couch did upper eyelid surgery on me. To say it was the best decision to have it done, is an understatement. Dr. Couch explains the procedure in detail and is patient with answering questions. After the surgery, Dr. Couch’s nurse Ashley, followed up by personally calling me to again answer any questions and see how I was doing. My results were amazing in the fact that after many years of looking tired because of the droopy eyelids, I now look refreshed and I believe a little younger too! Who wouldn’t be happy about that. I highly recommend Dr. Couch for this procedure. It went smoothly from surgery through recovery. I might add that after my great result with the eye lid surgery, I now see him for Botox and fillers. Trust in someone that is doing cosmetic procedures on you should be your #1 priority and Dr. Couch is that person!
I have always not been happy with the extra skin that gives me a droopy eye look. Some people told me it makes me look tough and that I look like a boxer, but for me it made me unhappy. I originally had consultations with my local plastic surgeon in florida but he did not make me feel comfortable. I was referred to him because had heard he was one of the top in his industry at making eye repairs. So I had a consultation with Dr. Couch and he suggested do have an upper eyelid bleph, I saw before and after pictures of previous surgeries he had done and I was amazed. I flew from Florida to have my surgery with him because I would rather have an opthamologist who is specialist on the eyes than a plastic surgeon who might do eyes one day, breast implant later and then a hair transplant the next. The night before the surgery I went online and started reading people's stories about how they had to sit in a dark room with lights out and by day three they could watch tv or read so I did get a little nervous and freaked out. Dr. Couch assured me that I was over worrying and would be ok. The day of surgery it was seamless, I didnt feel any pain and afterwords even with all the bruising I was so excited for how the end result would look. I know I was supposed to go home and rest but I was so excited at how things looked. I recommend Dr. Couch,I could not imagine any doctor in the world being as good as he is at what he does.
I recently had an appointment with Dr Couch about a week age and I will like to say he is amazing at what he does. He is very professional, polite, and caring. After my procedure he made sure that someone called and checked up on me to see how I was doing. I would recommend him to anyone.
I saw Dr. Couch years ago for an upper and lower bleph, and brow lift. I am an RN and I have had interactions with many doctors, and I have to say that the first time I met him, I felt comfortable and confident in my decision to have him do my surgery. He and his staff were very attentive and made me feel at ease about the procedure and recovery. He did such an amazing job that I returned to Dr. Couch's office for a laser treatment to my entire face. Again, I felt relaxed and at ease that I was in the right hands. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Couch and his staff. If you are considering any plastics to the eyes/face, this is the place to go and the right doctor to see!
Dr Couch is very good at what he does. Recently had lid lifts done to correct drooping on my eyelids and laser to remove the “bags” under my eyes. He explained the procedure and kept me at ease through the process. I couldn’t be more pleased with his care before, during and post. His staff was equally helpful. Thank you Dr. Steve! I would highly recommend him.
Chemical Peel was not an option along with laser treatment due to my pigmentation, olive. Results visible in a couple of days after swelling subsided! Much smoother appearance!!Results were phenomenal, might have to go for second treatment since some are older, deeper scars. Loved how he took the time and explained the procedure thoroughly, answering all of my questions.
Dr. Couch did an exceptional job on my lips. There was very little pain and him and his team were nothing but professional. I am highly satisfied with how my lips turned out. My upper lip was more of the problem but they are perfect now. I would definetely recommend Dr. Couch and will certainly be seeing him again.
Dr. Couch was recommended to me by a friend, who was extremely happy with the botox treatments he had done for her. I discussed with him what I wanted, and he took the time to listen to that and give me his expert opinion on what he thought would be best for me. He was very honest about what he thought I needed, rather than letting me spend money on things I didn't need. In doing a little research I found he has an impressive resume, has trained with, and now trains some of the best plastic surgeons there are, and is they type of surgeon who goes the extra mile for his patients. I was extremely happy with the outcome of my botox and would recommend him without hesitation. I will happily drive over two hours to see him for all botox and procedures in the future!
When synkinesis develops after a facial nerve palsy the affected eye is smaller because it has excess stimulation of the closing muscle (orbicularis). Precise low dose botulinum toxin injection to block this excess stimulation works very well. Ptosis surgery would not be the answer. I would seek treatment with an ophthalmic plastic surgeon.
Hello, there are a multitude of reasons for your asymmetry - i.e. preexisting asymmetry in the eyelid or crease, subtle blepharoptosis, congenital asymmetry between the orbital apertures, or even occasionally something sinister. Sometimes the best answer is an upper eyelid blepharoplasty to even and reestablish your eyelid crease but that is not the only reason. Occasionally a photo can be helpful if you can post one. I would recommend you have an evaluation with someone proficient in eyelid plastic surgery- specifically trained in oculoplastics surgery would be the best.
I would not be concerned with this. I think it is way too early to get concerned with your final result. Many patients take a multitude of weeks to fully mature their eyelid incisions and swelling that occurs below the eyelid fat will can take a month or even longer to fully resolve. Hang in there...
Hello, I don't think the Duanes syndrome will help your case for insurance approval as most commonly it is based on demonstration of visual obstruction with, photos and physical findings. Concomitant diseases typically are not taken into account for approval but should be strongly taken into account when evaluating patients. Depending on surgeries performed, some of the protective mechanisms for your eye may be faulty and changes in therapy may be required. I would strongly recommend an evaluation with an eye plastic surgeon. You can find local surgeons on the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeons website. Good luck!
I would recommend you discussing your concerns with your surgeon. Sometimes if caught early in the process, treatments can be offered to prevent it from worsening. Good luck!
