Dr. Bernstein is great! Really appreciated his natural approach - he even said no to doing more because it wouldn't look natural. I really appreciated that! And I find the results so natural - i'll definitely be doing more!
I have been extremely happy with my results, and I think Dr. Bernstein is a nice guy and extremely professional - he always tries to talk to talk me out of things he doesn't think I need. I think I have seen him 3 times now, and I am not looking to switch!
I'd been wanting to do this for the last 3-4 years but hesitated because I just hadn't found the doctor I could trust to do this delicate job (I should specify that my mole was right in the middle of my face, between my mouth and my nose, so in a pretty obvious place, and I very concerned about ending up with a bad scar...). Dr. Bernstein was amazing: first of all he is super kind, extremely attentive and Professional, and obviously very talented if I look a the result of what he did for me. Oh, I should also add that he is fluently bilingual (je suis francophone !). I therefore fully and without any hesitation recommend Dr. Steven Bernstein.
I have always had a pretty flat nose with no projection and had done research about a non surgical nose job. I found hat in order to raise the projection of your nose you could use fillers...so I found a location in Montreal hat I could trust and wnet ahead to do it! I loooved it My nose projection slightly change my face from front but from profile it was a whole other world of greatness! Only thing is the doctor told me as it is temporary it can take several months to 2 years to completely disappear before I have todo it again. It
Dr. Bernstein was VERY helpful, I am already seeing results. I really appreciated him taking the time to talk to me, to understand the problem before jumping to a conclusion, I definitely felt like I was treated like a person instead of like a number which is how I felt at my previous derm appointment elsewhere. I highly recommend Dr. Bernstein as he was very personable and knowledgeable!
Very Helpful - Montreal, QC
My Experience - Westmount, QC
I chose Dr,Bernstein because he is also my dermatologist- and so many of my friends were happy with his procedures. I have had many procedures done by Dr.Bernstein-and I have been very satisfied with anything I have had done. Most importantly I have found Dr. Bernstein very easy to talk to,and he always discusses each treatment in great detail and what to expect. I also find that he never tries to push any unnecessary procedures.
Botox is what we like to call a “lunch time procedure” because it is a quick, easy and without down time. There is usually no trace of it immediately afterwards. I advise my patients to avoid bending, exercising or lying down for 2-3 hours after receiving a Botox injection.
No, Botox can be very effective in reducing crows feet at the corner of the eyes. I recommend you see a board certified esthetic specialist for an evaluation. Finding an experienced physician, such as a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon is the key to having a good result and positive experience.
A Botox treatment can last for 3 to 6 months. The duration of the effect varies from person to person and treatment frequency is dependent on personal preference – does the patient like to come back the moment the results start to wear off or do they prefer to wait until they go away completely? As a general rule, I recommend patients get Botox treatments every 4 months.
Botox is an FDA approved drug that can be used to treat fine lines and wrinkles safely, when in the right hands. An aesthetic Botox treatment can typically be used on the forehead, glabella (frown lines), crows feet, masseters (jawline) and platysmal bands (neck bands) to create a soft, rested look. However, because you say wrinkles are across your entire face, you would probably get the best result with a combined treatment of dermal fillers and/or fractionated lasers. While dermal fillers replace lost volume, lasers can eliminate fine lines, improve texture and pore size and reduce pigmentation for a rejuvenated look. I recommend meeting with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss your options.
The use of Botox to control hyperhidrosis is FDA approved and can be very effective when administered by an experienced physician. Injected near the sweat glands, Botox can reduce excessive sweating in palms, feet and underarms up to 80% and usually lasts an average of 7 months. In some cases the results can even last up to a year. Often patients feel that excessive sweating has affected their day to day life and causes a great deal of self-consciousness. A Botox treatment has really helped my patients who experience excessive sweating regain their confidence.
