Dr. Martin is THE best. I drive 100 miles just to see him. I like that he only does face work. I've had Botox, Refyne lip injections, brow and upper lid lift and bellafil and have always been happy with my results.
Great experience! I was nervous at first because I had never done any preventative treatment other than skin care products. The entire staff made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. Dr.Martin was extremely informative and had a great bedside manner. My results took about a week to completely kick in but I had no down time after my appointment and my results look so natural other than me not being able to make those ugly wrinkles! Definitely will be back again.
Two years ago I had a lower facelift with fat transfer performed by a local doctor (who came highly recommended and had just done beautiful facelifts on 2 of my friends). It seems there was some fat necrosis in my cheeks and I was not pleased with the "divets" or dents that appeared whenever I smiled. After 6 months, I started going to another local plastic surgeon (also highly recommended) for fillers to try to fill in the divets. He did Radiesse injections on 2 different occassions within a year and a half, and while it helped somewhat, my smooth cheeks seemed to be a thing of the past. I finally went to see Dr. Martin in Mobile and he told me that the threads from a 4 year old threadlift were still in place. My facelift plastic surgeon told me he would remove them during the surgery, but he did not. So Dr. Martin took them out and told me to come back in a few months to see if the dents corrected themselves. They got better, but I still wasn't happy so yesterday on my follow up visit, Dr. Martin expertly injected Bellafil. He kept asking me to smile (to see the dents), then he would inject in the precise place that was needed to fill them in. I am so happy today! I have my face back. I will not post photos due to privacy issues, but this doctor is amazing. He knows what he is doing!
I've just had my first in a series of three Laser 360 treatments. It's three procedures done back to back-they start with the AFT pulsed light for skin tone, then pulsed light for tightening and finally, the Pixel for resurfacing. I wanted general improvement in tone, texture, and wrinkle reduction. Pros-you get all three knocked out at once, combination of lasers gives better results. Cons-Don't let them kid you..you will be out of sight for several days. The most painful part of the procedure is the Pixel, but it's tolerable. Definitely opt for the numbing cream! Pain from Pixel is like a bad sunburn and peaks out fairly quick. My pain was over in about one hour after procdure. Use vinegar/water solution..it really helps. Swelling is significant and lasted for about two days. I used gel packs frequently to help with the swelling. Peeling started on day three and continued fully until day five. Days six and seven just some light dryness/flakiness but easily covered with moisturizer. I'm seeing definite improvement in skin texture/tightening and have had compliments already. I will be going back for sessions two and three in Jan/Feb.
Had an extensive consult prior to procedure. Day of procedure, results were worse than pre-procedure. Was told by doc to return in 10 days after my vacation. At follow-up I expressed my total and complete dissatisfaction..STILL had significant bruises and discoloration that I had to endure ON VACATION! I demanded a full refund and got it. He all but agreed his work was not a success and was worse than expected. 6 months LATER STILL have discoloration and have to strategically apply concealers to hide scars. This doc definitely needs more training with working on women of color!
