Undergoing cosmetic surgery was scary for me because it was a procedure that I wanted whether than needed. I read many reviews most good but some were bad. My experience with American Lipo Center of Dallas was good. It was easy to get an consultation appointment & I scheduled my procedure the same day. I already had financing set up for the procedure so that was easy. On my consultation day I was given pre-op instructions and prescriptions to have filled. My procedure was scheduled for 8am so I had to arrive at the office at 6:30am. I arrived at my appointment, completed some more paperwork & began taking medicine. At 7am I was taken into the room & had to get dressed for the procedure. This was also the time to ask any other questions that I had. After that I laid down, they turned the lights off, played music of my choice, and left me in the room to relax. To be honest I was so high off of the medicine I don’t remember too much after that. I kind of remember Dr. Thiele numbing me but it wasn’t painful & I’m scared of needles so the pre-op medicine definitely works. I remember Dr. Thiele telling me that he was finished with my upper and lower abdomen and was about to work on my flanks. The nurse said I pretty much slept through the entire procedure. I think I remember some of the suctioning but I really don’t know. After the procedure I went home and was sleep all day. The next day I went to work. I was still sore but it wasn’t painful. Day 2 I had to stop taking the pain medicine because I couldn’t function. It’s Day 4 so far so good, I’m still sore but getting up walking around really helps. I have follow up in two weeks. I can say that I noticed the difference the first day.

I have always had a bigger stomach going in doctor explained that I would have loose skin I was ok with that I just wanted to see some improvements in my stomach overall.as of 3/8/19 I’m officially 3 days post op.
