The prices in the San Diego area for upper or lower eyelid blepharoplasty by an eyelid expert, an Oculoplastic Surgeon, are around $4,000.   There are less expensive options where surgeons primarily do breast or body surgery.   Cost is only one factor in the decision process. Our practice regularly fixes botched eyelid surgery done where patients paid very unreasonable prices.  Choosing an Oculoplastic Surgeon that is an expert in the field and one with a track record for safety should be an equally important factor to consider.   

If you have vision changes after eyelid surgery, it is important to let your surgeon know. A throrough evaluation by a board-certified ophthalmologist and a candid conversation about your recent surgery will let you know if they are related.  

Incision placement in upper eyelid Blepharoplasty is critical to achieving a natural result. Experienced surgeons who focus on the eyelid area know that even 1-2 mm makes a significant difference.  The photos you show do not show if you have a ptosis, a drooping eyelid in addition to the high incision site.  A frontal photo would be helpful but not a substitute for a thorough evaluation by an oculoplastic surgeon--someone who regularly performs ptosis surgery. In our practice, we see patients every week that are in this scenario. Depending on the amount of skin remaining, the crease may be lowered and the ptosis may be addressed.

Everyone has some asymmetry before and after surgery.  You may consider the option of reversible hyaluronic acid filler to the left upper eyelid to preserve the fullness in the lid. I would check with an oculoplastic surgeon in your area. 

The eyelid heals very well and any bumps present while the sutures are in will certainly get better.  The type of suture also matter.  In general the bumps from absorbable sutures tend to stick around a little longer since the sutures also stick around longer.  As eyelid specialists, we debate the pros/cons of dissolvable versus permanent (removed at 6-7 days) suture.  In the 2017 ASOPRS national meeting a group studied the final aesthetic outcome between these and found no cosmetic difference.  There are some excellent ASOPRS-trained oculoplastic surgeons in the Kansas City community.   I would have them take a look if you have any concerns.
