I had the weekend facelift. I had alot of fat under my chin and puppet lines from the corners of my mouth. Dr Cherukuri did a remarkable job! I was so nervous going into the procedure but afterwards I didn't even need the prescription of pain meds he prescribed. Since I had lypo I had to wear a wrap around my head and chin for a week and sleep upright. Since I work from home I only missed 2 days but if you don't you would need a week due to the head wrap. I'm currently a month out and the scars are minimal. I wish I did it earlier! Everyone says I look 10 to 20 years younger. It looks natural. I couldn't be more pleased. Dr Cheruki is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him.
I had an excellent experience and I'm really pleased with the results. He also reduced some previous scarring. The staff was very friendly and professional. The surgical staff in particular was very nice and they were very good about keeping family members informed about what was happening.
I had appointments with several other doctors. I did my homework on all the details of a face lift and then I decided on Dr. Cherukuri after he had explained his procedure and knew it was the correct way to have it done. I am so happy with the results and would do it all over again. I also thought his price for the procedure was reasonable.
I was scared to death to have this done, but the doctor was so confident in himself and the staff put me to ease. When I had this done, I looked in the mirror and thought who is this person I am looking at. I am 59 years old now and and people are guessing my age to be in my late 40's and I had this done in 2012. If I had to get another one, I would not hesitate to do it again and definitely go the same doctor.
I'm 56, was feeling old and my lower face was sagging. I read some articles about Dr Cherukuri's weekend lift and decided to see him for a consultation. He explained the procedure to me and was able to show me how my results would look after the procedure. I had my lift done 2 weeks later. Since I didn't know exactly what to expect, I had scheduled a couple of vacation days for recovery. I had my procedure done on Friday, and as expected, my face was swollen for about 3 days, I returned to work on Wednesday. I am so pleased with my results! People in the office complement me on how I look, but haven't really figured out what is different. I'm very happy I decided to do this and would definitely recommend it and Dr Cherukuri to anyone who wants to feel better about themselves and their appearance.
I had a weekend lift feb 14th and very happy with the results . I have worked outside with my hobby for years, and sun and genetics left me looking older than I felt inside. My mothers neck was is very droopy as was her mothers and I seem to have inherited that. I lost 30 lbs last year and promised myself IF I lost it and kept it off I would think about getting some work done. I would not do a full facelift- way too much down time and expense and risk. I had a weekend lift, neck lift and some botox. I am finishing up with some Juvederm for the lines around my mouth. My doctor has been wonderful, supportive and ALWAYS available any time for my concerns or problems. I had a great deal of lasticity in my skin and a lot! If you didn't know me it was not that noticible, and I went out after 2days back to work in 7. Updated on 8 Apr 2013: I just wrote a book and lost it! I was worried about a low grade temp I ran for the last 6 weeks and today discovered I had my digital thermometer set for 'forehead' instead of ear!!! I am cured;) Updated on 11 Apr 2013: I had some re juvederm last fri, I want to add a new picture! Updated on 18 Apr 2013: I'm not sure about how happy i am happy with the juvederm but I will go back and have my doctor take a lookI my neck is a little soggier than I would like too , some days more than others:0--but my cheekbones are more evident. So I am thinking it is a bit of fluid collection , we will see! Updated on 25 Apr 2013: So hard to get a non grainy pic with my iPad must be some setting Updated on 15 Jun 2013: I am overall happy with my weekend lift! dr. Cherikuri is wonderful and so supportive, always available I'd I need him. Here is a photo from last week. Updated on 19 Oct 2013: Updated on 19 Oct 2013: Updated on 19 Oct 2013: This was requested some time ago- I just saw it. Updated on 21 Oct 2013: This not so grainy, my neck is sagger still, I go back in nov will see about a fix Updated on 21 Oct 2013: I am happy with the work thought I would show how that looks! Updated on 1 Jan 2014: I was not totally thrilled with my neckline after my lift, still had that waddle thing going off and on more noticeable some days than others. I had the necklift in the office on Monday, drove home and afraid I overdid it a bit! I was good for a while, then turned my head, sneezed and had a good amount of pain on one side of my neck, like a pull. I am not thinking I did any damage, but sure wish I would have taken it easier, instead of being out in the barn with the hay:( I am hoping I did not adversely affect anything. I am planning on calling my doctor after the holiday and having him take a look, even though I am having stitches removed on tues of next week. If he is in I am sure he will- Dr.Cherukuri is just wonderful:) and a very gifted surgeon I would say. Updated on 27 Jan 2014: I had my neck redone, I was not happy with it , especially some days it looked worse than others. If I do not eat a super clean diet I tend to retain water, swell face and hands especially-so after not great food choices days it could look saggier than I was happy with . I showed dr. pictures as when I went in it looked pretty good but he felt he could improve it for me and he did and we are both happy with the results:) Updated on 27 Jan 2014: I tried to get the same shot as previous 'bad' neck shot Updated on 28 Jan 2014: This is more fun than pre op for sure;) Updated on 24 Nov 2014: Sheesh 3rd time tring to post this! Pics were upside down love yourself ladies, don't look for perfect, we can all look crappy on a given day in a given light, even if your 35! Updated on 24 Nov 2014: Just showing11/14 Updated on 8 Dec 2014: I thought I'd enter the contest, it's 6am, no makeup. My face and neck are not perfect but much better than pre any work for sure and it doesn't have to be flawless for me to be happy. I'm realistic, even younger people have lines or a little sag;)
I am 63, but my lower face and neck belonged to a woman of 80. I had the lifts done on a Friday afternoon and was able to return to work on Monday. I did not even take an aspirin after the procedure. I no longer look in the mirror and worry about how old I look!
I wanted to feel better about my appearance.
The results are unbelievable. People tell me how great I look. They keep asking me if I lost weight or if I cut my hair. I look like a younger me. My turkey neck and jowls are gone. The only thing that I'm sorry about is that I didn't do it sooner. Results are great, but recovery is longer and more difficult then I thought it would be.

The ultimate answer is based on your expectations. I have performed MiniLifts or Quicklifts on patients as old a 82 (this was a unique case based on the patient's skin). It is generally more difficult to get a GREAT result when patients are older than 70, but this is where your in-person consultation can really help to explain the limitations of a Mini Facelift.
Especially since he is just 'starting to do minilifts'. This implies less experience. I would agree with the other posters that the MINILIFT is one of the hardest procedures to do properly since there is a shorter incision and less exposure. Go to a Facial Plastic Surgeon that has a lot of experience with MiniLifts.
One thing to remember that in the midwest, many general plastic surgeons spend most of their time on body plastic surgery (breast, lipo, tummy). Look for a surgeon (facial plastic surgeon or general plastic surgeon) with extensive facelift (or mini facelift) experience. Ask to speak to some of their patients.
The Weekend Mini Facelift / Quicklift or any other mini lift is performed under local anesthesia. It is therefore quite safe in patients with a cardiac history. Also, you mentioned that you have had a prior facelift. These Mini Facelift procedures are also an excellent option for a second facelift. The picture you have submitted is blurry, so it is difficult to ascertain if the areas you are concerned with on your face will be adequately addressed by a mini facelift. The only way to accurately assess this is with an in-person consultation. Finally, make sure you research your surgeon, as many are in the arena of performing minimally invasive facelifts with subpar results.
