Simon is a down to earth surgeon who treats you and your situation with respect. He approached me as an individual with unique skin removal requirements. I had a lower body lift and thigh lift. Simon used his experience and expertise to identify that the look I was after would not be acheived by standard, more traditional incisions. With my consent, he performed incisions on my outside thigh to remove my pear shape and saddle bags. My shape has dramatically changed, I'm able to wear dream outfits. I felt that Simon understood my requirements and appreciated and worked with the female form well. He is a gentleman who made me feel relaxed and comfortable and his aftercare has been phenominal. His beside manner is second to none, my incisions are fine and lines straight and my healing has well and truely exceed expectations. I cannot rate this surgeon highly enough.
Hello, If you are happy with the tip (cartilage portion) of your nose then it is perfectly reasonable to have your nasal bones adjusted using a closed rhinoplasty technique. Yes, it would be necessary to break the nasal bones (osteotomy) to narrow the dorsum. Rasping by itself will not work. All the best, Simon
Dear Sandy789, Yes, the asymmetry in size and shape can be corrected without needing implants. If you are happy with the size of the smaller left breast then i would suggest performing a lift (mastopexy) on that side and a reduction on the right. I would perform this surgery using a vertical scar technique (lollipop shaped scars). The good news is this surgery carries a rebate from Medicare / private insurance. All the best, Simon
hello, It is difficult to clearly see as the steri-strips are covering most of the wound. It appears there is a small area of delayed healing at the "T-junction". This is the most common area of the breast to have wound breakdown and usually heals up perfectly with dressings and a bit of time. All the best, Simon
hello vancene, It is difficult to answer your question without seeing a photo. Yes, a haematoma will make that breast appear larger at this stage but will gradually shrink as your body absorbs the blood and the extra swelling settles. Depending on the size of the haematoma it should disappear over 3 months. Large haematomas should be drained with another operation. The breasts may be slightly different sizes (they probably were pre-operatively if you look closely enough). I would suggest you return to your plastic surgeon for another assessment. If there is a significant discrepancy in the sizes then you may want to have the larger breast reduced again. All the best, Simon
Dear victoria20000, It would be possible for you to have a Lejour (vertical scar only) breast reduction. It is difficult with this technique to remove a lot of breast tissue but I think a full C cup is achievable in your case. A large vertical reduction does occasionally leave a pucker of skin in the lower end of the scar. This usually settles with time but may need another operation to remove. I would recommend having a vertical scar reduction with a short transverse scar in the crease (a narrow anchor). This would leave you with a nice shape and no "dog ear" in the inferior pole. Remember, the scar in the crease under the breast is the most inconspicuous of all of the scars. It is hidden in the shadow of the breast. All the best, Simon
