He did what he was supposed to do. He was friendly and professional and at all times he will answer an email - even in the middle of the night. The doctor coaches the patient to swallow the balloon which was in my case a 10-minute procedure. It is not an evasive or difficult procedure.

I am what's known as a yo-yo dieter I would start a diet do it for a couple of weeks & then give up, the Elipse balloon has helped me break that cycle, now the balloon is out I am still enjoying a sensible eating plan & I feel loads better, I have more energy & I'm enjoying life again. I can't say the initial experience was nice but it was bearable & Simon was very good in making sure you understood what was going to happen, it was all done very quickly & professionally, I was told the first couple of days I might feel a bit sick & boy were they right, I felt like I had flu but once that passed I can honestly say the experience didn't affect my daily life at all. A nutritionist called me on the day of the appointment & kept in touch afterwards, the set of scales you are given together with the app enables you to send your weight to your nutritionist, she would always respond with a "well done keep it up" message but she was also available should you have any questions. I didn't lose as much weight as I expected but for me the experience has really changed my outlook when it comes to food which has never happened with previous weight loss attempts. I am still losing weight, albeit a little slower but I'm fine with that. I would highly recommend this to anyone especially if, like me, you have tried every possible diet & failed.
