QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Dental implants with crowns feel uncomfortable and have indents on them - can these issues be fixed? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi
You have implant supported screw retained crowns.
The small hall you see is the access to the screw that connects the crown in to the implant, and is sealed with composite. The advantage of a screw retained crown is that it is retrievable. Another way to do them is cement retained, and you would not see the screw access, but they are no retrievable.
The size seams to be ok, although they can be made more esthetic natural looking.
In a few days you won’t feel them, it’s normal at the beginning to feel your tongue constricted since it was occupying the area where the teeth are.

What dental procedure would you recommend for my teeth? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi
You need a clinical evaluation, but based on the pictures I would recommend a crown lengthening procedure and 8 weeks later upper front porcelain veneers

Is it possible to put in veneers to replace missing incisors to cover gap between canines and premolars? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi
I would suggest having some space redistribution with Invisalign or braces and then some veneers depending on the study you might requiere implants to replace the missing tooth.

Can dental bonding be used to lengthen teeth, and is it permanent? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi
To have a predictable outcome you can have bonding but I would recommend covering all the front part of the teeth.
It’s like a veneer but made out of composite.
It’s usually a non reversible procedure.

Hi
After X-ray and clinical evaluation you can have a clear treatment plan and estimate but you could have your teeth fixed with a mixed of implants, crowns veneers and dental whitening.

Should I seek immediate attention to address the inflammation in my gums due to my veneers? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi
It seems you have some gingivitis, usually caused by accumulation of plaque, if it’s the first time it happens it might resolved by just having a professional cleaning.
Upon consult the dentist can check if there are any additional issues that might be causing the inflamation.

There’s Dentists & then there’s Dr Simon Flikier !

If I could give a 100 stars, I would ! I was referred to Dr Flikier by a PS in CR. Whrr Ed n I first met Dr Flikier for a consult, he was not pushy, gave me a dental plan and an extremely reasonable estimate. It was NOT about money for him. His bedside manners and impeccable reputation in the world of cosmetic dentistry stayed with me. 2 yrs later when I was ready, I seemed him out again, he responds right away. I got the full mouth restoration to build my teeth ( volume) / all 28. I was a thumb sucker as a kid & a class 2 malocclusion . He used the best material ( zircon) & gave me a smile so stunning l, I can’t stop looking at myself. My only regret is , why didn’t do this sooner. A couple of points to consider. Global medical tourism gets a bad rap because there are unfortunately shady practioners even in medicine but give. The US has such high standard requirements we are safe. The down side is - you will pay a pretty penny. I am not exaggerating when I say the same work would have cost me upwards of $50 k in nyc!( Much more than PS) I certainly could not afford that . But I always didn’t want to compromise on quality. The sort of facility I saw, the tools ‘ equipment ( all state of the art) showed the investment Dr F had put into his practice . He went to dental a hook in the Us. Speak perfect English. Had so devil because manners. And josh of all, his work was impeccable. So please trust me when I tell you, go to him. Don’t go through any medical agents etc- scammers. So you know I’m real, I am willing to talk / DM anyone who is considering the leap of faith. This is a world class dentist, who make your trip worthwhile, excellent results, a total of 4 spots over 2 weeks & hours done. I have had no problems since May when I did the work. If you ever need to communicate with him, he responds right away. The $ is a fraction of what it is in the US, so gif me it was a dream come true. Your individual plan will determine what you pay. Finally, I am NOT paid by the dr. In fact his business is thriving ( all other Drs go to him as their dentist. That says a lot in itself). He f do Ieshan need the business. I encouraged him to get on Realself -he’s THAT good. I am willing to put my patient experience & name to help others like me have the same experience. You can DM/ call/ chat me if you’d like to know anything else . Wishing you a very happy smile in your neat future !
