Dr. Pilcher has a wonderful bedside manner. She made me feel very comfortable discussing the changes that I wanted to make. She anticipated my questions and answered many before I had to ask them. She made me feel like I was more than just a patient, like I was a friend. I am very pleased with the outcome and would definitely come back if I had any additional plastic surgery needs. I highly recommend her.

I am completely happy with Dr Pilcher and her amazing staff! I saw Dr Pilcher for a breast reduction surgery after having consultations with other surgeons. I felt very comfortable and very confident in my decision of having Dr Pilcher preform my surgery. I had been considering breast reduction due to chronic neck pain issues that I had been struggling with for years. I had tried every non-surgical treatment that there is for the neck pain including two rounds of physical therapy, massage therapy, and I was taking heavy doses of pain medications every day. This surgery gave me my life back in so many ways. After the surgery, I have been off of all the medication and the chronic pain that I had been experiencing for so many years is gone. I am extremely happy with my results after Dr Pilcher removed about a pound of excess tissue from each breast. The girls look fantastic, and I have not lost any sensation. Dr Pilcher and her staff have made me feel so comfortable during the entire process.
I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Pilcher. I've wanted to get my breast done after having 2 kids for quite some time and was very nervous about which doctor to choose. I had heard from friends about all the accreditations and experience Dr. Pilcher had so I set up my consultation. She and her staff were so friendly and professional. I never once felt rushed and they answered my millions of questions I had regarding implants. It's now been 8 months post op and I'm so happy with my results. I believe they genuinely care about your experience and your satisfaction with your procedure. I HIGHLY recommend Accent Plastic Surgery!!
Making the decision to get a breast lift/reduction was easy, choosing Accent Plastic Surgery, Dr. Pilcher, and her team was the best decision of my life. Not only did the surgery go flawlessly, recovery was minimal, scars are almost gone, and I feel like a new woman! I would trust Dr. Pilcher with any procedure and highly recommend her. She and her staff always made me feel informed, comfortable, and safe. Dr. Pilcher is the best!
This Doctor is simply Amazing!! She made me feel comfortable from the moment I met her at my first consultation. She also listened and took the time to understand the proper size breast I was interested in. I had surgery on a Thursday and was out and about by Monday morning . It was really not a big deal at all. (Remember all individuals heal and deal with pain differently) I believe it was her careful hand and she basically didn't butcher me. The office is clean and her staff is very pleasant. If you are considering anything done, she is your girl! Well worth the money.
Dr. Pilcher was very knowledgeable, patient and caring. The results were terrific, so natural. She helped me make decisions that were just right for me. She and her staff made me feel very comfortable, I highly recommend them. I look forward to using her services again for other cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Pilcher is an exceptional plastic surgeon. I interviewed 3 doctors for addressing mid-century makeover for my abdomen area. I I waited 23 years after the birth of my triplets to have surgery to address the cosmetic abdominal fallout of a huge pregnancy and age. Dr. Pilcher under promised the results and over delivered. I am over the moon with the outcome.

Usually a small amount of breast tissue may be removed but will be a cosmetic procedure and will not usually qualify for insurance coverage. You are best to consult with a plastic surgeon to be sure your breast shape, tissue quality will be amenable to the procedure.
The medical term for sagging is "ptosis". It can be caused by, genetics, pregnancy, weight fluctuations or a combination of these. There are varying degrees of ptosis, determined by the level of the nipples in relation to the rest of the breast. Different degrees are corrected by different procedures. A plastic surgeon can evaluate you and recommend treatment.
Whether or not a rectus diastasis repair is performed is not usually plastic surgeon dependent but rather whether it is present in the patient, if it concerns the patient, if the patient desires its repair, aware it may add to postoperative discomfort and if the surgeon feels the repair will make a change. It would be best to specifically ask your surgeon this question again and relay your desires for repair if present.
Breast Reduction can be a life changing surgery. There are several steps necessary to complete to see if you qualify for medical necessity for breast reduction.1. First check with your insurance provider and/or HR director to assure your policy does not outright exclude breast reduction.2. If breast reduction is covered for medical necessity you will need to show documentation of your symptoms such as pain, rashes and any treatments you have received, such as medications, physical therapy, with out relief of symptoms So visit with your primary care physician or a board certified plastic surgeon to start the process. All insurance companies have their own crtiteria.3. Call/Ask around to find a plastic surgeon in your area that accepts your insurance.4. The plastic surgeon will examine you and determine the amount of tissue to be removed in accordance to your wishes and let you know if it is enough to meet insurance criteria. If it is they will send a letter and photos to the insurance company to review and they make the final decision for coverage.5. Your coverage must still be in effect when you actually have the surgery. You will still be responsible for your deductible and any co-insurance/co-pays.Best of luck!
Once an incision has healed enough, scars may be improved by using silicone sheeting, silicone based scar gels, and/or scar massage. It is still best to seek a plastic surgeon's input to both assess the scars and their response to these treatments.
