I'm going to chronicling this as I go along. I've maintained good weight and worked out a lot. I lost a significant a amount a couple of years ago but even with working out so much my legs did not improve. My arms became super sculpted and I'm happy with them but my legs made me feel like all that effort every week for a simple of years was wasted. So I decided on doing something. Unfortunately it all seems like it's not very little benefit. I settled on thread lift because it promised a more noticeable improvement than other options. Updated on 12 Feb 2021: One leg is fairly good only experiencing a sharp pain if I get in the car or she. The other leg still has extensive pulling and it's difficult to arrange it to avoid the pain. I should have taken a pic during the procedure. It was quite a soft seeing all these black fishing line looking things coming out of my leg Updated on 14 Feb 2021: After contacting the office it looks like the sharp pulling pain will be normal while the threads settle and last about two weeks. Swelling around the many incision points it's mostly gone and the legs look pretty smooth. I have one small dimple that is visible if I put the legs up but not standing, sitting or laying so not a big deal. Pain in the thighs is still significant enough to impact daily life. Not bad of the results were permanent but I'm not sure if the discomfort will be worth it if it doesn't last long. Only time will tell! Updated on 20 Feb 2021: It's eleven days post o.o. I still get some pulling pain but it's totally manageable now and doesn't really impact activity anymore. Out of the 40 threads 3 have left little bumps. Like the thread is a bit long now that the swelling has gone down. See photo Updated on 24 Feb 2021: One of the threads has moved sideways and to the surface so it can be felt there. I have an appointment next week to fix it. Generally they seem to book the appointment two hours before the doctor even arrives so a lot of time is spent sitting in the chair ready and waiting. I find this somewhat disrespectful of people's time so I asked to make an appointment closer to her arrival Updated on 3 Mar 2021: So I get several appointment reminders and confirmed and today the day of the procedure they cancelled saying doctor called. She's not coming in. That office definitely is being hurt by the doctor's attitude of patients not being important. It's like they feel we don't have anything better to do than rearrange our schedules around her. Super weird! Updated on 11 Mar 2021: I went for my touch up. I know I've complained about their scheduling and that's really the biggest downside of the office. The doctor herself is nice and lovely and generous with her time. I arrived at 3:30. Saw the doctor at 6 and my touch up stayed at 6:30. We spend the first hour revising three threads. That took a lot of digging around and was the most painful part. She offered to put a layer of tiny threads over the area where we had previously done the thick long body threads. She added 70 tiny threads on each leg plus a few extras to secure the loosened revised threads. I left the office at 8:30 pm. Long day! I feel she really wanted me to have a good results. The tiny threads are much less painful than the thick body threads. A day later the leg with the revisions is really the only one painful. I'm going back in a month for a follow up Updated on 13 Mar 2021: After small threads. It's just 3 days post second set of threads. Pain is non existent with the little threads and I'm wearing a compressing legging which makes it much less uncomfortable. I'm using a bathroom light straight from the top for best shadows. Also more unflattering Updated on 30 Mar 2021: I'm always taking these pics now in the bathroom because the from the top down light brings out the wavyness. I do feel like there's a slight improvement in skin tone and less wavy right now. The ends and dimple have resolved as well. If this would have been a $2000 2 hours procedure I'd totally be thrilled. The fact that it was twice that much and really impacted what I could do for awhile still keeps me in the fence. Updated on 15 Jun 2021: If there's any kind of improvement then it's so subtle that it wasn't really worth the money and downtime I think. Personally I don't see any change. The sales staff at the final follow up thought that my skin tone had improved? You be the judge of that...
