QUESTIONS ANSWERED

It is difficult to tell from your picture exactly what is happening. I would put a call to your surgeon and have them do an exam (Some physicians can use Telemedicine via Facetime for this). If the procedure was done with laser versus suture that can make a difference. Consider emailing your doctor with a picture so they can contact you for further instructions (If you are comfortable doing this).

I agree with your surgeon that it would be fine. This procedure is not impacted by lifting, assuming there are no complications!

I would certainly let the lasered edges of the incision heal before waxing. Shaving around the area of reduction would be ok, but the reduced labia should heal first. I see my patients back in the office weekly to check on their post op progress and would like to see about 3-4 weeks go by before waxing is done on the labia., if at all. Alternately, you could consider laser hair removal in the area after the labia has healed.

Insurance will not cover laser rejuvenation for urinary incontinence. Many offices have payment plans, and CareCredit to help with costs. You can be signed up right away in the office. I would recommend that you have an exam by the gynecologist first to determine the cause of your incontinence so a proper treatment plan can be devised.

Surgically a vaginal "anterior repair" will correct a bladder which has herniated into the vaginal area. This is a procedure done through the vagina, as an outpatient. This procedure is generally not done to tighten the vaginal vault. Laser vaginal rejuvenation will help strengthen the vaginal tissue, but is not considered a corrective procedure for a prolapsed bladder. I recommend an exam by the Gynecologist to determine your exact issues and formulate a plan for treatment.
