Studies have shown that petroleum jelly has been equal to or outperformed all ointments including expensive "scar ointments" like mederma as well as antibiotic ointments. It is the least expensive and the most effective choice. Some people don't like to put petroleum jelly on their body for other reasons and that is understandable. However from a healing standpoint it remains one of if not the best option. 

What is the best ointment to use on the tip of the noise after Mohs also during the healing process?

In my practice we can often do these treatments in the same day it is just important that the sequence of the injection and laser are followed closely so that you do not encourage spread the Botox

Can I have Botox right 2 weeks after having a photo facial?

This is easily performed by a board certified dermatologist in the office under local anesthesia. The procedure often does not require sutures and there are no limitations to activity

3-4mm high, 5-6mm wide its skin colour and Ive had it since I was born an I'm 16 now, it gets scabby and sometimes bleeds.

Fillers to shape the nose can be done very successfully however after rhinoplasty it is important that you haven't experienced injector to avoid necrosis in the area. This is only for expert injectors

I've had rhinoplasty that I wasn't completely happy with. While no one has ever said anything negative to me about it, I feel it's slightly too narrow (at least in some photos) and my nostrils are smaller. I do not feel comfortable with further facial surgery, but fillers seem to be a good option to make a subtle change. From what I've read fillers are used to make the nose more symmetrical and thus appear smaller -- but can they also be used to make a bridge and/or tip appear slightly larger?

In my office we use local numbing for tattoo removal with a shot of lidocaine. This does Not interfere with the effectiveness of the laser. The laser targets ink and not water.

In my practice I am able to fix a lot of nose irregularities with fillers instead of surgery. Some procedures are very simple and take less than one minute to perform while others can be more detailed. All of the filler procedures can be done in the office with little local numbing or no numbing . The nose is an area with more blood vessels and it is important that your injecting physician understands the anatomy and how to manage any complications should they arise.&nbsp;

I'm a 19 yr old girl and pretty much my whole life I've been self concious about my nose bump. I don't want a super dramatic change, I just want this nose bump to be less drastic looking. Any answers are appreciated :)

Injections with hyaluronic acids such as restylane or juvederm must be done correctly to avoid complications. Under the eyes &nbsp;is an area for more advanced injectors only. Your dermatologist or oculoplastic surgeon should be able to help you pick the best product. There have been documented issues with injections in this area. So a great injector with lots of experience is your best bet for this off label injection.

I would like to have my undereye bags corrected. Is it better to choose Juvederm or Restylane? I read somewhere that Juvederm may cause discoloration. The consulting nurse recommends Restylane. Thank you.

For lines around the mouth I will usually take a simple approach. For young patients whose lines are created by muscle movement only and are &nbsp;not present &nbsp;at rest we will treat with Botox or Dysport. &nbsp;For lines that are there even when relaxed either a laser resurfacing procedure or filler will work very well and give long lasting results. Your cosmetic dermatologist should be able to help you pick the right approach for you

I'm 27 and have had slight lines around my mouth since I was about 16 years old. I take excellent care of my skin and have virtually no wrinkles anywhere on my face. Are these lines a natural part of my facial structure or can I correct them with filler? I don't usually worry about them but I'm doing a film soon where there will be a lot of close-ups on my face. Also, if you do recommend the filler, could it make the lines worse over time by building up toxins in my skin?

Moles can be removed in two basic ways . One is shave removal and carries risk of regrowth and one is excision with sutures and usually removes entire mole and its cells definitively. Seeing a dermatologist / procedural dermatologist who has training in cosmetic plastic surgery will be very helpful in optimizing your cosmetic outcome while removing the mole in its entirety.&nbsp;

i have a mole on my eyebrow , i have them removed twice when i was 11 and 12 , but it kept growing back and growing bigger. should i be concern it kept growing back and growing bigger ? im 24 now and i really want it to removed again but dont want to waste a trip if it will be growing back again. any chance that if i remove them it will be growing again? i also have this mole on top of my head , is it possible to remove them together , will it affect my hair ?

Thin active patients are often the best candidates for great results with liposuction or liposculpture. The procedure is done in my office under local anesthesia (you do not need to go to sleep ) . The key to any success with liposculpture is skilled hands , compliant patients, and appropriate before and after treatment regimens.

I would like to get my waist shaped and my stomach flat. I can grip a handful of skin on either sides of my waist and lowwer stomach and I really hate it. Am I a potential candidate?
