Dr. Kusuma is an excellent plastic surgeon, and a highly ethical physician. I went to see Dr. Kusuma after an unsuccessful neck and lower face lift performed by another plastic surgeon in the area. I don’t know what was done to my face by the first plastic surgeon, although I can deduce what happened, but I looked totally different, and for the worse. Dr. Kusuma was able to give me my face back and a much younger and more beautiful one at that. He performed a full-face lift, upper and lower lid surgeries and neck surgery. I look much younger, and my features were not changed. I wasn’t pumped up with fillers either. I have my face back. I feel beautiful. I will forever be indebted to Dr. Kusuma (at Suria Plastic Surgery.) I went through a learning experience with the first physician and with Dr. Kusuma. I would like to share what I learned with those that might be shopping for a plastic surgeon. I have been able to compare two plastic surgeons and how they operate. I hope that what I learned will be useful to other people. The items listed below compare the two surgeons. 1. Dr. Kusuma will not ask you to sign endless documents stating that no matter what happens, he is not responsible for the result. 2. Dr. Kusuma will not use general anesthesia for your surgery. 3. Dr. Kusuma films the complete surgery, and he will give you any films you desire to have. So, you actually know what went on during the surgery. 4. Dr. Kusuma will perform the complete surgery himself. He will not allow a “surgical assistant” who has never attended college to close any incisions, or to perform any procedure. 5. After the surgery, every time you visit Dr. Kusuma, photos are taken. He meticulously compares your progress. 6. Dr. Kusuma will not let you go until he deems the final product to be perfect. He will follow through with various measures to achieve total perfection. 7. If you have any problems, it is easy to make an appointment. You will not be asked to wait weeks before you can see him. 8. Dr. Kusuma is very approachable. You will never feel fearful when presenting a concern. Around 15 years ago I had a bike accident. I had broken my nose and cracked my skull. Neither brake were terrible and would heal on their own (my first mistake). My right eyebrow had dropped about 1/4 in which felt very noticeable. My doctor at the time had said not to worry and it should lift back up on its own. It never did. He straightened out my nose but never fixed the real issues. What I started to notice also was that depending on the day and possibly how I slept; my nose would take a different shape. I hated photos and would constantly try to angle my face to minimize the distorted look of my nose. I did a ton of research. I am a RN. After meeting Dr K and finding out his credentials as a Board certified ENT and Plastic Surgeon; I knew I found the person I could trust. We sat and talked. He actually listened. I let him know what I wanted and the look I was aiming for which was really to have my original nose back; more feminine and addressing the aging issues of the tip. As long as I was going for it; I did an upper bleph to address my eye lids and he did a lateral brow lift to finally lift the right eye brow to symmetry. Fast forward 3 months and I LOVE my new look. Refreshed. Refined. I have stuck with the office doing my microneedling and laser resurfacing. I absolutely love the staff and the care I receive. Dr. Kusuma is the best doctor I have ever had (and as a two time cancer survivor, I have had many). His compassion is only surpassed by his skill. He is a humble miracle worker. Half of my nose was removed during MOHS due to Basel Cell Carcinoma. As an actress and model, I never thought I would work again. Dr. Kusuma did the impossible and made me whole. To the point that I am back to being on screen. Dr. Kusuma has also surrounded himself with a staff that goes above and beyond. Everyone at his office are people you would want to have over for Thanksgiving dinner. I am eternally grateful to this man and his team.

Dr.K created an extremely pleasant experience for me! I had my Brest reduced, and he exceeded my expectations. Just an amazing experience from end to end, highly recommend ! As an older man, I was hesitant about having any cosmetic surgery done on my face. Dr. Kusuma and his team were so professional in meeting with me to discuss my options. My facial and upper eyes were done and the results are better than I or my wife could expect. I am in good shape and wanted my face to reflect a more healthier and vibrant person.
