Dr Rice went above and beyond expectations! I'm 2 mths post opp and am very happy with my results. I would definitely would recommend him for jplama and liposuction. He is very kind and honest. I felt very comfortable addressing my concerns during the pre opp .Thank you Dr Rice!
As I was approaching my 60th birthday I wanted to do a few things to make me look less tired and more refreshed. I decided on doing a blepharoplasty, brow lift and some facial injectables. I decided on Dr. Sean Rice and his team because of what I heard from friends and great reviews written by clients who had work done by him. I could not be happier. Dr. Rice, his nurse Lindsay, his clinic manager Cybelle and receptionist Kate are all super diligent, and treated me with open arms. There was very little discomfort during the procedure, and I was continually asked how I was doing, always being reassured and asked if I needed a break. Dr. Rice is a wonderful person. He is very open, warm and also has great humour. All this helped me feel relaxed and motivated during the procedure. After the blepharoplasty procedure I realized that I actually had a wider range of sight due to my heavily hooded eyes being corrected. The overall scaring was minimal, and completely disappeared using the scar removal cream I was given. It made me realize that the actual benefits of plastic surgery go beyond just the physical improvement. Besides the physical improvement, I feel emotionally uplifted by the experience. Dr. Rice is an excellent, highly skilled and caring surgeon, who really listened to my concerns I would highly recommend him to anyone considering these procedures or any other type of Plastic Surgery. I am ecstatic over the results.
Amazing bedside manner! Very kind and gentle during my procedure. I highly recommend Dr Rice! He removed a large mole from my lower lip 15 years ago, more recently he removed a similar lesion. He asked me throughout the surgery if I was okay, he is very kind!
Dr. Rice is amazing, he was one of the only ones that was confident to remove the full capsule that others weren’t confident to do as I had Textured recalled implants, he replaced with saline to ensure I was safe. He is extremely professional and down to earth, his bedside manor is so kind and caring by far the best choice I could have made. I wish I found him before my 1st plastic surgeon. He was well worth the drive from Hamilton, I felt so safe and cared for truly an Dr that goes above and beyond for his patience. He even went out of his way to correct the falling pocket from previous implant therefore making my breast perfect. Wonderful man xo
I can’t express enough how much respect and gratitude I have for Dr. Rice after he corrected my botched body sculpting liposuction done by “doctor” mansour bendago of Toronto Cosmetic Clinic. Dr Rice is warm, personable, punctual and empathetic. I have one more touch up to do of the filler to get the final results (since he takes his time in ensuring excellent results) photos coming soon.
I had my breast implants removed (En Bloc), which included muscle repair, closing the pocket and some internal sutures for a small lift. The staff is amazing. From the receptionist who is very knowledgeable, clinical coordinator who explains everything nurses who are so friendly and kind, the anesthesiologist who was gentle and wished me sweet dreams and of course Dr. Rice with his great personality and magical hands! I consulted with 3 other surgeons and felt lost and misunderstood. And then I met Dr. Rice, and knew right away that he was going to be my surgeon. After my surgery, Dr. Rice called me that night to ask how I was feeling and to chat with me about the surgery. I was so grateful for that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Dr Sean Rice did my lip fillers and botox and I was thrilled! Highly recommend! I won't go anywhere else. He's really supportive and listens to what you want and you'll get the results you want. The staff are amazing and the office is very clean.
My first time at this location was back in 2008 I did some Botox. I was a bit scary because it was my first time. doctor rice and all the staff make me feel very welcomed Great doctor and great staff.
I was the one who was the late bloomer. Suddenly, after high school, I was becoming a 34DDD cup and just never stopped growing until my last bra size, before my reduction, was at 36I. I am only 5'3". I had a baby 10 months ago and only breastfed a month and that caused the most sagging, I think. They were already heavy and dense to begin with, with some sagging. Pumping milk definitely deflated them and made them feel so mushy from squeezing the to help get the milk out. Thinking about it now makes me cringe. It was time for a Mommy Makeover! I had my procedure done yesterday at North York General Hospital by Dr. Sean Rice. What can I say?! They look so perky and round, which is so exciting/surreal to see! They took pff over 4lbs of fat and tissue! Full recovery is 6 weeks and scars lighten up to a year. Obviously, everyone is different in healing. I had the lollipop method done. Some blood pooling is normal and I am wearing "saran wrap" style bandaids over the stitches until my followup appointment in 6 days. They are definitely lifted nicely. I have a lot of pain on the sides from the additional liposuction procedure I elected to do (paid a little over $2400 for it - I recommend you do this in addition to the breast reduction for a slimmer, complete look). Dr. Rice came by afterwards when I was in the recovery area to check on me. He is a really talented surgeon, and was highly recommended by a coworker, who had the procedure done by him. He genuinely cares about his work. My only complaint was when I was getting ready to be discharged and a nurse (or perhaps an aid) was being quite aggressive in helping me get the bra on and I had to remind her to get some thick dressings for cushioning underneath the bra. She was very rough, almost neurotic, in handling me and I yelped "owww" at one point as she was buttoning up the front closure of the bra. She was over-caffeinated or in a rush. I had to adjust the bra at home because the cups weren't even covering my whole breast, and pressing onto the stitches. Ouch! Otherwise, this was the best decision I have ever made for my posture, confidence, and overall well-being. Do not hesitate to have this surgery if you have back pain, discomfort, and general "dis-ability" to get things done like exercise and everyday tasks. Oh yeah, just an oddity I forgot to point out - in the recovery guidelines, no where does it suggest to do any icing. I assumed ice packs could be helpful to reduce swelling and pain, especially on the sides from the lipo. The sides from the liposuction hurt way more than the actual breast incisions! I am prescribed Oxycotin and take it every 6 hours as needed, and also given antibiotics to prevent infection. Overall, I am so relieved it is over and looking forward to a brand new beginning with my smaller, perky boobs! Good luck, ladies!!!
Good morning! Most people are able to return to work within a day or two after surgery. I would avoid any heavy lifting for about a week. Let's say you did your surgery on a Thursday, by Monday you should be ready to return back to work.
In your situation, breast implants are not covered under OHIP. An example of when breast implants are covered would be for breast reconstruction. Many clinics offer a variety of payment options, including financing. Be sure to ask about this option at your initial consultation.
