- In general, you want to wait 12 months for your final result
- The swelling is often more on the side that was operated on more
- The swelling will start to decrease, first between your eyes, and finally at your nasal tip
- Ice and gentle massage are the easiest ways to help accelerate your swelling that you can do at home
- Injectable steroid can also accelerate the healing process, consult your surgeon for this

For several reasons, you must wait at least one year before considering a revision.  With your skin, it takes that long to achieve a final result. After one year, consult your surgeon and come up with a set of clear goals. You will want to pursue a surgeon with experience with ethnic noses and revision rhinoplasty. 

Give this one year, your goals may change once the swelling is decreased.

I would give the process more time, some patients can take up to one year after surgery for all the changes to occur.  There are no exercises, but there are non-surgical methods to build the dorsum of the nose including fillers.  I would give the process some time before considering treatment.  I would also communicate with your surgeon as they can give you additional support and information.

There are many treatments other than surgery for upper eyelid rejuvenation.  The starting point is prevention, no tanning, smoking etc.  Ideally your board certified oculoplastic surgeon/facial plastic surgeon/plastic surgeon puts you on a regimen that consists of hydrators, moisturizers, serums, and sunblock to start.  This builds a foundation for the rest of your life and really optimizes any further treatment that you receive.  Moving along the line, neurotoxins (botox/xeomin/dysport), fillers, and laser can make dramatic improvements for a fraction of the price of surgery.  You must remember that many of these treatments are temporary and the cost can be significant over a long period of time.

Your question is very common and reasonable.  You will be wearing a nasal cast for 1 week.  Once the cast is removed, the external nose will be swollen/bruised for around 2-3 weeks, more towards 2 in a young healthy person like yourself.  The inside of the nose may be swollen for 3-4 weeks.  The swelling will then go down with time, usually the top of the nose between the eyes goes down first and the tip is last.  Subtle swelling that only you can notice may take up to one year to subside.  

Everyone is different, but the pictures and questions that you see commonly about bad swelling after rhinoplasty are from patients that are receiving revision rhinoplasty or very complicated noses that require significant dissection and grafting.
