Thank you to real self for recommending Dr Scott Ellis to me. From the moment we had our video consultation I immediately felt at ease. I appreciated his honesty of what he could do for me and what to expect. He has been very thorough and careful in injecting fillers into my tear troughs giving me a natural smoothing and camouflage of my eye bags and festoons for which I have had I many years. I look forward to continuing to be treated by Dr Scott for my future cosmetic needs. He was extremely attentive and really interested in my story and listened to what I wanted to achieve. Thank you Dr Scott or your brilliant work today. Once the swelling goes down it is going to look even better!!
Scott was so patient & informative. I had my forehead & crows feet done & it was the best experience I've had. He was thorough & professional. I'm going back for more next week. This treatement lasted just over 3 months.
Very happy with the overall results. The friendly, informative and professional service Dr Ellis provided was second to none. He explained the procedure very clearly and was extremely gentle. Follow up visit was offered, which was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend Scott. Would not hesitate to go back.
Dr Scott Ellis took the time and care to explain my treatment and the overall effects and lasting results that I would experience. He was gentle with the procedure and I was totally comfortable and I will definitely be revisiting Dr Scott Ellis in the future.
From the moment I was greeted in the waiting room by Dr Scott Ellis, I knew I was in good hands. Dr Ellis' friendly and genuinely approachable manner was only topped off by his professional attention to care and detail throughout my treatment. Dr Ellis explained my injectables well; I was amazed at how gentle and rapid the procedure was and how little it hurt! I was also pleased that the results looked subtle and natural. I have been to see Dr Ellis now on two occasions and have been exceptionally pleased with the results. Couldn't recommend a more exceptional Cosmetic Physician!
I would highly recommend Dr. Ellis. He was professional, competent, and presented as warm and sincere at all times. He explained the procedure without haste, consequently I felt more relaxed and was happy to go ahead without being too anxious.
I would highly recommend Scott. He made me feel immediately comfortable and addressed all my questions in a professional informative manner. I was nervous as I was having fillers for the first time and was concerned about the outcome and the level of discomfort I would experience. He was totally amazing throughout the procedure and it was nothing like I had imagined. Was not as painful as I thought and he did an amazing job. I will be definitely be returning. Thank you Scott.
From the minute I walked through the door I felt I was in the hands of experts that actually cared about my concerns. Friendly and professional, I would have no hesitation in recommending Scott Ellis and his wonderful team.
I have had a few treatments with Dr Scott. Fillers to cheeks and botox to forehead which have all gone seamlessly. Then we decided to try fillers to eye troughs which caused me some issues but Dr Scott was brilliant. He resolved the small issues and then redid the treatment for free. It is easy to receive excellent feedback when all goes smoothly but the true test of a doctor is when something goes wrong. Dr Scott takes ownership and works to resolve any issues.
Hi tjunior, Thanks for your question - it seems that this mole is somewhat bothersome to you. The first question to answer with any mole on the skin is whether it shows signs of neoplasm. Given that you've had a plastic surgeon review your mole, I presume he/she looked at it with a dermatoscope (magnifying device) and deemed that it is most likely benign. Any lesion with suspicious features should be removed surgically and examined by histopathologists to rule out neoplastic processes. There are a number of options for lesions that appear clinically benign. Whilst surgical removal is an option, it will always leave a scar - how obvious that scar appears depends on your body's healing process and the surgeon's decision making. Alternative options for low-risk lesions include laser removal (with a CO2 or Erbium YAG laser) or electrodessication. Whilst scarring is a possibility with these procedures, there is the possibilty of no scar being visible when performed in the appropriate manner. No procedure can guarantee the absence of a scar, so please be wary of any treatments or practitioners that 'guarantee' scar-free results. These procedures may sound daunting, but they are simple procedures that are performed under local anaesthesia in the clinic environment. Healing time depends on the modality chosen and the depth of the lesion, but for most people the skin has bridged the gap in 5-7 days, with full healing in 2-3 months following the procedure. The most important factors to look for in a practitioner are thorough examination to rule out skin cancers, honesty about possible treatment outcomes and a willingness to share with you results they have achieved in the past. I hope that helps. All the best,Dr Scott.
Hi bai.jess, Thanks for asking a great question, and for providing some pictures to accompany your query. Sorry to hear that your forehead and brow shape is affecting your self-confidence. Bossing is concern contributed to by a combination of bone shape and subdermal fat distribution - often genetically influenced. A number of options are available for treatment, varying in terms of how invasive each procedure is:1. Dermal filler can be used through this area, and can give results for 12-15 months on average. 2. Collagen stimulation therapy uses injectable medications suspended in a dermal filler, which encourages your body to produce its own collagen and elastin to fill the depressed area. Advantages include a low downtime (like dermal filler), with results lasting from 1-4 years depending on the product selected.3. Fat transfer may be an expensive up-front cost, but has the advantage of long-term correction (with the added benefit of skin quality improvement, depending on the technique employed). In general, the volume of fat graft that survives at 3 months following a procedure is permanent, and continues to decrease & age at the same rate as your natural facial volume.4. Surgery is, ultimately, the most effective and permanent option. Of course any procedure comes with inherent risks & limitations, which I will leave to one of my esteemed colleagues to explain (I do not perform this procedure). Regardless of the options you decide to explore, it is important that your practitioner is experienced in treating this area, as it is a high risk area for volume replacement (and surgery). I encourage you to seek multiple opinions, ask questions and only proceed once you are certain that a procedure is for you. Hope that helps,Dr Scott.
Hi Kerig, and thanks for your question! Whilst muscle-relaxant products are all measured in 'units', a unit of one product is not the same as a unit of another. The reason for this lies in the way that the different manufacturing companies define the measure of a unit - there is no agreed-upon/standardised measurement for defining what is a 'unit' of a muscle relaxant product. For that reason different products require differing doses to achieve the same results in an individual. These conversion ratios are not completely predictable, however many of my colleagues here have indicated rough conversion ratios that have been estimated through a number of laboratory and clinical studies. Hope this helps! Dr Scott.
Hi Wendy - thanks for your question! The procedure commonly referred to as a 'Liquid Facelift' is a non-surgical rejuvenation of the entire face (and sometimes neck) through the use of dermal and subdermal fillers, muscle relaxants and (occasionally) fat-dissolving injections. When performed in a carefully selected patient, this combination of volume replacement, muscle relaxant and slight redistribution of skin tension can create significant and very pleasing results with no 'down-time'. There are some significant limitations, however, to be informed of including:
