Dr Braun is the most wonderful surgeon with a soft and gentle bedside manner. His work is impeccable, his staff are welcoming and kind, and my overall experience exceeding all expectations. Thank you Dr Braun !!
I had a breast augmentation performed by Dr. Braun in the beginning of this year, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Braun is not only a skilled surgeon but also a genuinely kind and attentive professional. He made me feel valued and cared for, never treating me like just another patient. The results of the surgery are incredibly natural and flawless. Dr. Braun's expertise and meticulous attention to detail are evident in his work. I highly recommend Dr. Braun to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. His talent and compassionate approach make him a standout in his field. A big thanks to his exceptional team of staff too, they were all just amazing!
Oh my Gosh, Dr. Braun is amazing! I had a breast reduction procedure done. He never made me feel weird, he made me feel comfortable and he helped me with my confidence. Before my surgery I was always so self conscious and didn't like how my chest looked in my clothes and it made me look older. Now, I enjoy getting dressed, I feel freer, my shoulders and back don't hurt like they used to when they had to support the weight of my chest, I feel so much better and much more confident that I could have ever anticipated.
Dr Braun is the best - only focus on his 5-star reviews and you will be so happy you ignored the negative comments…after meeting him in person, I found a confident, warm and fun doctor - and then he blows you away with expertise and experience, demonstrated by your beautiful post op results. I’m so so happy!!! Just do it, you won’t regret it
For years I have been self-conscious about the excess skin hanging over my upper eyelids, but the idea of eyelid surgery did make me quite nervous.I went to see Dr. Braun for a consult and the experience was exceptional. His team was very informative about what was going to happen, how to prepare, and what to expect during the recovery, which immediately put me at ease. On the day of the procedure, I found Dr. Braun to be incredibly reassuring. He has a great bedside manner and before I knew it the whole thing was over. The recovery was nowhere near as bad as I expected - I took painkillers for one day only, had my stitches out a week later, and was back in the office again in no time.My eyes look so much brighter now and I can finally wear eyeshadow again because I actually have eyelids to put it on!!! I also haven't got any scarring on my eyelids so you can't even tell that I had it done.Very happy with the result, I should have done this years ago.
So, I’m not one to promote plastic surgery because I’m a strong believer that there’s nothing that gym can’t fix when it comes to your mental and physical transformation. But after my experience at the hands of the wonderful Dr Saul Braun in Rosebank, I believe there's a role for each approach. I am truly the happiest I've ever been about how I look and feel after my breast lift and augmentation done by Dr Braun. I dig myself completely now - with or without clothes, and no longer have to resort to extremely padded bras and other hacks to 'balance' my breasts. Born with tubular breasts that were grossly dissimilar in size, years of yo-yo dieting coupled with my recent weight loss had left them deflated-looking and amount of training could perk them up. A colleague I had been training with referred me to Dr Braun and he was just amazing: warm, caring, reassuring and so knowledgeable. I had my breast lift and augmentation in December 2020 and Dr Braun came to see me on the day of the surgery to reassure me that he was truly going to do his utmost best to make sure that I am happy with the results as he understood how important this was to me. And he delivered. From Day 1, I couldn't believe the transformation. I finally had a beautiful chest - stunning size 36C beauties that were shapely, natural-looking and just magnificent. I did not have the blow-up doll look that I was scared of. I experienced little pain post-surgery, was up and about in five days. Six weeks later, my breasts keep looking cuter and yet natural-looking. They are bouncy too, which is even better. I don’t want to sound cheesy and say Dr Braun changed my life but he truly did, and I cannot thank him enough.
Dr Braun fixed my tummy after it had been horribly botched by someone else. From the very first consultation Dr Braun was easy going and spoke openly & honestly but gently. So far even with the swelling my tummy looks as flat as I last saw in my early 20s. Thank you to Dr Braun - I'm thinking of more procedures just because I know how good he is.
Like a lot of ladies here, my breasts didn't really grow much after primary school. I always liked the way that they looked - their round shape and perkiness - but I would always say that they would be perfect if they were just bigger. I've been a 32A for as long as I can remember, but I never really filled that out - there was always that gap. I then started wearing heavily padded 34As (which still had the gap, but not as bad as the unpadded ones) which complemented my body as I have a small waist and larger hips. I always thought of having a breast augmentation, but thought it was something out of reach for me. With that, I resorted to a number of things that have been said to make breasts grow: contraceptives, the Noogleberry (oh goodness, ha ha), Fenugreek, and more recently, subliminals. Needless to say, nothing worked! I can't believe I am finally getting my breast augmentation. I am incredibly excited! Updated on 18 Jul 2018: At the end of June, I went for two consultations with two surgeons in Johannesburg. Both were absolutely lovely gentlemen. The first doctor measured me, took pictures and came to conclusion that I could only get about 250cc's, which he said would take me to a B-cup, as I have tight, firm breasts. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed, as I have always wanted to be a C-cup. To me a C-cup would balance out my slightly larger hips (I am pear shaped). Doctor Number 2, Dr. Braun, was really friendly and welcoming, and for some reason that surprised me. When it came time to be examined, he looked at me and said "What about a C?" That's exactly what I want! I tried on a sizer, which I felt looked OK at the time, but after some days felt that perhaps it was a little too small. He also measured me, and came to the conclusion that it would be 255cc's for me. He said that not much else would fit in there. He also showed me some pictures of his work and they looked quite good, and showed some results that could be similar to mine. Now some days after my consultations and lots of Googling, I started to get a little worried because A LOT of people say that the 250-range of implants are quite small. There is conflicting information out there and I'm not sure what to believe. Luckily I started to find other ladies with smaller implants, and they looked pretty good, some even going up to D-cups. Some say that smaller implants go a long way on those who are petite, which I hope will be the case for me. Nonetheless, I have booked another consultation with Dr. Braun the day before my surgery, just to talk a little more in-depth about my expectations and what is possible for me. I really don't want to wake up and find myself small. I don't want go through everything only to have barely noticeable results (to me). I want to see a difference, and I certainly don't want any of my old bras to fit! (except the B- and C- cup bras that I bought about 5 years ago when using my Noogleberry - which I believe harmed my breasts a little, but that's another story!) Anyhow, the excitement grows everyday and I cannot believe this is finally happening for me! Only 6 days left! Updated on 7 Aug 2018: After doing a lot of research about how small of an implant the 255cc is, I decided I wanted to bring this up to my surgeon. I didn't want to wake up with a small chest with not much difference. I also didn't want to be able to fit into my pre-op bras, as the bras that I have always worn have been too big for me. So I requested a consultation the day before my surgery, expressed these concerns, and he measured me again. That's when I heard that my BWD is 10.5. He said he would also order one size up from the 255s, which is 286cc's. He also said that he had already decided to give me the highest projection. My surgeon did say that he would try the bigger size on during surgery, but if it looked ridiculous, he would go back down to the 255's. I appreciated that, I think its great that he wanted me to look as natural as possible, because I am quite petite. Updated on 7 Aug 2018: My boyfriend and I got to the hospital at 6am. I signed all paperwork and was shown to my private room. I changed into the gown and soon Dr. Braun came in at about 07:20 to take photos and do his marking on my chest. He said that I would be the first one in theatre! Let me tell you, Dr. Braun is such a lovely doctor, he really is so so nice and has a great energy. Even my boyfriend, who had never met him before, said he seemed like a nice guy. The anesthesiologist (anesthetist?) came in and introduced himself, and again, lovely gentleman. I was hoping I would get the oxygen mask but nope, I would have to put my big girl panties on and deal with the intravenous! They wheeled me away and had me in a waiting area of sorts. One nurse came and asked me what I was getting done. I told her I was getting a breast augmentation. She asked to see, I showed her and she said “Well, there’s really nothing here anyway!” True, ha ha! I was shivering when I got into theatre. I don’t know if it was due to it being slightly colder in there or if it was nervousness. They gave me another heated blanket, the IV was put into my arm, I got the oxygen mask again, and I was out. I think my procedure took less than an hour. I remember waking up in recovery and looking at a clock that read 08:18. I immediately felt for my chest and oh - the joy that enveloped me when I felt that I finally had my implants! It was like a dream come true and I was so happy that there was no complication that stopped my process. I then started laughing (goodness) and the nurse asked me why. I told her it was because they were “so hard!). She probably thought I was nuts. Updated on 7 Aug 2018: I was in and out of sleep and in no kind of pain. I actually was never afraid of the pain and kind of knew I would be able to handle it. It just felt like I had done lots of push-ups, and even then, it wasn’t bad at all. Obviously I was hooked to an IV that was pumping pain meds into my body. At some point I felt nauseous, but that was resolved soon. I woke up to some flowers from Dr. Braun too! Updated on 7 Aug 2018: As I’m minding my business sleeping and basking in the joy of my new breasts, a nurse noticed that my left breast was slightly more swollen, or abnormally swollen. She put an ice pack on it. The night nurses continued checking on this breast and one of them then told me to not eat or drink anything after 22:00. The next morning Dr. Braun came in and had a look and said I’d need to go back into theatre to drain the hematoma that he developed. Again I was the first in that morning. I was reassured by Dr. Braun and a new (lovely!) anesthesiologist that it would be a quick, uncomplicated process. Thank goodness they didn’t have to do the whole process of inserting another IV. Before I knew it I was back in my room. The only concern I had was that I’d have to stay another night, which was not the case, thank goodness. A nurse showed me the way I was to massage, I was discharged at around 14:30 and got some pain meds, anti nausea meds and sleeping pills. Updated on 7 Aug 2018: These are pictures from the day after my procedure, but the same day as my hematoma procedure. Still a little swollen but we’ll see how it resolves. Apparently my surgeon doesn’t bandage or “bra up” his patients immediately after surgery, so this is how I left the hospital. I thought it was a little strange but after a little Internet research, I saw that it’s not as uncommon as I thought. Updated on 14 Jan 2020: Here we are a year and a half post op!I had a hematoma and had to go back into theatre the next morning. They drained it and it has improved greatly, but there is still a slight hump on that breast. I have showed it to Dr. Braun. Overall I am happy with them but I do wish they were much bigger.Unfortunately I still have to wear heavily padded bras to get the look that I want, but at least am a 34C now. I might want to go bigger because I want to get my padded bra look without the padded bra. Dr. Braun said it would be possible. They look much bigger here than they do in real life.
I went to see Dr Braun to have the excess skin removed from my upper lids. He explained the procedure to me so that I fully understood what I was in for. I opted to have it done in the Rooms with local anesthetic. I must admit I was quite anxious, but Dr Braun was extremely kind. He talked me through every thing he was doing and before I knew it it was all over. i am thrilled with the results,
Due to my rib cage being twisted, my breasts appeared lopsided. Dr Braun noticed this immediately. He did an amazing job in correcting this. I did not want to increase my breast size by a lot but mainly to even them out. My breasts look and feel so natural and the size is perfect, exactly what I wanted. I was nervous about the surgery but Dr Braun explained everything to me and made me feel a lot more relaxed. The post-op care from himself and nurse was incredible and made the healing process way easier. I am so impressed by his work. I can now wear a costume with pride. I will always be grateful for the incredible work Dr Braun did as I now have the confidence to stand tall, shoulders back and [RS bleep] out.
