Dr. Pollan is simply the best! She is excellent clinically, and has such amazing bedside manner. She and her entire staff made the braces journey for my son as comfortable and easy as possible (he actually looked forward to our visits), and he now has a Hollywood smile :-). She is also very conservative with treatment plans ...she will not have you undergo and pay for anything that is not necessary, which I really appreciate as a mother of five. She truly has her patients best interest as her priority at all times. I highly recommend Dr. Pollan for all orthodontic needs!
Hi there! Great question. Not every orthodontist does lingual (aka hidden) braces so you'll want to ask when you call to make a consultation appointment if they do lingual braces. You can search for "lingual braces near me" online but a better option would be to ask your dentist for some orthodontists they trust. Call the names they give you and ask if they are a lingual braces provider. If none say yes, ask if they know of anyone and call those people. This is how we get a big number of lingual cases- very few orthodontists use them and even fewer are really proficient so when patients are looking for someone, they typically end up calling us. It will take a few phone calls to find a really experienced reliable provider, but well worth it. In terms of pricing, you will find that a good orthodontist will price your case based on difficulty and time in treatment. So in our office, an easy lingual case treating only the lower or upper teeth can be as little as $2400 or it can go up from there, it all depends on the case and what is involved. Regardless of what your case is like, the good news is, you can likely pay it out over the course of treatment with little to no interest at a payment rate you can afford. Find a lingual provider and go in for a consultation to see what your options are. It will likely be free and answer all of your questions. Good luck!
