From the pictures it is a little hard to see the teeth clearly, but I definitely believe you should be thrilled with your veneers because they should balance out your face and create a more beautiful 'whole.'  If you are questioning these veneers they obviously are not what you had hoped for and you seem to have lost confidence in your dentist.  It is important to go to a dentist who is very skilled and shows you their before's and afters.  It is also important that they show you a mock up and make sure that the temporaries mimic what the final restorations should look like, temporaries are how you the dentist and the laboratory technician communicate.  I would highly recommend choosing an Accredited AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) when you are ready to replace your veneers. 

That can happen sometimes.  Without a photo it is hard to say if the tooth needs to be repaired or just polished.  I would definately go back to your dentist and express your concern to them.

It is definitely frustrating to continually chip your front tooth.  Often times the reason bonding doesn't stay is due to a habit you may have (like biting a nail or pen with that tooth) or due to bruxism (teeth grinding).  Bonding should last a very long time as long as these other factors are not at play.  From your photo a porcelain veneer would definitely be an aggressive option for that tooth considering the chip is so small. I would consider doing another bond and an occlusal splint to protect your teeth from further damage.

Have you gone to see an Endodontist (root canal specialist)?  I have seen infections much worse that those pictured in your xrays successfully treated with retreatment.  You just have to remember that these teeth are very weak and brittle and you definitely want to protect them at with a night time splint.  Implants are great options for hopeless teeth, but are often very tricky to get the proper esthetics in the smile zone.  If you have the option of saving your teeth I personally would go for the retreatment over the implants, you will have a much more cosmetic outcome keeping your own teeth than placing the implants.

I am sorry to hear you are in pain and depressed with the appearance of your front tooth, no one should have to go through that.  I would definitely recommend making a dental appointment before the tooth causes you swelling and additional pain.  There are some quick options you can do to improve the appearance of the tooth, after you take care of the infection that is present.  You could have a Snap-on-Smile fabricated which would dramatically improve the appearance of your teeth and cost very little.  A Snap-on-Smile would give you the most cost effective and esthetic result until you are ready to do embark of a more definitive treatment plan.
