I had the Liposonix treatment a couple months ago and absolutely love the results! I had a pocket of fat on my lower stomach and love handles that have driven me crazy for years!!! I had tried everything to get rid of them and nothing had worked. The results i've seen are fantastic!!!! The treatment itself was a little painful but definitely worth it.

I am 50 years old- have always been pear-shaped, and have gotten a little pot belly since menopause. Liposonix was the answer for me...the procedure itself is pretty painful, so take the meds they offer!! Afterwards, I had no pain but lots of bruising which lasted about 2 weeks. I really didn't start to see results for about 3 months, and kept seeing changes up to a year after procedure! I went down one size in pants/jeans, and can wear more fitted skirts and dresses as saddlebags have been erased!! Also muffin top is gone and got rid of menopause pot belly! Although Liposonix is expensive, it is well worth the money- no surgery, no downtime, and permanent results that you could never achieve through diet or exercise. If you want to reshape problem areas this is the procedure for you! Dr. Jackson was professional and delightful to deal with as was her entire staff- I never felt I was being "upsold" or talked into procedures I didn't want /need. They also run specials every month which makes all their services more affordable- they "get it" that not everyone has unlimited funds to spend on these treatments and they work with you to figure out what treatment is right for you! Have also seen Drs. Jackson and Hooper for botox and for skin cancer checks and I think they are the best in the city!

Dr. Jackson is so knowledgable in both cosmetic and derm procedures. She clearly went over all cosmetic options and then sent someone in to review again and that same person helped me schedule everything while I was still in the room. The whole experience was pleasant. Even the dreaded full body scan! I'm looking forward to my cosmetic treatment and I would highly recommend her to all my friends!

Doctor is nice, but very, very rushed. Not nearly enough time given to going over the procedure she's about to do, or other she might be suggesting! IF you can think of what to ask, some info is thrown at you rapidly while you're in the exam chair. There was no nurse to answer questions before or after. The assistant girls were pleasant but not knowledgeable. No one helpful to answer questions about products! The receptionist sells some products, but you get no label, handout or info. It feels like you just get injected, pay, and leave, with no thought given to the patient. Mixed results.

The treatment was very painful it felt like labor pain to me. I had my treatment done in New Orleans. The cost was 3,000 for my stomach area and love handles. I only had an inch of fat to lose. I see results already with my love handle after having the treatment done 5 days ago. My stomach area is still swollen and I'm still feeling a sensation of discomfort in that area. Over all the treatment wasn't bad..... I can't wait to see results in my stomach area. Updated on 11 Dec 2012: I loss fat on my love handles. Still got the same one inch of fat in my mid area that I paid Dr. Jackson at Audubon Dermatology in New Orleans to help get rid of. The results I saw I could have loss that in the gym. Liposonic is a scam. Do not waste your money on Liposonic. It don't work as some doctors claim.
